Harley Benton G112 Reviews
Best for the price
I bought this speaker cabinet to compliment my Blackstar HT-5 head and in this price range (i mean really you can't find a cheaper speaker cabinet anywhere) it holds its value. It is very well made can take a a lot of beating. The sound of this speaker cabinet in my opinion is very vintage and probably best suited for blues and rock. The speaker in it reminds me of celestion 75 that comes with Marshall cabinets. That being said i personally play mainly metal so it lacks a bit in bite and midrange that i love, but its not not useable tone by any mean, you can still make it work in your own rig. It is open back so the bass end is not as tight as in closed back cabinets. So, to finish of, if have not much money and need a decent cabinet that will do the job thats the choice for you.
great price for a good sound.
This was purchased to use with an orange micro terror and it does a good job of keeping up! Aside from the reasonable price, I like the fact that it is simple and unassuming in appearance, plain black grille cloth and covering that isn't overly shiny and nice trims on the corners and handle. It is a reasonable weight at 12Kg but seems sturdy and made to last. I find it gives a good sound from the micro terror and the fact that the speaker will handle 70W RMS means it will still be of use to me if I purchase a more powerful head in the future. Certainly I doubt the benefit of paying extra for a cab for home use would not be worth the large price increase for other brands and I am very happy with my purchase.
