Can't beat this deal!

Solid Ash Body!! Maple Neck! this alone makes this a deal but the Pickups. not the best but very good. you could gig with this guitar with very little set up. keep in mind as I am coming all the way from Germany in the Winter across an Ocean if strings buzz a little im impressed. I will change Pickups some day but im liking what I have. the only 2 things not so hot? strings wont stay in tune when it first got here. just pulled on the strings slightly and it took up more slack on the posts on the tuners so thats done. But the edges of the Frets are sharp. yes even for me again put a put of time into it or money and you will have a guitar that will faithfully do what you ask of her. I love this guitar and have it planned to buy at least 2 more Harley's before Christmas. Take this over a Squire any day for the solid Ash body alone! this Guitar is hard to beat OH! remember its a Toploader! like an old '59 Tele. like Jimmie Pages mirror Tele. the strings dont go through the body like every other tele. so its a bit more jangley.

Really good Guitar for the price

Heavy Ash body gives out a great twang

Wow

Incredible machine for 100 euros, it's put together better that any guitar worth probably 6-7 times more...Bridge pickup is ear-piercing bright just as i wanted it to be, while the only negative aspect about this guitar is that the neck pickup sound completely muffled like it has got the tone always set on 6. Immediately replaced with a new one. Strongly advise.

great guitar for the money

I took a chance and was very pleasantly surprised. For the money, this is a nice guitar. The fit and finish were better than any guitar I have seen in the price range. Just about any budget guitar needs a fret level and good setup, and this one is no different, but the frets were surprising level out of the box. I expected to need the upgrade the pickups, and there were a little muddy, but not too bad, although I am a tinkerer and did replace them. Overall, a solid guitar for the money out of the box, and a great platform for mods, if you're into that kind of thing.

Can't find any real fault with this Guitar

I use this Guitar at home and it's one of Three Tele's that i own. The guitar has a heavy ash body with a slightly transparent finish. Its a top loader bridge but there are holes in it if you want to drill through the body to make it string through. Both pick ups are great and sound good. No sharp frets, It arrived perfectly set up with a low action and just three strings slightly out of tune!

The only complaint i could have is that the pickups are noisy as there is no shielding but nothing that my amps noise gate can't deal with. For €99 this guitar is amazing and i can't recommend it enough.

Superb value for money

Required basic set up, superb finish. Sound quality and balance of pickups is excellent. Would recommend this product.

Fantastic

At first i was skeptical buying a guitar for less than $100, however this is now one of my favorite guitars. The neck pickup has a warm, yet twangy tone and the bridge has a lot of bite as a telecaster should. It is possible to see where the two piece ash body joins together however it is not noticeable during regular play. The electronics are fairly good for a guitar at this price range, especially the volume knob and switch. My only issues with this are that 2 of the tuners are REALLY hard to turn, it takes a significant amount of effort to tune the D string, to the point where i have to use my right hand to turn the peg. My second issue is that the guitar is fairly heavy, not as heavy as to make it cumbersome, but noticeable when switching to another guitar. Also, a lot of reviews say that the neck on this guitar is very wide. While it is wider than my other guitars, it is very comfortable for my small hands, especially with the beautiful satin finish.

TL;DR

Pros:

Great telecaster sound

Fantastic play-ability

Great feeling neck

Fairly good electronics

The UPS guy gave my dog a treat :)

Cons:

Heavy

Some tuners are extremely hard to turn

Can see where the 2 piece body joins together(though not very well)

I would highly recommend this guitar.

How!?

I am baffled at how good this guitar is for the price. I bought this and a Squier Classic Vibe Strat at the same time, and honestly? This is the one I'm keeping. While they are different models, the pickups had more "presence" and character to me, even though they are said to be cheap ceramic pickups. In fact, I bought a Dimarzio Twang King neck pickup (check the reviews - top tier clean pickup) and while it was superior, the difference wasn't enormous. I have no plans on replacing the bridge pickup.

Tuners had consistent turning tension, although they don't have a very high gear ratio.

Nut was well cut. Frets were almost perfectly level with the expection of a few frets. Unpolished, but easily polished with steel wool or high grit sandpaper. This neck feels amazing, it isn't as wide as some reviews make it seem.

My only gripe is the finish. Since the paint is semi-opaque, you can easily see the grain underneath. Depending on what you get, you might get a body where you can clearly see where parts are joined together.

For the money it can't be beat!

Cosmetically I couldn't find any flaws on this guitar. It could use a fret polish and a good setup, but then I've had guitars costing in the thousands that I could say the same thing about.

The pickups sound much better than I expected. I am going to replace the neck pickup with an alnico 5, but the stock ceramic neck is still OK. I am going to stick with the bridge because it sounds like a Tele out to sound.

For the money, this guitar CAN NOT be beat!

This is an honest feedback so the sound is not as good as the TE-52 and the quality, meaning only the neck, is not as good as the TE-52. Other than that, this is a GREAT guitar! I only compare it to the TE-52 because it is only about $30 more, so if you are comfortable with upgrades and a little handy work then get this guitar, it's a much better value. If you want a guitar that sounds great with little to no work other than possibly a neck setup, get the TE-52. I purchased 2 TE-30 guitars that I will modify. I purchased 1 TE-52 that I had to give away because a friend liked it SO MUCH! I will be ordering 2 more TE-52 for myself and also a left handed TE-52 for a 15 year old I know that is just awesome at guitar but does not have a decent guitar to play on.

saddles and nut can change. and of course tuners , but for that money absolutely bargain :) and looks perfect.

I really enjoy this guitar, it is my go to out of several other telecaster style guitars I have .

I must say it is the least expensive , I did replace the tuners and the nut with a graph tech nut and now it stays in tune very well. Love the neck !!

Unbelievable Value & Quality

Being a long time Les Paul style player and fan, and owning a Strat already I got the itch for the Telecaster experience but didn't want to break the bank. At this price point, I honestly didn't expect too much but I am blown away with this guitar. Fit and finish are flawless, and the guitar was set up almost perfectly out of the box. I had seen some complaints of harsh fret ends but the fret ends on this guitar are rounded beautifully and are extremely comfortable to play. The pickups are a little dull although they do the job and some folks may not find a need to change them out depending on their own needs (i'm putting a hot rails in the bridge of this guitar but that is purely down to preference). I could find no dead frets / fret buzzing etc all the way down the neck. The frets are also very big (I was expecting thinner/medium frets more like a traditional Strat) but personally I prefer the bigger frets as they can give more expression and vibrato.

I've seen some reviews mention how enormous this neck is - I don't have the biggest hands in the world at all and I find this neck quite slim, certainly nothing most people couldn't navigate anyway. Hardware seems basic but again, does the job well and may not need to be changed out either.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with this guitar especially for the money. It is perfect for someone just looking to get the Telecaster experience for very little expense, or possibly a more experienced player who would like to use this as a base for a project, its a solid guitar for all needs and you can't go wrong at the price point.

Very solid and worth the cost..

I was somewhat surprised when I got this guitar. For the money, I thought it would be a piece of crap but it is built well and plays nice. You can't go wrong on this.

TLC will make this guitar melt your heart

After some slight fret sanding and new strings, this is my favorite guitar to play. Its HEAVY, but its incredible.

Excellent

Excellent guitar for the money. The only cons i can think of is that its heavier (in weight) than any other guitar i have.

Cheap and really good.

It's not a mex. fender or a squire, but it's 80¤ anyway. Sound is good enough, and the whole material is fine.

It's really heavy, more than 4,2 kg.

Very beautiful body

I really was very impressed by the beauty of this body, solid ash (3 or 4 pieces) and the finish is absolutely flawless.

The neck is very smooth, but as others have noted the frets lack polish. Mine seem to have tool marks as well. There were no sharp fret ends and I found only one or two high frets with a quick rocker check. Action is a little high before getting some fret buzz on the low E from about the 7th fret on down.

Pickups are cheap ceramics, and will be swapped out soon. I have already added compensated saddles and new super slinky strings. She plays beautifully.

A very good value, as just about everyone seems to state, 'for the money' ... I wish I had just spent a little more on a model with Alnico pickups, and better tuning machines from the outset.
