Awesome bass for low price

Nice finish , perfect intonation out of the box , fine action , nice sound , fret edges are a bit sharp but not a big issue , tuners are just fine . And also very heavy so you'll need some nice strap. All in all , great bass , maybe the best at this price.

this honestly has to be one of the best jazz basses I’ve ever played, way better than squier and other cheap alternatives. Most definitely recommend to anyone as starter or pro, shipping only took 4 days

Basene

Kvalitatīvi uzbūvēta ģitāra.

Man pirmā basģitāra. Salīdzinot ar citām, ko esmu turējis rokās un spēlējis, piemēram, sx grūti pat salīdzināt.

Iesaku.

OMG

Perfection. The tone is perfect this is what you want. If you like the Fender sound sell them all and buy this. Could you please please please make a JB-75 in a 5 string, 1 natural with maple neck and 1 with roseacer, or ebony fretboard I'll buy 1 of each.

Excellent Basses

These really are nice basses with stable necks. However, there are still some issues with the razor sharp pickup covers, overall still an excellent value bass very gigable

Amazing quality for the price point.

Just a great buying process. I have been wanting a Jazz style bass for years. I have gone many times to a music store and sat down to play Jazz basses that cost thousands and wished I could afford one. - What you get for the price is amazing: This bass has the same feel and weight as the higher price basses. Love it - The craziest thing is I got the bass and I was figuring I would need to work on the action to get right - It was set perfectly.

I was shocked when this beauty showed up at my door.

Shocked and pleasantly surprised. For the money, you simply cannot top this Jazz Bass clone. If you want a great-looking, great-playing, and great- sounding Jazz Bass but you don't quite have the dough for the real thing, the Harley Benton JB-75 MN SB will do quite nicely. I was simply amazed that a bass could be so good for the price it sells for. Is it perfect? Not quite, but it's very close.

Where most cheap instruments show their cheapness is in the neck, especially how well the frets feel. When you rub your hand along the edges of the frets. Most cheapos will slice you open with the sharp edges of the fret/neck union. No such flaw with this bass, it's I perfectly smooth and the frets are seated well. I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm amazed by the quality of this bass at this price. I've played a lot of basses that cost way more than the JB-75MN SB that sounded and played a lot worse.

I'm not a big fan of the bridge and will probably replace it with a BadAss II or something similar. The tuners, although they amply get the job done, are a little rough around the edges and feel cheaper than their actions would indicate. Lastly, the pickups could use an upgrade but to some Seymore Duncans or a couple of EMGs would be great, but a pair of either of those cost more than this whole bass did, and the OEM Roswells sound pretty good as is.

Great guitar punches well above its price point

Arrived safely, no damaged. Fantastic sound. Once setup to my preference it was a joy to play. I tend to find you need to spend a good few hours playing a new guitar, get familiar with it. I made some adjustments to the pickup height and the poles,.I prefer to try get the most out of the stock hardware if possible and rarely see the need to change.

for the price you can't go wrong

I bought this bass not expecting much given the price. Before this first Harley Benton instrument, I've only had a Fender Stratocaster.

I was absolutely mind-blown by the quality, especially for the price. it single-handedly convinced me that Harley Benton is the way to go, giving access to quality instruments that would have been impossible in the past

Disapointed

My fingers bleed from knife sharp fret edges all along the neck. Action was way to high and I mean way to high, cm rather than mm making it difficult or next to impossible to play. Sold it!

Heavy bass guitar

Fretwork is fine, no sharpness but my fret bar number 8 is a little higher and thicker than other frets, so it causes a terrible buzz (checked the string height and the neck rod, but it was not the problem), I will try to sand it down. the only woke thing about my order that I did not like was the box, it was wet when delivered and there was holes all over the place so the guitar was soaked when I received it. I wish for better cardboard box or at least plastic covered on the outer side for the rain protection but they said that all the customers wants greener box and less plastic.

Inconsistent QC

This is my 3rd one. First one was perfect out of the box. This one and 2nd one are not. Fret ends are still rough (not cutting but rough; the teeth). The action on this one is particularly not set up right: fret buzz on the 2 middle strings. QC is very inconsistent in that truss rod and saddle settings aren't quite right: the saddle height is very high on this one. Will require some setup to get it to play right. Hardware is the same on all, so no problem there.

Absolutely Stunning Instrument

Harley Benton did it again: It's incredible that such an amazing instrument can cost that little! All the hype you read about in other reviews is entirely justified. This is a marvelous bass. Until now I was playing a bass bought by… a competitor (yes, that one), at about the same price range. Any comparison is not even close: The Harley Benton blows the competition out of the water.

The only negative about it is the first thing you'll encounter receiving the box: This thing is heavy. Really heavy. But guess what: It's the price you have to pay for getting stunning tone. The sustain is beyond belief – just hit the string, let it ring, and you'll be amazed.

The pickups are excellent, guaranteed to give you full control and the tone you've been after.

The finishing is great, high quality with no discernible flaws.

All in all, you really can't go wrong with this bass!

Nice bass for the money

For 175 euros you can't get a better bass. Nice quality, but the pickups buzz quiet a lot. They need to be changed immediately...

Fantastic bass guitar.

Always wanted to get Jazz Bass. However Fender is way too expensive. Tried Squier - it didn't impress me. Gave it back to the store. This HB is beyond expectations. I love playing that. Even on recording it sounds fine. You know that everybody is recording with Precision. So they say. Don't believe them. You can record with HB Jazz Bass.

Excellent choice for many

Love this product and it's classic design. Finish is good, neck has lovely satin finish on it, in contrast with high gloss body. Pickups are hot and punchy with nice deep frequencies, in good single coil fashion they do pick up some unwanted noises too, so I'll probably do some shielding. D'addario strings are nice bonus because I use those anyway.

Came almost perfectly set up, string height just as I want it. Neck is straight, no fret buzzing experienced so far. Just had to fix intonation on G string, but that was very minor and most wouldn't even notice.

One minor negative thing - it is heavy. About 1 kg heavier and even longer than my old LTD, barely fits into my universal gig bag. Might be issue for some, but I'm fairly big and heavy too so it's perfect :)
