Amazing value guitar

Hesitated between this model and the slightly cheaper version without active pickups. Can't compare, but love the sound/weight/feel of this. Lovely finish.

Best choice for this price to start learning to play guitar!

I'll start with the main advantages:

Pickups: 2 Active HBZ Hi-Gain humbuckers - what this means for a beginner guitarist, which means that you can connect this guitar to a computer without using additional devices, all you need is a 6.3 mm mono jack cable and adapter 6.3/3.5 mm or adapter Cable 6.3 / 3.5 mm (Just seach this if u wanna know more about it - "

What's the Difference Between Passive and Active Pickups")

You plug this into the line-in on the motherboard of your computer, the line-in is blue

Then download ASIO, any DAW and VST plugins you like.

Use youtube to learn more about guitar with active pickups / pc connection

Neck attachment: Set-in

this means - more sustain.

Neck profile: C

This option is will much more convenient for people who have not yet gone through the way of Left Hand Positioning, as well as for those who like to play power chords.

This is my first guitar, but I know a lot about it. I have been making music for a long time.

And I wanted to learn how to play on the guitar for a long time, but I didn't want to buy myself an expensive instrument for practice.

Therefore, I chose this particular guitar, for its quality and price.

So... if you want to easy start - this is the best choice.

A guitar with 2 active Hi-Gain humbuckers is a cool and useful option to save money at the beginning.

*2 Active HBZ Hi-Gain humbuckers

*Neck attachment: Set-in

*Neck profile: C

*Double action truss rod

*Cool Matte Black colour

WOW!! Very impressed

Bought this guitar for my son, he already has a few others including PRS SE and this competes with this on nearly all levels. This has the active pickups and they are very good, he loves it and will be gigging with it when the venues eventually reopen ????

The Pro’s are pretty much everything.

The only Cons we can find is that the fret ends are a little rough, only slightly though and easily rectified.

Also with this Matt black it is difficult to keep clean as finger marks show up a lot, however, we did expect this with a Matt black paint.

It competes easily with his LTD EC-256 and his Ibanez, which are significantly more expensive instruments.

This guitar is highly Recommended and I have now ordered a Harley Benton guitar for myself now.

You will not be disappointed ????????

Absolutely Legendary Guitar

Okay, I had guitars before. Like ESP, LTD, Epiphone and so on. Not expensive ones but around 400-700 USD ones without any Active Pick up. Their tone was okay but I always thought it sounded bit cheap from them. You see I had my suspicions about this guitar when I ordered it and the mixed reviews was not helping. After months I thought I'd give a shot. Boy was I late for the party. Amazingly packaged, not a scratch on it. Guitar is ready, you just tune it and plug. They even sent the 9V battery with it along with a basic jack. I'm in awe, it is not just money worth, you get more than you paid for. Tones are amazing and absolute legend. I'm superbly happy with this product. I purchased the Harley Benton 20 amp with it. it's decent but Guitar is the highlight of my times now!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Satisfied!

Honestly I have nothing bad to really say about it. The guitar came in good shape and overall the craftsmanship is very nice. The guitar came out of tune but otherwise the setup is perfectly fine for me although a more experienced guitarist would want to look into it to get it up to spec. I would also say that for a beginner like myself not wanting to spend a lot on a guitar for what you're getting is a bargain. I have an ESP LTD EC-50 and this guitar is definitely replacing it.

The gold hardware is aesthetically pleasing and acts as a nice accent to the body and pickups/knobs and I haven't had any issues with these components so far.

The pickups are great for what you're paying for; you're able to achieve some really nice tones and the tone knob definitely responds well to handling whatever you throw at it. Furthermore, with my EC-50 having passive pickups, it's very nice to hear the difference between active and passive pickups, and I'm definitely learning towards active pickups from now on.

The only downsides I could really say are more specific to QC and packaging:

- It would've been nice to see more packaging material inside the cardboard box it was shipped in to further ensure that there will be absolutely zero damage to the guitar.

- Fret ends are a little scratchy and may prove to be a little uncomfortable for some players.

- One of the knobs on my model specifically is put on incorrectly and the numbers don't match up. Easy fix but figured I should mention it anyway.

In conclusion: if you're looking for a budget metal guitar, this has got you covered. All it needs is a little bit of love and care and higher quality pickups and components, then you've got yourself a pretty great guitar.

Great Guitar

This is my second Harley Benton guitar. My first is a CST-24T in green flame. For all practical purposes it is a PRS at a significantly lower price. The feel, sound, and look is top rate and that is what led me to the SC-1000 SBK.

The SC-1000 arrived in the USA in record time thanks to the staff there who helped me through the ordering and processing. It was double boxed, in perfect condition, even came with a battery, and even had a cool sticker that reads "in case of emergency, rescue my guitar".

This guitar feels great. Machine heads keep strings tuned. The neck is smooth with no sharp edges on the frets and no string buzz. Bridge was set to the correct height. Plugged in (line 6 75w) it sounded fantastic and sustain was easy. It is a metalhead's guitar for certain. Compared to a Prophecy (way more expensive) this is easily the go to guitar.

If you have any reservations about HB guitars, or this guitar, don't. These are well worth having and playing, plus unlike my Les Paul Custom, there is no worrying about banging them up while traveling or on stage - a good excuse to just get another HB.

Pros: way too many, and the price - unbeatable.

Cons: none.

Another great HB guitar for a little money.

I can't get over how nice these guitars are. No tuning issues and it was set up perfectly. You can tell they are made with cheaper parts but it doesn't seem to matter. I use my Harleys every day recording songs in my studio. The pickups don't have quite the same output as more expensive guitars but what do you want at this price point? They are slightly weaker not as tight with distortion but still have a good tone.

Excellent value for money

Wow, really nice guitar for the money.

Delivered in perfect condition with no marks or dings thankfully, active pick ups sound really nice and the neck is nice and fast.

Love the look of the matte black with gold hardware, only negative point I can think of is the frets were a bit scratchy when bending notes but nothing a good polish won’t sort out.

Stays in tune well....very happy with my purchase and would recommend this guitar to anyone.

HB SC-1000

I decided to learn to play the guitar and after searching i came to the conclusion to buy this guitar. I bought it in the set that is available on this site since it is my very first guitar ever.

When it came in the mail I was very happy with the way it was packed.

As far as i could tell the guitar was in perfect shape.

It really is a beautiful guitar. The black body with golden accents gives it a very simple but wonderful look. I really want to hang it on my wall

The guitar played nice out of the box, little did I know it was not in tune, however i found that not an issue because that gave me the ability to learn how to tune the guitar with the clip tuner provided in the set

Best of its kind.

Ive played a few ESP through out the years. Never bought one cause it was just not the right guitar for me. Well...... HB you’ve done it again. I’ll keep this one. Way better than any ESP I’ve played before. Well done guys.

Love this unit!

This is my first Harley Benton & I am very happy with it. Looks and plays great out of the box. First time using active pickups and they are hot & sound awesome. Looks slick with matte finish and the gold hardware, pin striping is on point. Strings are close to the fret board and it plays nicer than my Epiphone. After playing with this for a week, I have no complaints. I would recommend this guitar without hesitation.

Very impressed

Ok, i know don't judge, 5 stars in every aspect of a harley benton guitar, but this is ridiculous for the price, I've tried the guitar that this one is based on, and it cost almost 7 times more the this, i can't stop playing it.

Now it has very few aesthetic flaws, yes, but again less the 200£!!!

Pickups are ok again for the money yeah they are hot, but big news it comes with volume pots, i know patronising but well, I am really happy with it. Yeah I'll change the pickups but for the moment i an having a lot of fun.

Tuners are fine and for my surprise the are pretty stable, yeah they could be better, but AGAIN IS LESS THAN 200£!!! The neck is unbelievably comfortable it makes me want to play the action in is beautiful and the finish is great.

It handles dropped A tunings great. I will certainly get another one of this soon.

I highly recommend it for the price it's a great canvas for pickup changes and tuning pegs.

Sound wise, fiddling with the vol pots you can get really cool tones clean wise and it's very responsive, the high gain is a bit muddy, but ok. Yeah has the typical behaviour of the active pickups compression etc. And hot bla bla.

Absolutely incredible guitar for the price range that its in. Has become my "daily driver" in terms of use as it is super reliable. Held tune very well even prior to changing the tuners. I would like to see them offer a passive pickup version as well, but aside from that, i have no complaints at all.
