Does not work with a bass

I got this tuner as a secondary tuner to my KORG CA-1 tuner. My main goal was to use this with my bass, but alas, the thing does not pick low frequencies almost at all. Both in audio and vibration mode.

Otherwise, it has a very good amount of features. The build quality is fine, but the switch on the back and the buttons don't feel that nice. At time, this tuner feels like some cheap toy. I guess it was at least cheap.

Pros:

- Price

- Features

Cons:

- Has trouble picking up lower frequencies both in mic and vibration mode. Low E1 and B0 are not picked up at all. One has to use either harmonics or fretted notes.

- Feels cheap

- Annoying metronome beep, but one should not use this as a metronome to begin with...

This thing has been sitting in a drawer unused now for months. I would not recommend this tuner.

Might do the job

Has a lot of great features for the price, but the quality of the plastic is really bad (Mine broke in a month of use). But if all is all the tuner may not be able to tune anymore but the metronome works just fine so I cant say that it was a complete waste. I would say that if you are looking for a steady tuner that will last you long this is not for you, but if you are a beginner it might be somewhat useful if you take good care of it. As far as the tuning quality was I cant say I was disappointed.

My 1st of many headstock tuners...

This was the 1st headstock tuner I bought, didn't get on with it all and gave it away to a friend, difficult to attach, difficult to see. I went on to buy 2 of the Planet Waves mini head stock tuners, they worked much better, but only very briefly, neither lasted more than a couple of months... Very frustrating!

does not tune well

ok size, ok features, excellent price, ok design but...

when tuning, it does not recognise the string always. you need to play the string several times and it might still for example offer you the A, when you are tuning the E (eventhough the A is copletely blocked).

In a case you want to tune accurate and with minimum time, this one is note for you.

I read the reviews here and took a risk. should not.

i don't recommend this item.

MT100 Guitar Tuner

Not too impressed - When it was working it was fine. However the battery ran down very quickly. I soon discovered that i had to take the battery out, for some reason I think even when it was switched off it must have been draining the battery somehow. When I went to replace the battery the whole thing stopped working. I have now downloaded a free App on my mobile to do the job instead.
