Good value for the money

With a built in metronome this tuner is very good value for your money.

A multifunctional thing, but not without a flaw

I use a tuner with classical, acoustic, ukulele guitars. advantages/disadvantages:

Disadvantages:

1. The screen flickers when switching modes (poor contact of the screen with the board, apparently);

2. The sound of the metronome is not so high-quality;

3. Sometimes there is not enough turning mechanism for an ideal location, but it is not critical.

Dignities:

1. Flexibility of settings;

2. Good sensitivity and accuracy;

3. Multi-functionality.

Considering its price, I can say that this is a good product that performs all its functions well, but the build quality and plastic leaves much to be desired. It is well suited for unpretentious home use and novice players.

good tuner

Good tuner. The only thing I can complaint a little - very small sights on buttons, so with my old eyes it's hard to see

Good value for the money

It's not a bad tuner, a bit slow but definitely useable.

The backlit display is a very nice touch, you can use it in dark. You can also calibrate it (I consider this an essential function for every tuner since sometimes you need to play with other instruments which are not as easy to tune as a guitar) or use it as a tone generator which is a nice thing.

It has an LED, complete nonsense. A metronome function is a nice gimmick nowadays since the tone is unpleasant and you can't connect headphones to it. A mobile app would do the trick.

Still works many years later

It's stood the test of time, bought this many years ago but only reviewing now. Does everything you need it to but one might say a little outdated given the advent of smartphones. Viewing of the screen is hindered from certain angles but there's great freedom on the axil after you clip it on.

Excellent Value

I got it in the bundle and you can't beat that price :)

Plus:

Price

It is very accurate.

Size. It is light, handy and fast.

Easy to use to.

Clip is good and stays in it's place good.

Comes with a battery ready to go.

Display with a backlight.

Negatives:

Although good enough it does not look like it would take nice collision with drum set or microphone stand and tbh is not designed to be like that.

Display contrast and viewing angle is poor even with full battery.

Display backlight is strong and might be just bit to strong for a dark stage. On other side for some applications it might be exactly what you need.

Great tuner but keep an eye on the foam pads

This is a great tuner with several other features built in, but keep an eye on the foam pads. I failed to notice that one had fallen off at some point until I spotted some nasty scratches to the head stocks of several new guitars, all of which happened to be gloss black which made things worse. Aside for that mishap I would recommend this tuner.

bought it twice...

I had one of these for 5-6 years but unfortunately I lost it. I was always happy with it so I immediately ordered another. Recommended.

Good stuff

I use this tuner for a double bass.

Great for the price. Sufficient quality.

Lot of features but I use it only to tune the bass.

Its double sensor (microphone or vibration) is very useful in noisy environments.

Harley Benton Tuner

Very basic tuner that i use for electric and acoustic guitars. The screen is very clear so you can easily tune your guitar. The only problem is that the plastic clip seems that it could break after a lot of use.

A must have

This is my first clip on guitar tuner,so I cant coment on other brands but it is a nice and handy tuner that fits perfect on my guitar.

Once calibrated this tuner seems to be very accurate,very easy to use and very well made.

Great Value for money but it has some qulity issues.

This item has great features: tuner & metronome, all in one!

However, it does have some quality issues:

When tuning a bass it has trouble tuning the lower strings.

The metronome tends to be a bit slower than the actual speed.

The part that connects the electronic/screen part to the clip broke, so I had to glue it back. Now the screen doesn't turn round, but the tuner still works.

On the plus side:

Great price for the features that it offers, so I would definitely buy another one!

Bright screen, tunes a guitar fine and the metronome is loud enough for the size of it!

Working well.

Quite slow tuner. Takes long time for responding in both MIC. and vibration modes. Sometimes showing wrong string during tuning, but right tuning position. Metronome works well, loud enough for practising. Volume of metronome can be adjusted. Good tool for it's price.

Very useful but...

This little device is very useful. Once calibrated, it is very accurate. It does need a quiet room to work perfectly: I found that if I used it in a pub I had to remove it from the head of the guitar and hold it next to the strings - tricky enough since most of us have only 2 hands...

Once the battery provided ran down I bought the same type of battery and fitted it. There must be some problem with the voltage as the lights do not remain steady, but vary from flat to sharp wildly. In essence, the tuner is no longer reliable.

To sum up, then: the tuner is good value for the price, but tricky to use in a noisy environment. Be careful with the battery when replacing the original, as slight voltage fluctuations may render the tuner unreliable.

Multifunction tuner

Harley Benton MT100 clamp tuner has got an integrated metronome, built-in microphone and vibration sensor among others. 3 tuning modes (chromatic, guitar & bass, violin) help to save time and effort if you use multi-instruments. Changeable A-tuning helps a lot. - Better value/price relation than with the cheapest HB meter.

Good

For the price its a good tuner. Love the metronome for practicing and tuner seems accurate. Nice bright led for viewing and controls are easy to use.

Review of Harley Benton MT100

This tuner is better than the cheaper ones available and has a few extra features like the metronome which i have never used but its handy if I ever do need it. Clip this onto the top of your guitar and turn it on and tune away

Multi Tuner

For the price, excellent, does what it says it should. Nice to have option of mic or vibration mode. Seems well made. Lots of options, which did make it a bit more difficult to work out how to turn on initially, but once that done, it was fine. Using on violin, guitar and cornet, and all ok. Nice brioght display.
