Good, but it needs some work

The finish is awesome, altough i'd like to address some issues:

The setup wasn't great out of the box. Had to do some truss rod and action adjustments.

The electronics work, but they're cheap and flimsy.

Pickups are good.

The tuners are very stiff.

Fret work is good. No sharp ends. But they need polishing.

Overall a good guitar for the price and a very good looking mod platform.

Okay but needs a good setup

I received the Instrument today. Looks pretty good, although the shade of blue is lighter than the website showed - but okay). The neck is narrow (as advertised) and good for me with smaller hands. However the fret edges were 'noticable' (a little) when playing (not terrible but noticable). There seems to be a little bit of fret choking here and there on the neck (even though I specifically asked for 'quality control' to check the guitar before shipping). The pickups sound fine. Tuners seem okay at the moment, although I need to restring the guitar 'properly' to be certain there are no problems. Intonation appears to be okay. All in all an Okay guitar for the money except for the string 'choking' here and there (and I'm not talking about string choking when bending the strings either).

amazing with some light work on it

mine needed some general setup. The pots needed tightening and the neck needed a shim, but to be honest i had to do that with guitars 2x the price so i cant fault it too much. After some work put in this becomes an amazing guitar that you couldnt buy for 500+ let alone what it cost atm.

Very good quality for the price!

Very nice finish. Good factory set-up. Very playable smooth neck. Good tele sound. Came out of the box with some sharp fret ends, but after few days they disappears, i think because of humdity changes. 4 stars beacause of two cracks in the neck pocket after a few days (i think it happens beacause of humidity too). No sahrp fret ends, but cracks in the neck pocket :)

TE-62DB LPB

Good stuff and every time goes better from HB. Everything functions perfectly, no loose knobs or switches or plugs.

Sounds good. Not exactly I wished but thats me. PU's are good but again - not my preference for T-style. D'Addario strings from factory are very nice move and I think it is part of the good sound.

Stays in tune and intonation is perfectly adjustable.

Neck is exellent quality. All finish is superb, including fretwork.

Downside for me is weight, which is rather on heavy side. Not as much as TE90 series but could be less for full gigs. But again, that's me and I know that lots of players prefere rather weight then "weightless".

Good joice!

Great Beginner or Practice Guitar! It's a WIn!

Very nice playable guitar. Way better than expected. Plays better than my Squier Tele. The finish and binding is excellent. The fretboard is good but the edges do have several areas where they were filled in and touched up. The fret ends are filed down perfectly. Ok tuning keys, will likely change those soon. Playable out of the box but low strings set too low and that is an easy adjustment. Intonation slightly off but again adjustable. Electronics work fine. Pickups work fine for now but I like a little hotter signal so may change. Overall superb item at an unbelievable low price!

Excellent guitar for the price!

Really like the satin finish on the neck of this guitar. Plays great out of the box.
