out of the box and on stage.

Arrived in the nick of time. Straight outta the packaging and with some very minor tweaks I was playing it live that night. 4 for the features. Does what it says on the tin. 5 for the sound. many different genres. take the time to explore. 5 for the quality. Immaculate finish. Build, body, neck. For less than £200 compared with £1000 and much more.

Super fine Tele shaped

This is the 2nd HB guitar I've ordered. The tele shape and specifically the tele style pickups have always been interesting to me, the TE62 fails to disappoint. sound wise it brings out that kind of familiar twang you have on teles. I can't compare playability but it is overall pretty comfortable, all stock materials are great! it holds tune, sounds fantastic and just really fun to play overall.

Equal to my Fender 62 custom

I've owned a real one for over thirty years and I compared the Harley Benton with the Fender and couldn't separate them for playability & tone, I had three band members listening whilst I did an A/B comparison. From a playing point I felt equally comfortable on both the Fender & the HB and my bandmates said the sound was equal too, after I played the same parts on each guitar. We were all well impressed and I didn't have a lot of setting up to do out of the box, just string heights that's all. The Harley Benton TE-62 DB, Absolutely recommended !

Much Better Than You May Expect

I seriously like that guitar. One of the best among those new affordable line of electric guitars. Best sides of the TE-62DB LPB are;

-) Great natural tone,

-) Problem free fretjob

-) Good level of nut job

-) Good woods,

-) Very nice tone

Something i don't enjoy;

-) Neck pickup (needs and deserves something better)

-) Nut material (too soft plastic)

-) Bridge Material (deserves something better)

-) Pots (i dont enjoy their taper)

For that price, it ireally is a steal! Don't miss it.

Nice T Style Guitar

Very pleased with this order so far. The guitar is solidly constructed and has a really comfortable (and nice looking) neck and a classy double bound body. The colour is lighter than anticipated by the looks of the photos on the site but I like the lighter colour, it also has a metalic flake which is a nice addition. The roasted maple nice is mad at this price point. The frets were well installed and it was comfortable out of the box. The pickups have a typical telecaster style sound but are on the brighter end! They sound really nice once properly adjusted (I particularly like the neck pickup). The pickguard is the cheapest looking part of the guitar but easily replaced. At this price point it is ridiculously good value for money for this specification, if it were another brand it would easily cost 3 x more.

Sweet

A great light weight tele, just popped some brass saddles and tusk nut. Another of much dearer guitars are left in rack as this gets plucked.

Looks and plays great!

I’m extremely happy with the sound and feel of this instrument especially at this price point. Love the colour as well.

Superb guitar.

Bought this as I fancied another t type guitar, it's a phenomenal little thing. After initial tuning it played like a dream, intonation was spot on and the action was pretty good from the factory too.

Very beautiful guitar and a great player!

I saw a young woman busking with one of these in Brighton and she sounded amazing. I knew I had to get one, and I'm not disappointed. Could not believe how everything was spot on out of the box. Haven't adjusted the neck, action or intonation at all. Not even changed the strings. You get all the great Telecaster sounds from Steve Cropper to funk to dreamy indie on your clean channel and great Hendrix-y bluesy tones when you thicken it up. Completely gorgeous looking - a double-bound Tele is surely one of the highest points in the history of guitar design - and the lightly sparkling blue finish is a delight. Get one!

Great guitar !

This is one of 3 Harley Benton guitars I own. I love it. I can get some really nice telecaster sounds out of it. It is definitely worth the price. I think these are better quality than some of the Fender Squire's I have played. All I can say is, if you want a telecaster copy, buy it !! You won't be sorry.

Nice telecaster

My first time back on an electric in a few years, previously played an Epiphone SG and back then if you didn't buy from a subsidiary brand like that you didn't know what you were really getting yourself into.

Pleased to say that this guitar is pretty nice for the money, intonation and setup is basically bang on out of the box, no sharp frets and it doesn't have any tuning issues to speak of, I was torn between this and JET's new Tele's but I really really like this finish (Of which I could find no flaws), and the through body stringing is nice too.

Currently using super slinky's on it and its a dream after some small adjustments, stock strings were good but I prefer thinner ones on electrics. I'll probably upgrade from here, doubt I'll be buying a more expensive tele any time soon. Really good time to get into music with guitars this cheap.

Surprisingly good

This is a EUR 160 guitar, but the craftsmanship cannot be matched for the price.

The neck feels smooth, the frets are solid, it came almost completely set up from the box and the Roswell pickups are really really good (although I did lower them a pinch, but adjustments are to be expected even with high-end guitars).

The finish is superb, just superb. I'm really happy and will be buying a HB again!

Very surprising guitar

This is my first Harley Benton guitar, probably won't be my last.

I'm not a super high end guitar player though I've played some belonging to friends. I've been playing about 20 years or so. When I first heard about Harley's they weren't spoken of very highly however I'd noticed they were getting some great reviews, after some thought and skepticism I decided to give them a try.

I'm glad I did, the item was shipped to my door in a week with no extra UK import charges, nice😊

First impressions were very good, no issues, beautiful finish and the hardware and quality are better than the big F's budget S range. Everything was spot on for me. Nothing really needs changing on this guitar, it's so easy to believe if we change things it will be better. It is great as it is, the tuning machines are very good as is the bridge and the pickups sound great to me. Out the box the action was about 2mil at that 12th fret, a little high but not excessive I took the action down to 1.5 mil by lowering the saddles and I loosened the truss rod half a turn for a bit more relief.... Bingo perfect. The nut is well cut and the finger board is very nice, it looks the same as rosewood to me. I've really bonded with this guitar and it's got me inspired again after struggling with fat neck epiphone 56 Les Paul that was collecting dust.

I really can't fault it at the price, it doesn't feel or perform like a budget priced guitar. It punches way above it's weight even the graphics and the headstock look really cool.

Harley Benton are kicking ass with this telecaster.

Great guitar

Fantastic instrument for the price. Plays nice, looks great. The tuners work well and so did the bridge but I swapped that for a Vanson brass intonated one. I also love the satin finish D shaped neck. My only problem was the amount of treble when played through my Marshall SV20 baby plexi. This is a high treble amp and its just too much treble with the HB Tele compared to any of my other guitars. Turning the treble on the guitar down to 3/10 seems to solve the problem and gets me some nice tones on all 3 pick up settings. Don't hesitate to buy one. Its a great instrument

Phenomenal guitar

Looks great, feels great, sounds great. What more do you want in a guitar. This could easily be a €1000 guitar if it had a certain brand name on the headstock. Wonderful instrument.

Wow! What a guitar!!!!!

I had heard that Harley Benton guitars were good - but this guitar is more than good....Straight out of the box I was more than pleasantly surprised! The quality of the finishing is superb. The neck is super comfortable-no sharp frets- and I did not need to do any adjustments or set up-great work guys.....the Alnico 5 pick ups are bright and clear with a great broken up distortion when cranked....I was also able to get a nice warm jazz sound from the neck pick up! This guitar at this price is quite simply excellent.....I would of expected to pay 500-600 pounds for a guitar of this standard and quality.......5 stars on everything

Outstanding value for money

I'd read a number of the glowing reviews for this guitar and some of the criticisms, but overall it looked a real bargain. So I went ahead and ordered one. It arrived in a matter of days and to be honest, I am staggered at the quality of finish and after a few very minor tweaks, the playability of this guitar. I own a number of top brand guitars, all of which are far far more expensive than this one, but this Tele replica is a joy. The paint, the banding, the neck, fretting and all the hardware are excellent. there's absolutely nothing shoddy or second rate on it. I can only speak about the guitar I received, but I have no complaints whatsoever. If this is to be a first guitar and you're not planning to jam with Joe Bonamassa at the Royal Albert Hall, then this will suit most players, let alone beginners. Thoroughly recommended.

Buy one!

I recently bought a Fusion 3 which is great. Anyway, may favourite guitar, by far, is my Fender Tele which I play all the time. I looked in to having mine painted as I don’t like butterscotch but it was crazy expensive . So, ordered this one in blue. Stand by for some cliches but. Played spot-on, straight away. The build quality is staggeringly good and I am so relieved to say that the playability is great. Of course, not as good as a £600 Fender but it’s very close. And for £133. Ridiculous. How they do it is beyond me. The beautiful roasted neck plays/feels, every bit as good as it looks. I don’t care what the snobs say. Bottom line, this is a lovely guitar that plays great.
