Fantastic guitar!!!

I was looking for a Telecaster that would match or rival that of George Harrison's but did not want to break the bank. A friend introduced me to Harley Benton's, saw this model, and ordered it, thinking it's not the exact thing but I'm not George Harrison either! It arrived within the month I ordered it and it's a FANTASTIC guitar!!! After about two years a friend of mine was gassing for a Tele himself so I showed him mine, and he had me order his just a few minutes ago. Wow!!!

Very good for it's price

The guitar's quality is very good exept one thing: the neck have a little horizontal bend. But still it's ok for a 150$ guitar.

The sound is VERY good, I like it so much, it's almost like Fender Telecaster but 20 times cheaper :)

Shes a little beauty

Well what can i say , the first time i laid eyes on her i was in love, i found myself repeatly returning to the website checking her every spec of beauty examining every photo at every zoom angle, over and over again. I said to myself , she will be mine , she will love me back and the day will come when we will be united in love forever . I did it, yes i just pushed that button payed the price and the shipping was in motion. Everyday i checked to see where in the world and how far away she was from arriving to my home. It happened , i ran to the door and there it was . A big brown box protecting and delivering my little honey from thousands of miles away. My heart was pumping and almost fainted trying to tear the box open to see my little Beauty. Ripping off every piece of protection wrap on her glorious body the moment had finnaly became reality, she was in my arm she was in my hands she was in my heart. I rushed up to plug her in and wowser, she sang a song for me that i havent been able to get out of my mind since the day she became mine.

in all seriousness, this guitar is amazing. Amazing price, amazing finish, amazing quality, amazing sound,

There is absolutly no cons to this gem.

Great Single Coil Tele for the price!

Overall, I am very content with this purchase, the finish was immaculate on this guitar and its hard to believe the price on this for what you get!

The only minor gripe was that the piece I received did not have the frets polished down smooth and the fretboard had some left over residue from the fretwork. I bought some fret polish and some fretboard oil and worked a bit on the neck. After doing that and setting it up how I like it, this plays beautifully well!

Fantastic guitar!

I ordered this and a Squier Telecaster to see which one was better quality and to see which one I like better. The Harley Benton was better in everything, made the Squier look like a cheap, bad quality guitar.

Poor quality

I didn't expect full set up but the guitar was dirty, scratched, nut was installed poorly.

I sent it back over 3 weeks ago and still didn't receive a refund.

Very disappointed.

Apart for few finish issues on the body and neck - the guitar arrived in great condition. Action is low. Slight buzz on the high E string on 5 fret. Not noticable when plugged in.

The tuning machines are not good if compared to grovers. But these get the job done.

Cant really complain at this price point. I did not expect such quality from a 160eur instrument. 4.5/5 overall score.

Would i take it again? Yes. Definately.

WIll i purchase Harley Benton guitars in the future? Yes.

freedom to play

I played various guitars, like Gibson SG, Epiphone and Greco Les Pauls, and some cheaper strats. This telecaster is perhaps the first one I have bought brand new, and never regretted that.

I had been choosing between Black Paisley and Rosewood, and finally picked the latter. I like its noble appearance and prefer dark rosewood fretboard to maple.

Before buying, I checked if any musicians use it on stage, and listened to its real sound. The pickups sounding great for the price and consistent with the idea of the telecaster, although they differ from Fender.

Comparing to Squires from local shops, I like HB more, thanks to the deluxe series finishing, even putting aside nearly twice higher Squires price.

The guitar was perfectly packaged and came in ideal condition. It was absolutely playable just out of the box, but the strings were a little higher, than I used to, like 2mm on 12th. I have a lack of experience with this kind of setup, so went to a local guitar workshop to polish the frets and adjust the neck and bridge. I think, this operation is pretty normal for any new guitar, and frets finishing wasn't bad, I have just made sure it's the best possible.

Now I play and record it for half a year, and I think it will take me years to outgrow it, if ever. If your primary goal to express and embody your musical ideas, this is a perfect instrument, pleasant and enjoyable.

I've been wanting a telecaster for ages and this one does not disappoint. Sounds fantastic and plays beautifully.

Lovely flat fretboard and big frets. Not too heavy and looks great.

amazing guitar for the money

amazing guitar for the price...came in perfect condition also. You can see that the work that has been made on these guitars is too much for that money..i also own a fender deluxe nashville and i can say that i am impreesed.

Amazing tele

Finally arrived today. Great guitar. Definitely worth the price. Its beautiful, has nice sound and everything is great. Maybe just 1 little detail. The fretboard is not really smooth. I find it easier to bend on my old stratocaster, but other than that, its perfect.

The lettering on the headstock is smeared! The tuners had to be replaced right away - they did not hold in tune! The neck mounting bar at the back is set crooked!

Δεν θα βρείτε τπτ καλύτερο σ αυτα τα χρήματα! Την χρησιμοποιώ με εναν Roland micro cube GX και απλα πετάει! Οι μαγνήτες απροβλημάτιστοι και δεν μικροφωνίζουν καθόλου! Το μόνο που θα αλλάξω καααποια στιγμη ειναι τα κλειδιά για το κούρδισμα,δουλευουν μεν αλλα δεν κρατάνε... Κατα τα αλλα ολα μια χαρά.Αγοραστε την...στο κατω κατω ειναι μια κούκλα!

"Heavy is good heavy is reliable"

Besides a good sound and a fair price, the weight of the guitar is too high. But it's not that important, at least for me, because that gives me confidence and a feeling of good quality.

Awesome

This guitar is AWESOME. When i bought it i was little bit nervous about that microphonic pickup, but that didn't happened. Shipping was very good and fast and guitar was nicely packed.

As expected from singlecoil pickups it has a hum, but that isn't anything that couldn't be reduced.

My first guitar, and happy

I am not a seasoned guitarist so I don't know what to look for in particular, but, this has everything I need. It makes sound and looks fantastic. There have been some issues with the volume knob but I can't say that's the guitar's fault and not the amp. For £150, I'm certain it's a steal.

Good guitar, but poor setup.

Guitar sounds great. The tuners stay in tune, but are clearly cheap. They do the job though. The finish, is good, but some small issues and inconsistencies ( as expected at the price point).

There is a lot of fret buss on the low E, and A string. Some high frets.

I would reccomend it, but get a good setup on it.
