Excellent value

How can HB produce such great value strings at such a great price?! Amazing value for money. Can’t fault them. Play well and sound good too.

Good strings to have for a backup. Can't complain

Great value strings.

I thought I would give them a try as I was ordering a guitar. I was not expecting much but they are great, especially at the price point. I will be ordering them again.

Why spend more?

These work excellently, great feel, great tuning stability, good tension, they don't feel cheap and they don't play cheap, they are simply a very good string regardless of price.

I'll never use else now, it would be pointless.

The price tag is misleading

Because I've got a lot of guitar projects, I decided to buy these "cheap" strings for mockups, that is, untill I found an old, used set and ended up using these strings on a guitar.

They are affordable but not "cheap" at all. They sound great and last longer than the "major brand" ones I usually use.

Try a set of these and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

bad set of strings?

Tried a set out of curiosity. Unwound strings seem fine. The open low A and E string however sound like I plugged in a phaser. No kidding! I hear this even without an amp.

awesome quality

i kept breaking my strigs on an extreme regular.

1 set of strings usualy lasted 1-2 days. so i wanted to try out a cheap set of string so that it didnt matter to much if they broke.

and i got to say holy sh*t these are great. same quality if not better than ddario strings. and at 1/5th the prise.

all i can say is insane quality at a low price. if nothing else try them out.

Fine as a backup

These strings are ok for the price. They wear out pretty quickly and seem to come coated in some kind of grease from the manufacturing process. They sound decent whilst fresh. They make my fingers smell funny.

Cool strings from Harley Benton

There is nothing to say ...

Good inexpensive strings.

For the price of some expensive strings, you can take 3-4 pieces of these and not worry that someday you will need to go to the music store for new strings.

Getting a full set of strings for less than the price of a single string? Sold!

I don't break strings too often and I keep my strings in good condition so I don't change them very often, either. But the times I do break a string I want the new string to be decent enough in quality so that I don't feel the need to change it right away for something better. These strings sound "good enough" for me and cost less than two chocolate bars.

Amazing value!

Pretty close in sound and feel to the big brand name strings I have been using for years but a fraction of the price - what's not to like?

Wish I'd tried them before now!

Not good for your hands

I bought 15 sets of these just to string up my guitars for cheap but after playing them just for a couple of days my fingers sting from the tiny bits of metal that dig into my skin when playing. If you are playing mostly chords I would guess these are okay but when playing leads these are NOT good, sadly.

Bang for the Buck

These strings get the job done. They are cheap in price but offer a good alternative for people who like to change a lot of strings, gig after gig.

No frills, they do what they're meant to do. PLAY.

Work fine if you need to quickly replace a string.

they sound good to me, however they don't take too well to repeated intense bending.

Lovely strings for an even more lovely price.

Using these strings again after trying other strings like the Gibson sets or (back to) d'Addario.

Again very satisfied.

Okay, they tend to get dirty or worn out a little more/quicker than others, but changing them for this price a wee bit more often is a good deal.

So cheap! Great Product!

Worked and sounded just fine!

I'm still relatively new to playing electric guitar, so I can't really tell much difference between cheap and expensive strings- but I can say that these served me well when I was starting out a year ago. No big issues with sound quality or durability. =)

String HB EL 9-42 - I liked the strings

I installed the strings on a Harley Benton Electric Guitar Kit Single Cut. In comparison with the standard d'Addario Strings: .010 - .046 on my other HB-35 Plus guitar, of course, it is not quite correct to compare strings of different thickness, but I do not see a big difference in quality and sound. The structure is held perfectly, the winding is tight, except that the diameter of the hole in the lower string holders is a little smaller, it may be a problem with Bigsby, but I don't have it, I can't check it. I liked the strings, for a small price the strings are good, for everyday use in rehearsals, the very thing!
