not good, not terrible

these are really cheap strings, so don't get your hopes up. I'm not saying they're bad, but they can't replace the d'addario or ernie ball strings i'm using on a regular basis. I don't like how they feel in the long run, but they're great as backup strings.

They are quite good.

It's an affordable solution, I bought the 9's and it didn't snap, it rings well. I like it. will order many more for this price.

why not get them

decent quality and very cheap, brilliant for having them as spares aswell, they sound good...not amazing but i wasnt expecting them to be, pretty much every order i make from here i intend to put a set of the 10's and 11's because it really doesn't make a difference to my order and its good to have some reliable good sounding strings on hand that i can place in my guitar toolbox, my spare parts box, and any guitar cases so no matter what, these are there ready to save the day, id recommend anyone get a couple of each to try out and keep on hand.

The guitarist on budget

For the price, it's a great deal! especially if you are a string breaker or you just want to combine different sets. Now i use the 10 version.

Impossible not to ignore them

They are just the perfect strings for practicing/random playing.

At this ridicolous price it's impossible not to love them and they sound amazing!

I found them quite "soft" and the tuning was sneakily changing here and there but nothing that would be solved in a split second (I mounted them on a floyd rose)

After few days the tuning is as stable as it can be, never had a problem.

If you have a great gig well...you might think of buying a good quality set of strings but for the rest of the time these strings are the way to go, I'm not afraid anymore of breaking one of them :D

how do you do it for the price

since I have 12 electric guitars and my son 10 these strings are a no brainer for the cost of them

NOT Ernie Ball Slinky's

Bought these because some of the reviews compared them favorably to Ernie Ball Slinky's. These aren't even in the same galaxy as Ernie Ball's. First thing I noticed when opening the package was how much smaller these were coiled compared to other strings. This can cause damage to the strings by coiling them too tight distorting the structure of the strings. They could not stay in tune and sounded horrible. Cheaper for me to throw away than to return so that's what I did.

I just bought it out of pity

Good to buy in bulk

I regularly buy HB strings in bulk because they are so much cheaper than any other brands. I use them on every instrument I own.

The main reason for getting these is obviously the price, and you know what, I feel like these are better quality strings than the price would suggest. I currently use these on all my guitars, and if you secretly replaced all the strings on them with different "big brand" strings, I wouldn't notice.

Now the one thing I noticed about these strings, and thats why I'm deducting a star from my feedback, is that when I put a fresh set of these on my guitars, they are sometimes sticky. Not sticky like jam, more like kinda plasticky. It does go away after about a day of playing though so it's not a big deal, but I still find it strange.

Tuning stability is good IF YOU STRETCH YOUR STRINGS PROPERLY.

Sound quality is also good, as I said earlier, I would not be able to tell these apart from other brands.

Overall, I recommend these strings.

Affordable and sound good

I bought these strings to replace strings for a HB SC-200 which are stock strings on the SC-200. I'm new to playing guitar , so I'm sure a seasoned guitar player will have better information . As a new guitar player and learning as I go along , these strings make the same sound as some of my favorite songs.

Not bad

Obviously not the best strings available, but probably the best you can get for this price. They're very comfortable to play so ideal for a beginner. Sound is actually quite good. They do feel quite flimsy, though, and I feel that the tuning stability isn't great, especially if you do a lot of string bending (the 10 gauge version of this product is slightly better). For that reason, I'd probably only recommend these for home use. Longevity is not as good as with certain brand names, so you'll be replacing these more often.

More Cheap Strings

Fine. No complaints at this price point.

Value for money

I own a rather large number of electric guitars so when it comes to strings it was always a bit of a financial headache. Those ones came as a solution for me since they maintain their brightness pretty much the same time as other brands and cost way less. I respect that everyone has their own taste on the subject however I believe those ones definitely worth the try since they do the job and to be fair is not expensive experimentation.
