ok but no more

Fairly ok strings, no problems at all, but no high quality strings. For the price though they are a bargin, especially if you are unsure of what gague you'd like. Get a few of these to try out.

Outstanding value

These are not the greatest strings in the world. There are better strings out there. However, there is nothing wrong with them at all. They sound pretty good and hold their tuning well. And then just look what you paid for them. Bargain!!

good value

For roughly 80p a set you can't go wrong. 'They' say you should change your strings every two weeks and before every gig/recording session anyway, if your paying £5/6 for a set that will get very expensive.

I have used most of the other famous brands of strings and can't tell a massive difference, strings sound best, or 'brightest' new anyway, and at this price you can afford to have the new sound more often.

The only minor criticism i have is that they were a little bit 'gunky/grimey', but i have had other, much more expensive strings that suffered from the same problem.

I've played on bad strings, the ones that feel like they're cutting the fleshy parts of your fingers, death by a thousand subtle/implied cuts; but these are not them. They are good quality and playable, for the price you cant go wrong.

Harley Benton Valuestrings 009

Best quality-price ecuation on the market! They behave like new strings at least a week, but they are so cheap that you can afford to change them daily. They are ideal stuff for rehearsal, when the sweat of the fingers is inevitable and quickly runs out the initial quality of the strings.
