Very affordable and actually not that bad

Extremely affordable strings. Sound and feel is OK, but they don't last very long. Maybe not the best quality strings, but they works just fine. I use these for practice and another brand for live performance and recording.

Amazing for the price

It was cheaper to buy a set of these than a replacement top E string alone from my local music shop. I particularly like nickel strings and these are great with a good tone and matched tension. They last reasonably well and don't rust, but at the price even if you change them every week you'd still win out.

a great find these strings were,my kids play and strings dont last long, i tried them on an old Eko and gave them a mauling but did not break anything..i can safely say that these strings are kid Proof.

Bargain!

I was actually very surprised how decent these strings are and they are extremely cheap. They snap a little quicker than good quality obviously but they feel and play fine. If you get through a lot of strings anyway, these are a good idea!

Good, cheap strings

If you're looking for cheap strings with an good cost/performance ratio, here you go.

I ordered these strings several times and I'm pretty satisfied with them. They don't last as long as more expensive strings, but at this price, who cares? You can change them more often and always have the sound of new strings.

I only sometimes had the problem, that the ball-end got a little loose.

Nice sound!

Hi there! I bought these strings for my old Ibanez Blazer ( just in case). Some my say: Harley Benton Strings are too cheap to be good. But the aren't! I like them! I like them. It is always a challange to find good strings which are affordable and yield a good tone! I found a good set: Harley Benton Valuestrings 009! Nice! This set is worth trying out!

Good strings

This strings are really cheap, so I expected not much of them.

Every single string is packed in his own small plastic bag.

The sound of them is ok, but not as good as Ernie Ball strings, but better as it thought.

So I have always one pack with me, in case that one Ernie Ball string snaps.

HB Strings

Since I only use Ernie Balls, I have a look around cheap alternative. Therefore, I ordered a pack of these times Harley Benton. The strings give a good tone. Only the high e string tears very quickly.

All in all I find the strings as a substitute string ok

Good news for the musician on a budget

These strings are incredibly well-priced and -certainly- the built quality is not 5 times worse than your average string set from a better known maker. I bought a few sets of these Harley Benton strings and I could not find a dead string in any of the sets. That is a credit to their quality. Yes, the tone was unremarkable but decent enough for most situations and the tone was the same in every set.

I suspect they are not going to be too kind on the frets but changing strings regularly generally helps extending fret life so even if they are tough the guitar player on a budget will be able to afford having them changed fairly often.

All in all, really outstanding value for money.

Harley Benton Valuestrings 009

A pleasant surprise for a set of strings that are only 99 cent! You really are paying for the brand when it comes to certain more expensive sets, I've tried many different types and these really aren't the worst, at least to my fingers. They 'break-in' quite quickly and although they retain moisture a little easier than most, a quick, regular wipe should suffice in keeping them in good order. Good tone as well.

Electric Guitar Strings 9 Gauge

I have being using these Harley Benton Value strings 09 & 10 gauge for years and find they are great value for money. The strings are handy if your changing guitars like me and setting up action & neck alignment where you don't have to worry about removing strings after little use, ideal for gigging / practicing & tone is not bad for the cost they are good value.

Good quality

They are very good quality. They don't break too easily. They are very light though. Easy to play and very easy to bend. For the price you won't find any better strings.

Good quality and good tone

I was not expecting too much from these strings at the price I paid - but was surprised at how well they sounded and held there tune after a little bit of stretching. Maybe not good enough for a professional, but good enough for the rest of us. Great value.

These Strings are almost FREE!! :)

I thought this was an error when I saw the price of these strings! Less than £1/1Euro for a full set of guitar strings? AMAZING!

They are pretty good quality too - not the very best tone or longest lasting - but at this price you really can't go wrong.

Especially if (like me) you have WAY too many guitars, restinging can be an expensive business - not any more!! :)

Very happy with these!

Value strings - the name says it all.

Sturdy and reliable strings representing great value for money. Shipping was fast, accurate with good packaging for protection. I will definitely be back for more - no point looking elsewhere again.

great value!

I buy these strings for a couple of reasons. My grandson uses them on his harley benton guitars, and he is more than happy with them. I keep a few packets as standby for breakages on gigs, but otherwise use more expensive sets on my strat. I find the strings are perfectly fine, bright, but have noticed they can break when pre-stretching them in, this has happened a couple of time with me...so now Im more careful. otherwise, good value set.
