Break like the wind

Bought a bunch of sets and now think that I wasted my money. For reference I have a fairly vigorous picking style and after 3 or 4 gigs with a new set of strings I usually break the D or A string, which is the signal to put on a new set. I put on these Harley Benton strings before a gig and they sounded OK, but within a couple of hours playing both the top E and bottom E had broken. I cannot remember ever breaking two new strings in the same gig before or indeed the last time that I broke an E string. I do not have any confidence in these strings lasting long enough to be worth using.

They don't sound any brighter than the strings I've taken off

Ok for the price, if you have a lot of guitars.. but they don't sound any brighter or any different than the old strings they are replacing..

NOT Ernie Ball Slinky's

Bought these because some of the reviews compared them favorably to Ernie Ball Slinky's. These aren't even in the same galaxy as Ernie Ball's. First thing I noticed when opening the package was how much smaller these were coiled compared to other strings. This can cause damage to the strings by coiling them too tight distorting the structure of the strings. They could not stay in tune and sounded horrible. Cheaper for me to throw away than to return so that's what I did.

Strings.....

I ordered a 10-46 and 11-52 sets. They sopposed to be HANDMADE....but I don't think so! I tore Е strings 4-5 times when I tried to tune them to key of E!!! They just unwind when you try to tune them!!!.... Doesn't worth a CENT like a set of strings. you can buy them in case you need some backup strings BUT..... 4 to 6 ones! :-)

Very poor

The worst strings I have ever seen. Do not buy them. I know they're cheap, but do not buy them. They would be more useful as transparent fishing line than as uke strings. Do yourself a favour and buy some actual strings like Aquila or Pyramid.

sad....

I do hate to write a bad review, but sometimes it has to be done. I got these to have as a backup set when I was a it broke one month. But these are so terrible, I broke a string in rehearsal, but one of these on, and it felt older, and duller than the older ones. I put the whole set on the following day, and the day after cut them off and threw them away. It was a total waste of money. I wouldn't even consider it, unless you had a rusty old guitar to sell on the flea market and you didn't want to invest.

I would never buy these again

these strings feel awful. So cheap and nasty. Yes, they are dirt cheap... buy I would not put these on any guitar I own. I thought all electric strings were the same, until I played these. Yuk!!! The only Harley Benton product I've bought that I would't recommend.

not good

bad feel, bad sound. didn't last a gig. Sound was horrendous. I really didn't think there would be much of a differences but they are just really not worth it if you want to keep your tone.
