Cheap good set of strings. cannot ask for more

Bang for their worth!

I didn't expect them to be of good quality, but they have been through thick and thin for almost a year now, tanking all of the abuse from my bass player, and then some.

For the price? Unmatched! 10/10!

My "go-to" bass strings

Bass strings are expensive man lol, these ain't, and they sound bright and zingy. Exactly what I'm looking for.

I have these on a backup Yamaha 5 string bass that I keep at my rehearsal space.

I believe I changed them 6 months ago and they still sound good.

Not dull at all, I think I might buy them again.

Bass strings as good as any

Got these to "convert" my 4 string to a 5 string register as I only need it for recording purposes, widened the nut slots, dropped these in minus the D string, so far it sounds good. They feel nice, the tension is fine and the intonation seems good as well. Can't really say anything negative about these. Surely they won't last as long as coated ones, but then these aren't coated so thats absolutely reasonable, plus you have to keep the price in mind, it wouldn't be fair to compare these to some premium coated strings as these are five times cheaper. In general, nice simple strings for a killer price, nothing else really in this price bracket minus the no name strings from the web, which aren't comparable to these in terms of quality and consistency. Nothing bad of mention, just simple, decent strings!

quite nice strings

To me these strings are just quite nice! They're smooth enough and my fingers feel very comfortable while playing.

The sound is very clear and nice. For this price these are the best string I should say

That price though

Not really a bass player i am, but when composing a song i do need one. But i really particular about tone, so if its not sounds good, it makes me less motivated. Stumble upon this one on my journey to find cheap but good bass strings.Im using HB-550 through Ampeg BA108 v2. And i play Metal mainly.

Pros:

-Surprisingly durable.

-Sounds goods, not just useable but it really is sounds good.

-Clear clarity sound when slap and pluck

-Really pronounce my bass's sound

Cons:

-Still doesnt reach level of my last strings (D'addario) but look at the price.

My brother who was a bass player also like how this strings sound, its not to good but not bad. As someone who influenced by japanese music scene, we really does particular about tone since every songs almost have different settings to it. Finding a fitting strings does hinder the process sometimes. Really recommended this string to anyone playing not particularly in one style on genre.

Insane value for money

Let's be honest; bass strings are not normally cheap. However, these ones are!

At this price, you really have no excuse to not have nice, fresh strings for that important recording session or big gig!

Out of the packet they have a wonderful, zingy fresh roundwound punch and after a few hours worth of playing they mellow out nicely.

The only slight downside I can think of is that they aren't quite as smooth under the fingers as some high-end rounds, but that is really splitting hairs.

I will be buying these agin for sure :)

Very good for the price

I bought this set for a 4-string bass to turn it into BEAD tuning (that means, I can not judge the quality of the G-string :-)) The set fits perfectly its purpose (of course, one must adjust the nut to accommodate for thicker strings).

Pros: Very good quality considering the low price

Cons: none - it is clear that this is a budget set

Overall, I am pretty happy with the strings

Decent for its price

Used them for a while an a very cheap bass. Strings sounded nice at the beginning, but the feel is off.

For a round wound string, there is too much friction when sliding with your left hand. Even more annoying, is that the friction makes plucking with the right hand somewhat unreliable at times (in terms of timing) and might ask a lot of you endurance as you need more force.

Cheap and well

Not the best sound or strings life, but for this price u can change it every week.

Great strings. Almost better than higher end strings!

I bought these strings because I desperately needed strings on my Harley Benton MB-5 bass. First impressions of the pack of strings was that they were just jammed in the pack, but that’s not the case. There’s just a lot of string. I put these on my bass and then put some Fast Fret on them. Felt great and still do after a week of various things.

Now the sound: great. It’s easier to bend notes and dig into them to get that bite. I feel that the tension is lower than other strings I have used. Sound wasn’t really affected, just brighter and better than the old set.

Conclusion: Get them! You probably need them. Up there with quality of Ernie Ball!

Decent Strings

Changed my stock ESP LTD B-55 strings to these, and they clearly made a better sound, than my aging 8+ years old strings.

But with that said, the sound just made a tad too much treble to my liking, but considering the price, and overall quality, they are quite decent for a quick replacement, or, if you are just looking for funky tones out of your bass and less anything else, these will do you pretty good.

I didn't have much money, needed new bass strings, bought these thinking they'll do the job in between. I was actually surprised by how great they were. They won't blow you away, but for this price, can't complain much. Would take a bunch of them with me on tour.

Very good value

bass strings are very expensive

these arent

they play and sound about the same

not enough difference to justify the price difference for me at least

so definitely a recommendation
