Very stable and flexible

It goes low enough height for normal sitting position as well as standing.

Very flexible with other optional addons for second level keyboards and laptops etc.

Sturdy and good quality feel.

Easy to take apart for minimum space consumption.

Excellent Stand

After having experienced the instability of X-Stands for years, I decided to pay a bit more and go for another design. This stand is pure quality, and is extremely well-built. Would recommend it to anyone. Nice thing about it is that its also unobstrusive and you have plenty of leg room while playing. It is also height adjustable, and the metals holding the keyboard can also be adjusted horizontally (going from the outside of the stand to the inner part of the stand). Package also includes rubber stickers so your instrument doesn't move uselessly and moreover doesn't scratch. All in all, well worth the price difference! A stand which will serve its purpose for many years to come. Very satisfied!

Stable and good quality.

I wanted a very stable keyboard stand that I could comfortably sit at with a stool, so that ruled out the X-style stands. I ordered the K&M 18810 because it appeared to meet my needs at a reasonable price.

When it arrived it exceeded my expectations. This is a solid, good quality, well engineered stand. The materials and construction are excellent and the way it goes together is simple and strong. Assembly is easy and there is plenty of adjustment available for height and positioning the supports for different keyboard lengths.

Although this is not a lightweight fold-away design I would consider gigging with it. The stand is solid but there is nothing to stop the keyboard from being pushed off the top, so I would also consider securing it with a couple of long re-usable cable ties or Velcro straps if there was any risk of that happening.

I matched this stand with a Millenium KB-2001 folding bench seat, which is as rugged as the stand and pretty much the same as the more expensive K&M 14066 seat, as long as you don't mind the fact that the covering is vinyl whereas the K&M is fabric covered.

Very satisfied. I think this well made stand will last a lifetime.

Konig and Meyer keyboard Stand

Nicely made and all the bits fit together as they should. Very robust when assembled. It isn't easy to adjust the height when the keyboard is on the stand and I think K&M need to put their thinking caps on. Having to take the keyboard off and on to change height is a bit of a fag.

The same applies to the supports the keyboard rests on. I have a Roland F20 and the 2 supports are too long for this keyboard. The back edge of the keyboard hardly touches the rear pad and the only way to get over this would be to have the front pad sticking out forward of the leading edge of the keyboard which would be a bit ugly. I don't see that it would be that hard to make the supports telescopic.

Also, the holes in the top bar of the frame provided for the supports to engage with don't allow me to match the distance Roland have separated the feet on the keyboard by. A wider range of holes would give more choice and that would be better.

This is a robust, well manufactured stand when all is said and done with room for only the slightest improvements.

Excellent Keyboard Stand!

I bought this stand to hold my midi keyboard, Arturia Minibrute and laptop stand.

The build quality is excellent and has good height adjustment if required.

The main thing i like about this stand is that it can go low enough to be played whilst sitting down.

The only downside perhaps is that it is quite heavy and may not suit everyone for live situations. It also doesn't fold and will take up quite a lot of room when transporting it.

However, I highly recommend this keyboard stand.

stable and reliable

Very good stand. Perfect for my needs. I have large and expensive synths and I need a stable stand especially for the live performances. I have several other stands but in my opinion this one is the best. Handling is excellent.

Superb, Robust Stand.

This is a fantastic stand, I bought the model with the second tier attachments. The build quality is immediately impressive when you take this out of the box. Slotting it together is a breeze, and attaching the second tier was pretty simple too. I use it at home with a Fantom x8 and a Fantom G6, I like the ability to adjust the height of the second tier so that I was able to get my upper board in the perfect place without obscuring the view of the screen on my Fantom. It is super sturdy, and where as some stands I have used in the past wiggle and move a bit when playing, this feels like the keyboards are cemented to the ground!

I also took it out for a gig I was doing with two other keyboards. It performed perfectly of course, but the only drawback is that this beast is quite heavy! So I have ordered another K and M stand for live use that is much lighter and I will keep this one at home for my studio. If your looking for solid, this is it! If your gigging out with this, consider the weight, and also assembly time before deciding.

Solid stand

The K&M 18810 keyboard stand does exactly what is says on the tin. K&M products are always very reliable and solid. I also use their lap top stand which hasn't let me down so far. This stand can handle quite substantial keyboards without a problem. It is easy to adjust. Recommended.

Pretty and sturdy! Great stand!

Bought this one for the keyboard of my dad. It should be placed in the living room, no band or live usage. So we needed something decent looking... WAF, you know?!

This K&M stand is great. Very stable and nevertheless very unobtrusive. After positioning the keyboard perfectly on top we hid all the cables behind the stands wheels. Now it nearly looks as if the keyboard hovers and nonetheless no jiggling or wobbling.

Handling is very easy and this one will last forever I believe. Like all the K&M stuff I know.

Though it's not the cheapest one out there it's still good value for money. I can recommend it heavily.

K&M Omega - Exceptional quality

A great purchase, pros & cons below

Pros

1) Clean design, simple and folds completely flat.

2) Setup / break down, not very difficult but not as easy as some other stands.

3) Plenty of optional accessories So this certainly makes the Omega look more flexible. Please check out and but as many you need (save postage!)

4) Very solid, even with virtuosic classical pieces stand is solid and steady

Cons

nothing much, but not for every day gigging.

Great stand

This is a really solid well built stand for static use. Probably wouldn't use one on the road though just because it's not really designed to pack down frequently. height adjustment is very easy though and stability is independent of height, unlike an X style stand.

solid

This stand is very stable, I use it for my Kawai vpc1 and no probs. It is more stable on a solid floor than carpet(obviously). I have 2 metal rods which are used to fully prevent wobble, they are not fixed but are the exact height and take no weight just stop the stand from sinking into my carpet with underlay. A very good stand that is quick to asemble!

Excellent but can be difficult to handle

It seems a solid stand comes at the price of handling. I suppose this is to be expected but i guess this is most practical for van owners as putting some of the pieces in a car is quite difficult.

Build like a tank, but about as immobile.

I've bought the 18810 for my Nord Electro 3 61 (and later a Novation Impulse 61) in my bedroom studio. Assembling it took about 20 minutes, once you're done with that you have probably the sturdiest keyboard stand in the world. Apart from carefully demounting it, I can't imagine any way to bring it down.

However, this kind of stability comes at a price. It's pretty heavy and (dis)assembling takes too much time to do it on a regular base. If you only use it at home or in your band room, that's not a problem. But using it live on the other hand…

Best keyboard stand

Best stand i have ever seen for sure. Super-stable and solid. It is a bit hard to adjust height, but when you once adjust, it is amazing. Best stand for those who play in one location.

A stable but not so portable stand.

A very nice and stable stand. High quality german design. My only complaint is that it's a bit hard to carry around on gigs. It has more parts than a regular x-stand so it's always takes maybe 5 minutes to assemble it. It may not sound like much but if you compare it to a regular x-stand that takes a few seconds to mount, it's quite a lot more. Nonetheless, a very nice stand, worth the money. Also great for playing when standing up, especially with heavier keyboards as x-stands tend to become unstable when raised to high.

K&M 18810

If you have read my review on the spider you will understand why am reverting to this.

Looks great on stage, plenty of room for pedals and easy adjustment.

Breaking down and setting up from my home studio to gig and back again was a pain but this will now sit ready for gigging with the spider set up permanently I the home studio.

Solid, sturdy, good quality stand

I needed a semi-permanent stand for my home set-up (Roland Juno Stage keyboard + Roland VS1880 digital recorder). After much searching I decided the K&M 18810 stand + K&M 18813 extension looked like the best solution. I have not been disappointed, it suits my needs perfectly - it isn't too big & bulky, but is robust and solid which was important to me.

It was easy to assemble, and the manufacture quality was good (i.e. all the bolts fit in the right holes, and all the holes were in the right place - seemingly somewhat of a rarity these days). The extension arms (K&M 18813) fit perfectly and attach solidly to the stand - you also can adjust the angle of the extension arms to suit your needs which is great.

If you are looking for a more permanent, heavyweight, solid stand for your gear at home, then this is a really great option in my humble opinion. I believe you can also buy a laptop extension for this stand too which I am now also considering.

If you're after something portable & lightweight, then this is not the right stand for you, but for my needs this scores a perfect '10' - I'm very happy with it & have no problem recommending it to others.
