Robust

Very quality stand.

Not suitable for transport as it is not collapsible.

Very well made stand

I use this stand only in the studio and in that environment it works very very well. Is rock solid. If I have to find a fault (or a personal wish) it would be that the height could be set lower. I understand is a very personal choice and I prefer the keys on the low side. However this stand is the closest to prefect I found.

Very strong

Versatile, rigid, and easy to put together.

Exceptional quality

This stand is unbelievably stable. I'm using it with two keyboards with the second tier option (18811) and it doesn't move at all when playing either of them. It's a night and day difference compared to the various x-stands I've used over the years. The vertical legs leave a huge amount of space for your pedals and feet, and it also includes velcro ties that keep all the cables out of the way. And of course the entire thing is extremely well built (like every other K&M product I've owned).

Both tiers include big, chunky rubber pads you can install in exactly the right place for each synth. My keyboards feel like they're glued onto this thing. I have my primary MIDI keyboard (NI Komplete Kontrol S49 mk1) on the first tier, and I've never really liked using aftertouch until now, because it involves pressing down quite hard on a key, which has always felt wobbly and unpleasant on x-stands. The keyboard flexes slightly, but the stand doesn't move at all.

I wish I could lower the second tier a little bit more. I have it at the minimum height and maximum angle (20º) and I wouldn't mind if it was a few cm lower. I'm also planning to add the third tier at some point (18822), which will be even higher up. If you don't mind the second tier being at less of an angle, you can lower it a bit more (about 12 mm), but the change in angle raises the front of the keyboard, and I have a synth with tons of controls on the second tier (Roland System 8), so the max angle works better for me.

Other than that, I couldn't be happier with this stand. The exceptional build quality and stability have made it much more enjoyable to use my keyboards.

Excellent product

Stable, flexible in combinations (I use it both as displayed, with ipad holder and with additional second keyboard), supports playing standing up and sitting down equally well. Only minor disadvantage is that it takes up quite some room for transporting it.

Great for stage pianos

Having a RD-2000 stage piano I wanted something solid which could support 88 keys with space for pedals. X-benches just don't work for that. I was a bit worried that it would wobble. It doesn't! This is great for at home or the studio. I don't use this on the road as I prefer to stand when playing on stage.

Sturdy

Easy to mount, took me 5 to 10min only. Very sturdy construction. Love the fact there are lots of add-ons you can purchase to make it fit your personal rig.

Really strong stand but does not pack down that well

If you want to flat-pack this stand, you have to unbolt the keyboard cross-pieces which is a pain and then take the legs out and ship separately. This makes it a nuisance to transport but it's such a stable stand it more than makes up for the inconvenience.

Sturdy and Expandable

A great, sturdy, expandable, and organized keyboard stand. Easily assembled and height adjustable, with functional cable ties. Well worth the price.

With an additional K&M 18811 expansion unit, this K&M 18810 was able to perfectly hold my (large and heavy) Kawai VPC1 midi controller without any problems.

Would recommend this product to anyone who whose keyboards are heavier or pricier, and want to ensure they are safely supported.

Rock solid

I use this for my Nord Stage 3 and it's perfect. It's very easy to adjust to exactly how you need it to be, and is rock solid despite being very small. Has a good weight to it and feels like it'll last forever. I don't notice any movement of my keyboard like so often on other stands, and no slippage due to the nice rubber grips. Really great product, highly recommended!

Robust and reliable

I've had this two layer setup for 4 years now. I use the keyboard table (K&M 18810) at least once or twice a week with my Nord 88 note piano. It is very very robust and reliable. Maybe not the fastest keyboard stand to put up or the lightest to carry, but you know your piano is going to be stable. I also bought the KM 18813-016-55 stacker which I use my Hammond SK1 with, and again, reliably robust. I would buy again without hesitation.

Best keyboard stand so far.

I bought many stands for my home studio - so far this is the best stand I found. Very stable, and with many settings if bought with K&M 18811 set. I have also K&M 18950 and K&M 18860 Spider Pro - very good stands, but for home studio 18810 beats them all. I am buying second now.

Strong and versatile keyboard stand

This is a fantastically strong and stable keyboard stand. I use it primarily in a home studio, but occasionally use it at gigs. I use this stand together with the K&M 18813 MKII.

It is adjustable to comfortable sitting and standing positions, and remains stable at every height I have tried. The addition of a K&M 18813 MKII comfortably supports a second keyboard or a laptop. When using a two keyboard setup, it was easy to position the instruments so that controls were accessible.

It is possible to disassemble or reassemble this product in only a few minutes and it does pack flat, but still requires more space than an X-style stand to transport. While this product does not fold down or transport as easily as an X-style stand, it is certainly stronger and more stable than an X-style stand. I would not rate this product poorly due to its portability, however I feel that it is better suited to use in a studio where it is not being frequently disassembled and reassembled. Despite this point, I have certainly not had a bad time transporting it and setting it up for use at gigs.

This stand is solid, and everything about its construction indicates quality. I expect it will serve me well for a very very long time.

Outstanding Value

I've had an X shaped stand for many years and lost count of the number of times I've banged my shins when sitting down at the keyboard. I finally decided to invest in a proper stand and this is the bees knees. It is completely solid and stable. It's almost as wide as the keyboard so there is plenty of room for your legs. It is a really high quality piece of equipment.

Putting it together was pretty straightforward and there are plenty of options to adjust for height and width. I haven't tried gigging with it but I can see that might not be its forte. It's quite heavy and not something you can just fold up and throw in the back of your car. For that I would probably stick with the X stand and buy some shinguards.

Highly recommend the stand for home use or a fixed installation.

Excellent synth stand!

This stand is very stable and can adjust to fit just about any keyboard. I have the 18811 second tier stand attached as well, and it works great. I especially like how low this adjusts to - 60cm to the top. My older stand wouldn't go this low, so was always a bit too high. So, I am very happy with this stand, and would recommend it.

Strong and professional keyboard stand

I bought this stand as set with the upper K&M 18813 Black MKII Keyboard and Laptop Holder ad K&M 18819 Tray. It's really strong and well made.

I only use it for studio use but it was a simple to construct and looks easy to take apart if you are using it for performance.

Nice & sturdy

Got this for my Korg Krome, and for the purpose it's more than adequate. Frame seems built like the support beams of some engineering megaproject and so I have no doubt of the claimed 80kg capacity. Height adjustment is intuitive, perhaps a bit cumbersome though it's to be expected with the locking mechanism on a heavy frame such as this. This thing will likely carry just about anything you might think of, and for example accidentally kicking it will result more so in leg pain than it falling over or anything falling off it. Quality product.

Pretty Good and usable

I have it about 7 months and I do not have any negative feedback. It is VERY stable and reliable. My piano weight is 23 kgs but it looks like even if it been double heavier it would stay stable enough.

The only probably inconvenient thing is get it upper and lower. That's why I took off one handling star.

I think for home and studio this is great decision.

But if you are going to travel often and assemble or disassemble stand then I would suggest to get something different.

Really good keyboard stand, got tirred from wobbling and only several positions allowed keyboard stands, this one is solid, enough hole to find perfect position, easy assembly

Very good but not for gigs

It's excelent in every aspect: very solid and ajustable, except for portability. For gigs, horrible, because you have to screw and unscrew things, carry separate parts, etc.
