Sturdy and safe

Will take the weight of an NT2A mic. Would have preferred it to have an arm that popped out, so i could rec piano and voc at same time (stand sits bit too far from vox, behind the keys), but perfect for mounting a mic screen.

Stands for Genelec 8030

I bought them to be used as stands for my Genelec 8030 studio monitors. (didn't wanted to spend too much since are meant to be used only during Covid Lockdown).

I am very satisfied, an excellent solution for the price.

As a mic stand, I've used them many times and they are great.

Pros: Stabile, cheap, sturdy, well balanced.

Cons: If you need to transport them, they are not a good choice do to the weight. Consider a 3 leg stand, not this sturdy-heavy-solid metal base. ;)

Summary: great product.

With our Shure calssic mike.

Nice on stage

I use this stand for live performances and it's good! I like that the bottom is heavy so it doesn't move if I get too excited or clumsy on stage.

very good stand

this is a vey good stand. heavy and strong base, easy to use and not too expensive. keep in mind this stand is straight up and if you play base or guitar while singing you might hit it.

Good looking, lightweight, good stability

The stand is lightweight, looks great and while the stability is not perfect I cannot really think of a scenario in which this would become a problem. We played a gig on a rather shaky wooden floor and there were no problems. When I accidentally ran into the stand it didn't fell over.

In comparison there was a little bit more floor noise picked up. Great stand!

Awesome for a lead singer

Round base is cool. No problems, high quality I Think.

I bought this stand instead of the normal 3 legged ones

as i use them a lot in restricted areas and didnt want people tripping over the legs of the normal mic stand

I could have bought the cheaper stands but you get what you pay for

This is a very good quality stand.

The base is nice and strong without being too heavy

You will find it hard to knock it over which is good

Just a very nice good quality straight up mic stand from K@M recommended

great mic stand, for a surprisingly good price as well. solid metal construction, unlike the cheap plastic a lot of mic stands are made from at this price. difficult to knock over and damage as well because of the round base. not too heavy either. would definitely buy again

Great stand

I bought one of this for my vocal mic and SE reflexion filter. It can handle them easily. The foot is quite heavy, but if you move around it I would suggest putting some additional weigh on it just to be sure not to let it fall. It is build very well and it looks like it is going to last for a while.

Will buy another one in the future.

Another amazing product from K&M

Not a lot to say really, we already have these in hire stock and loved that they come with a bundle of kit with the Achat system.

Good price/quality ratio

Just a tip: a thread adapter should be provided since the screw type is not clear in the product description or datasheet.

Useful in tight spaces

We use these stands for overhead condenser mics on the church drum kit. They are easier to find space for amongst the drum kit than a stand with a tripod base. We have added a telescopic boom, however they are not weighty enough to support anything other than a pencil condenser mic at full stretch. A failing of our adaptation not the mic stand. The build quality is to the usual high K&M standard with a 5 year warranty.

Amazing quality

The build quality of this stand is amazing. The straight stand screws into the base and its very sturdy if you want to move around with it. I use this for live gigs and its very reliable. If you're looking for a professional, reliable mic stand then look no further!

Rock-solid

This thing has a nice heavy metal bass, and you can rock it pretty far before it tips. The construction seems decent with minimal plastic parts to break and replace.

I use it for gigging. It's not as sturdy as the highest-priced models, and would probably give way if subjected to too much punishment, but still better than comparatively priced stuff from other brands. K&M all the way!

Strong and sturdy

Strong, Sturdy and reliable. If your looking for a good quality stand then look no further. This is a solid workhorse in my studio arsenal and has never let me down so far. The base is heavy and sturdy and gives you reassurance that its not going to tip over and destroy you expensive microphone collection.
