Other creative uses !

I am tired of tripping over tripod microphone stands so I tried one of these and was very pleasantly surprised. A good sold base and nice smooth finish to the metalwork. I use this as a base to clamp my iPad so I can access the iPad while editing synths. It's not just for microphones !

very stable

it's a great stand, also stable with heavy microphones. it's way smaller than the the usual stand so its easier to move a chair around it. and don't really see any problems. It works as it should.

Just the job

I got this for a vocal condenser recording mic at home. It's perfect for the job. It won't have a very hard life because it won't be gigged often. Easy to use, the usual top quality from K&M, and a great price.

Great product!

Great product and great price. The stand is solid and reliable and really easy to mount and manage. Heavy, but not to much, it is perfect for singers who wants to move on the stage. Suggested, cheap and good.

K&M 260/1 Microphone Stand

Really great solid round based mic stand for studio or stage use.

Very stable, can be used as upright or with an added boom arm.

A real winner at the price excellent for use where floor/stage space is in short supply.

K&M does it again

I am going to keep this one very short.

As far as I'm concerned, K&M is the ONE and ONLY brand there is when it comes to stands of any kind. There just are no others. They just work, even though sometimes they might not be the most affordable. The difference in price is immediately obvious, and the quality and craftsmanship that goes into these is second to none. These things are built to last you a long time. So why not spend a little extra and get something that might perhaps even outlive you? :)

Perfect and handy where space is an issue!

I love this stand! It is robust, and doesn't take space! Can handle a good heft and very stable.

I highly recommend it if you are looking for a neat, stable stand and have limited space.

Singer likes it

Singer was had the '3 leg' variety of mic stands and he has a habit of resting his foot on one of the legs, bending it. Eventually, it becomes wobbly.

This heavy, round base means that's not an issue any more and take up less room on stage, which is great.

Good for the price

Not the most stable mic stand in the world, particularly if you're fitting a reflection filter, but overall the quality is good and I still use it for recording.

good price and really minimalist

I got this stand to home studio recording and also live shows , the price is good and i must say that its stable and the round base is really simple no crazy textures ou labels , just a black and simple, fells like a classic object , will buy more !

Good Solid Stand

This is a great stand and is exactly what you pay for. It's solid and easy to use. If you need a straight mic stand this is a good choice.

Theres nothing else I can say about this really only that I would recommend it. I am in a touring band and it get used all the time.

Functional mic stand - good value

I bought this for my girlfriend (now wife) for our vintage jazz duo (guitar and vocals.) She uses it with her vintage Sure 'Elvis' Mic. It works absolutely fine. If I use it when playing my guitar, I have to be careful as the upright can get in the way. You need a boom if you are singing with an instrument. Also, it is not a stable as some. That said, for a vocalist only, it works fine, suits a vintage mic and doesn't cost much.

Good look for stage performance

Solo singers prefer this one because it looks better than the classical one.

It is very easy to handle and its appearance simpler nothing sticks out etc. and plus the iron pedestal gives it a better look and stability.

Pretty heavy, but does it's job well for the price.

The bottom plate is pretty heavy, so it's not the easiest stand to carry around. However, once assembled it's sturdy and easy to adjust. Overall a great mic stand for the price!
