Great stand!

This is one of the best price/performance stands you can find.

The only thing it lacks is the telescopic boom arm, but even without it, it still delivers great performance.

I use it for vocals, drum overheads, choirs...

Great stand

K & Ms are always my first choice because of they last long.

Lowest priced useable stand

Well built and solid, no plastic parts. My only complaint would be that the boom arm tends to unscrew rather easily and this can be a bit of a pain while miking, but if correctly used it's definitely the best buy in this price range and the only useable stand I know under 30¤. Amazing price when buying in bulk

Sturdy to the bone

This is one really good stand.

Could be a bit cheaper...

It's really sturdy, I've had two of these stands for a couple years now. It will do the job for many many many gigs to come

Does the job

It's an ok stand for a backup in your gear or a stationary practice stand at home. I bought it as part of a bundle along with a mic and cable. It does just fine for soft acoustic gigs where I play the guitar and not really ever touch the stant at all but it doesn't seem like it could take any force. I wouldn't recommend it for vigorous permormances, it's definitely not gonna last a song. But it's ok for its money, the way I use it, I'm satisfied.

Ok for recording/home use

This somehow got mixed in with the band's working gear, it didn't last long. Perfectly ok for home or studio use but not up to the rigors of life on the road. The Stephen Pastel of mic stands.

Strong and stable

I got this to replace a cheaper mic stand that kept bending under the weight of my condenser mic in its cradle. I only use it for this mic and mostly keep it set up.

Pros: It has a great weighting, the mechanisms are all brilliant quality and strong enough to bear the weight of a heavy mic.

Cons: If you were to be taking it round places just for an SM58 or such like you'd probably be better with model 27105 (which I have for that purpose), as it is lighter, but still well made.

Love the quality of K&M products, had this one for over a year and it will last for a long time!

Very durable and heavy duty

One of the best mic stands I have ever used. The price is not the best but when you buy something good you have to pay for it. Very durable, heavy duty and great quality of materials.

First Class Quality

Using for voice over work. Reliable and stable mic stand. One can feel the quality when handling it. Like any stand one has to be careful of correct positioning to ensure it doesn't fall over.

I needed a stable mic stand and that is what you get when you purchase this product. Quality throughout. Cable clips come in handy on it.

K&M 27105 review

I bought it for my Shure SM-58 to record at home. I keep the stand extended all the way up to the right of my table and then the boom goes down to my head height as I sit. Pros: It's very sturdy, it feels very stable and it's definitely worth for the money. Cons: I don't find any real ones, but there is one plastic detail on it, at so much metal it wouldn't have hurt to make that one from metal as well.

Great value for money

I bought this stand for use in my home studio and for the price, it's a great buy!

I use it mainly for supporting a large diaghram condenser microphone which it does very well at any height.

I'm happy with the stability of the stand for what I use it for but it may not fair too well in live environments where it could be thrown around a lot. If you are looking for a mic stand for gigging, I'd probably recommend looking into getting something a bit more durable.

For home studio use though, this stand is great. Very good value for money!

Great Stand

K&M make serious quality stands. I only bought this as a replacement for my other that I lost. They are built to withstand every bump and knock imaginable. Mine has been stood on and had gear dropped on it, and it still looks and feels like new.

Solid but in budget one!

The stand is very solid, does the good job as K&M normally be. The plastic base is not a problem, it reduces the weight too. A recommended budget one!!

Solid basic boom stand

A good solid stand, which is all you need. I've had a couple of these for a few years and they've taken constant gigging and theatre shows without too much wear and tear on the adjustments. K&M are consistent with their quality.
