what you really need

I have had doubts for a year comparing microphones and listening to feeds on what mic is best for both home and pro studio, and lewitt convinced me. so far this is the best mic. and what made me proud was, this microphone was featured in Empire series when Hakeem and tiyana were recording IbIza. in short is the best mic

I has a bit afraid to buy a microphone from a brand I never worked but I am surprised with the quality!

Very well built, with all the necessary accessories right out of the box and ... it sounds great! I use it for acoustic instruments and it was a perfect clear sound, capturing exactly the true soul of the instrument!

Impressed with the sound quality

I have to say I am quite impressed with the audio.

My room is not really adjusted for a condenser mic however with a bit of adjusting I got a perfect sound and it works well for my guitar amp recording as well!

10/10 would recommend for this price range.

Unbeatable sound and build quality for this price.

When I picked up the package I was confused as to why it weighs so much. The microphone is of exceptional build quality. Plugging it in is also not disappointing. The sound and sensitivity you get from it is amazing, works very well on vocals, guitars, cabs and as a room mic for drums. Slighlty brighter in sound though, which is a personal choice. Overall, a great grab for this price range

I absolutely love this mic, it rapidly became my go to mic for vocals and acoustic guitar.

Fantastic mic

I needed an upgrade from my AKG C3000B and this mic delivers! It is so close to Neumann TLM-103 which I used extensively in a studio with some extra high end that is pleasing to my ears! Not aggressive highs no Chinese treble. Pure nice sound and the price wow!

I'm Impressed

I had been using a Rode N-1a for two years and wanted to try this mic out. I did a side by side comparison, and for my voice and tone, this mic has given me a huge advantage in the mixing/mastering part of my work. I rarely have to EQ anything but the high lows. Everything else is just a slight tweak. With the Rode, my EQ looked like an EKG gone wrong. The sound is comparable, the overall tone is better though and as I said, the EQ and workflow for this mic has been drastically reduced and time saving. Would recommend for sure.

Lovely sounding mic

I got this for recording vocals and acoustic guitar at home, and what a microphone for the price. I know some live sound engineers using two of them as overheads for drums and love all the Lewitt mics for drums. Sounds great on a guitar cabinet too and can handle the high SPL. The highs are smooth, and the mic is on the brighter side but it's nice having that detail, and if you don't want it, shelve the high frequencies and cut it by a few dB! It's handier to have it there if you end up wanting it than not having it at all.

What a wonderful microphone

This microphone sounds amazing. I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I'm happy with my purchase.

One of the most articulate and true to life microphones I have used

A little mid forward maybe but such a detailed and accurate microphone. Great accessories and phenomenal build quality. There are some fabulous microphones coming from Austria and the Lewitt LCT 440 Pure is worthy of your consideration. May not be the best option for sibilant speakers.

Valve for money Professional Mic.

I use it for Trumpet & Flugelhorn recording at my home recording studio.

For professional music - entertainment productions.

They captured naturally, clear and crisp sound.

Avoiding the unnecessary noises from the room thanks to Cardioid capsule.

Maybe it's colouring a bit the high register, but it's very nice and working great for the Brass...

No signal sounds.

No environment sounds thanks to Cardioid capsule.

Robust spider and excellent other parts.

The only negative i can say is there is no have, -10 or -15db filter.

It needs to be lowered a lot the input signal on my card.

I highly recommend.

Nothing beats this in the price range.

Very clean and can take a lot of spl if you have a pad on your preamp. Used on kick, rooms, vocals, guitar cab and acoustic instrument. Not hyped, not dull.

Makes me sound sooo mellow

I haven't tried many mics really but I have fallen for this Lewitt because in a Goldilocks world - IT IS JUST RIGHT!!

The quality is better than you would expect, weight and no give at all, honestly a tank.

Sound wise I would say it sounds very modern but not very ''spikey'', my guitarist loves it and the vocalist as well.

Very sensitive so your 10c sound card will do great.

Purely amazing

I was considering the Rode NT1, but some peers told me to get the Lewitt LCT 440 Pure and have zero regrets. Amazing clarity and sound quality! It’s very well built, compact, fits anywhere and supplied with shock mount and pop shield at an amazing budget price.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone by saying - Just get the damn mic, you’ll thank me later!

A C414 for a third of the cost

If you disregard the fact that you cannot change the polar pattern, this microphone, sounds on par with

(maybe even better than) a C414, and that's saying a lot. Hope that Lewitt keeps it up over the years in its build quality and features.
