Millenium DI-E Reviews
cheap and works
It works! Its ok. I bought it to have a spare.
Sturdy and affordable
Very easy to use and proven itself in the field. Good sound.
Good DI Box
Very good DI Box i used for acoustic guitar live on stage and in the studio but it was a bit noisy in the studio but worked just fine for live on stage
Would recommend for live in a pinch
would not recommend for studio work
An alternative use
I don't use this in the traditional manner, but rather run it backwards out of my audio interface to send signals through outboard gear/guitar pedals, and it's pretty good for that.
Simple, cheap and useful
Nice di box with small price. Has real audio transformer inside, sturdy connectors, switches and enclosure. Use it as audio spliter for recording
that splits signal before my pedalboard, where clean signal sends to scarlet solo via xlr. Works great for my purposes
Perfect item for recording guitar and bass
It's a very subtle difference, but you notice it after recording: this box eliminates most of the unwanted hum! This is especially useful for parts of the song where the guitar or bass drops out. I'm going to use this on pretty much all of my recordings from now on. At this price, it's definitely worth it for any home-recording musician!
Note: If using with distortion or fuzz, I'd put this box after the distortion or fuzz pedal in the chain, as those themselves can also produce unwanted noise
Nice product.
Good price, affordable unit, worth the money.
Great value
Works perfectly and for a lot less money than most others. There is no reason to overpay for basic technology.
Plug'n'play
No worries, no power supply and sound is decent. Good alternative to miking
Handy
Handy way of converting a stereo jack into mono xlr mic level input. Does the job perfectly, couldn't ask for anymore.
used it a few times and it does the job ok !
For the money great
They work fine.. not great but for small live gigs are perfect..
great DI box
works well for my needs gives a clean signal
Foarte bun!
Un DI pasiv foarte bun, nu doar pentru pretul platit. Carcasa metalica foarte robusta!
Quality passive DI
A good DI box at any price.
This little box works extremely well. I prefer passive DI boxes just for their simplicity and ease of use. This one is made of metal and will easily withstand a standard stage environment. There is no added sound, just a clean signal sent to the board or your amplifier. The switches enable you to adapt to any environment and make sure that the signal is uninterrupted. Small enough to fit in your gig bag and good enough to use anywhere. Great product.
Perfect for everything except (passive) Bass Guitar
I have about 5 of these for; Acoustic Guitar, Keyboard, Pads, Click & Electric Guitar. But not Bass, why?
For some reason when you try to plug in a bass (Passive) and try to turn it up on the mixer you get this crazy loud screeching sound. At first I thought the bass was broken (but no it worked fine with an amp), then I thought the cable was broken (but no I double checked with a cable checker) then I checked the DI with an acoustic guitar and it worked fine.
I then came to the conclusion that the bass was unable to output a strong enough signal to be used with a passive DI box. So I ordered the Behringer BDI21 in hopes that it will solve my issue.
For the price it costs there is nothing negative to mention
Good cheap DI box
I have bought one of these to connect my MicroPOG to my soundcard. Quality of sound is not that important to me in this application. Having said that, this DI is actually great. At this price it's a steal.
Does what supposed to do
Haven not tested this DI Box yet. However, the build quality looks decent and I think it will do the function it is supposed to do.
May edit my review after trying it live.
simple box that does exactly what I need it to
I use this to grab a dry signal from my guitar alongside the amped miked signal when recording. It does the job wonderfully. No noise, no artifacts, no problems whatsoever. And great sound.
