Millenium DI-E 4-stars Reviews
Actually not bad.
I needed a cheap DI box for some small stupid projects. So i bought this one.. After using it for some time the thing grew on me and i ordered a few more.. does what it needs to to do for a decent price.. true, its not a bss or a radial but for everyone who doesnt want to pay over 150 for a D.i. box..
Give this one a shot..
If it works, it works
I have used these for years and never had a problem with them myself. No noise problems or broken units. But I have seen them fail for other people a few times. I always carry a few ones around for backup di-boxes. They are light, rather small and cheap. Great product for the price.
Great item
Great item for the price
An alternative use
I don't use this in the traditional manner, but rather run it backwards out of my audio interface to send signals through outboard gear/guitar pedals, and it's pretty good for that.
Handy
Handy way of converting a stereo jack into mono xlr mic level input. Does the job perfectly, couldn't ask for anymore.
Ideal for a bedroom studio
This sturdy DI box improved a lot the signal of the low frequencies from my bass guitar and the bass drum of my e drums.
Simple to use but definitely basic in terms of parameters and features
Very fine
feels high quality, sound is great does what its supposed to, good product
Really nice passive DI
I use it in my home recording studio for bass and acoustic guitar and it is perfect for what I need.
Because it is passive it doesn't change sound, it has ground lift, really good DI box. Does not need power to work so it can be used for live.
Really good metal construction.
I like it very much and woul recomend it always.
Does the job
If you need a DI for a basic function rather than to add anything to the sound, why would you pay more?
Does the job
Cheap, simple and reliable.
ok for the money
I got two of them and they work fine. When a/b testing with headphones you can tell from other D I boxes that this one doesn't have the same sound. It has a bit of a hum, but I couldn't tell in the PA, only the headphones.. also it sounded a bit dull...not a problem, but not amazing either, I gave 4 stars because of price. Next DI's I get will be more expensive. I will not get more.
Good & cheap
It does what it needs to do and it does it well. There's not much that goes into a DI box and this one is like a mini tank. It doesn't look fancy and it doesn't do anything fancy. So, if you're just looking for a DI box for little money, BUY THIS.
A budget DI box
With this prices. i thinks you can woking with this good DI.
It not expansive. But the sound is not that bad.
Order this if you want DI just for can be working.
Does the job just fine for the money
A great competitor to the other similarly priced passive boxes, feels well built and a great addition to any system.
Nice and sturdy
If you're looking for a DI Box to get the job done without paying too much, add this to your basket. I use it for home recording as well as live performances, even the sound guy was impressed with its build quality and sound clarity. I've got one in my gig-bag and it works like a charm even on big stages.
Its small, portable and very reliable. If you're in a band or need Direct Injection Box for your instruments, get a some of those. That's all you'll need for a quality signal.
Hope that helps!
Great value for money
I picked this up on a whim since it was so cheap and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product.
I use the Millenium DI-E primarily for sending ambient sounds and pre-programmed synths from a laptop to the mixing console in a live setting. This DI box works perfectly for this purpose.
It is a no-frills, simple product, it benefits from a ground lift to eliminate and unwanted noise and it is solidly built. It handles being transported and knocked around very well.
You do get what you pay for however and the sound is not as clean as with more expensive DI boxes and some frequencies may be attenuated. This can be compensated for at the mixing stage in a live setting but for serious studio work it could pose a problem.
All in all I would recommend this product to anyone based on its performance and price.
does what it says on the pack.
Does what it says
It's small, it does what it says and it's cheap! What more could you ask?
Good little unit for the price
For a cheap as chips DI box, these little things are pretty good. They cant compete with more expensive units, but for a low cost passive unit, they do the job pretty well. Very handy to keep in your lead box.
