Surprisingly good

I bought this product just to try some things out, but eventually I end up using this more often than my more expensive DI-boxes. It's passive so it is convenient.

Great VFM

This is great value for money. Robust, compact, neat. I don't know what the SPEAKER bit is, but if the switch is set to it then the DI does not send a signal, so if your DI isn't working, check that first. Otherwise it's been perfect.

The best in it’s price range

The was the best choice I have ever made. I wasn’t expected this kind of quality from that price. It looks and feels solid.

stress free passive DI

I picked this up 6 months ago for gigging and engineering some gigs as i just needed a spare backup DI and didn't want to have to spend loads of money on it. Everytime I've used it it's been absolutely great. No issues whatsoever and one of those pieces of kit that just comes with you everywhere and you know it won't have any problems. Wasn't expecting much for the price of it but im really impressed with it

Spot on

Short and sweet: this box has everything you need to get your instrument chain balanced and into a PA when you don't have an amp. The previous one I was using had a small boost and a cab simulator, but they were very ineffective. This one has a switch for either instrument or microphone, which is cool.

Dont hesitate, just buy it

At the price point, these things are solid and very reliable. Used very very regular, they have never ever let me down. Sound quality through them is fantastic and very transparent.

Surprisingly good!

I have a few nice DI boxes, an LBP Inc, two Radials and a Countryman. However I wanted a DI box to keep in my gig bag that I could loan out to someone or solve a problem with. This is honestly just perfect. Find my thread on Basschat where I compare it to my LBP. I've only knocked a star off 'quality' because those plastic nuts on the jack sockets always break. In fairness the ones on this specific DI haven't yet, but they will, they always do.

compact and works fine

it does what it has to do, it is compact and the material seems to be of good quality for home studio use or live gigs.

A bargain and a must have for your PA accessories case

OK, so no XLR input. Takes an unbalanced input and outputs through a balanced XLR. Has a direct out (through) to jack. Switches between speaker and instrument and has an effective ground lift. Completely passive so it will always work. You cannot ask for more from a DI box with a jack input. I may buy another couple, just to make sure I always have enough of them.

It's a DI Box

If you don't have about ten of these lying around, you have done something wrong. These fix everything and are vital for recording, live, home, studio, anything. You can get better DI's sure but for the price and what these can do, you should always have a couple on hand.

I used one recently to reduce hum & hiss recording into a laptop via interface, by plugging the guitar straight in through it and lifting the ground. Noise floor dropped to negligible, signal sounded great. Brought two live in a guitar bag to a gig and saved three bands who needed them. Get them.

Essential studio tool

Essential piece of kit for the home or professional studio, especially for dealing with dreaded ground loops. Built to last and very affordable, I appreciate the actual diagram of how the circuit is built so you understand exactly what is going on inside.

Works both ways

While it's not quite as good as a powered DI box, this little puppy works in 90% of the cases where I need a DI box. Even better, because it's all passive, it works the other way as a make-shift re-amp box if you need one too.

Buy one. Hell, be like me and buy a dozen. :D

Does the job well and you can't beat the price

Really great little piece of gear. Works as advertised and for this price is too good of an investment not to have in your studio.

Amazing performance for the price!

I bought this to use with an old Valco amp which isn't that loud when cranked so it was a good way to test if I could get a decent direct sound from the amp recorded to use with impulse responses. It worked perfectly! And now I have a handy DI box which can handle speaker outputs for whenever I need it.

Simple, cheap and useful

Nice di box with small price. Has real audio transformer inside, sturdy connectors, switches and enclosure. Use it as audio spliter for recording

that splits signal before my pedalboard, where clean signal sends to scarlet solo via xlr. Works great for my purposes
