Just good

A little signal drop of course but that's ok

Good cheap DI-Box. Sound's good.

Cheap and reliable

Very cheap and reliable DI box. Just make sure you give it phantom power. Our vocalist use a pedal with jack-cable out so we always bring our own DI-box just in case.

Cheap, small (much smaller then it looks on pictures), sturdy and does what it's supposed to.

You can't break this thing

Best DI on the market, it gets used every day and it gets shoved in the closet at the end of the day. Still, barely a scratch and it works every time. AND IT'S PASSIVE.

Cheap and cheerful

This box does exactly what you would expect. A nice clean output at the right impedance and level.

Cheap but good

I have 6 or 8 of these.

Starting with bulky older edition and ending with smaller newer ones. All good and durable.

Pros:

-Cheep as hell

-Durable

-Eliminates ground hum very well

Cons:

Ruber feet falls of after some period of rough use.

No fuss

Does the job pretty well, nothing to complain at this price.

Every bass player should have one.

A simple add on for my pedal board. Great quality for the money.

Used weekly - faultless

Has never let me down, I have run both acoustic guitar and bass ( post pedal board) to PA and it has been perfect. Such a low price, DI box or 2 like this is a must have for any live band.

A cheap, robust, and easy-to-use DI box. It does what a DI should do.

Cheapest DIs around - use them daily

I use these all the time in my job as a university theatre technician and in my freelance life as a gigging musician and sound engineer.

The main attraction, it has to be said, is the price. I can get three for the price of the nearest competitor, and the quality is pretty consistent with those competitors. I have had one problem with the old version of this product - the xlr out came loose from the box. However sound wise it still worked and I was able to patch it up and keep using it. Since then, they have changed the design of these and I have not had any problems since. Never really worked out what the instr/spkr button does. Wouldn't fancy trying a speaker load on this - surely this could fry your valve amp? I guess you could use the link out into your cab, but don't take my word for it! I tend to use it as a mute switch, which in itself is quite useful.

I like the fact that these are small too - I keep one in the car and one in my guitar case always. Even if you prefer expensive DIs - you can't lose having one of these as a backup.

Good DI

This is an awesome DI for its value. Can easily be with you for tours and everything else. Completeley recommend it!

Amazing

I've tested this thing forward and backward, and it works great. No knobs, no attenuation. It just works. The ground switch also works wonders. I might just start using it all the time for that feature alone.

Millenium DI E (E for excellent!) Stage DI Box

Superb plain and simple passive stage DI box with simple features including XLR ground lift, TRS/TS dual inputs, with the inputs being switchable to push the source signal back out to a speaker/amplifier. Designed for live work it has a solid metal casing and is great value for money. The sound is neutral. I've opened one up and all is good inside. Why? Because one report said the device wasn't grounded to the case and that the ground lift wouldn't work! Well, it shouldn't be as far as I'm aware! I've seen a couple of negative reviews ... this is NOT a fancy all bells and whistles DI for studio use, it is a stage DI box for live PA work. The ground lift is simply there to lift the ground between the Hi ins and Low outs where there might be poor line leads. It will not solve guitar pick-up hum or mains leakage problems that require an electrician!

otput on my tyros was very hummy... lots of noise but, not anymore.... this unit killed the ground interference stone dead

Mindblowing device for dirt cheap.

I use it in my home studio and on live gigs. The sound is just fine and clean. For reamping works great with digital and valve devices. While not used it looks fantastic on my workdesk. It's worth a two starbuck coffes but seems more expensive. Get it if you don't need anything fancy.

Cheap but works great!

Perfect value

It's super hard to fault this product. I've been using it for the last year-or-so to record my guitar and bass, and it has worked fine with no issues. The DI box is basic, with few features, but splits the guitar signal with absolutely no problem at all.

Pros:

+Easy to use, as it requires no external power and has very few controls. This makes it perfect for beginners

+Very cheap, and does the job perfectly - the product is very good value

+Includes a ground lift swift to cut out any background humming when recording.

+Sound quality is flawless, and has no noticeable decrease in quality.

+The build quality is strong and has survived well for the time I've used it.

Cons:

-There are few advanced features - this wasn't an issue for me but could be for more advanced users

-Could benefit from a little instruction manual to help new users who've never used a DI box. Setting up the box was slightly confusing

I strongly suggest that any young producers or guitarists wanting to get into recording demos or full tracks get this product - it has helped my music playing and production skills develop in many ways.
