Millenium MS 2002 Mic Stand 4-stars Reviews
Perfectly fine stand!
Great value for the price, not a heavy duty stand, but does the job perfectly well. There are better stands out there, but much more expensive.
OK mini stand
This stand is great for the price. I have it on a kick drum and it is never moved around. Yes, it's a little underweight and might break sooner than the more pricey ones, if you move it a lot, that is... but like I said, perfect for the money.
does the job
Quality/price is a good deal
It does its job
This is one of the better Millenium stands ive used. No problems with it so far and it does its job well.
Great for the price
I've used this mic stand for mic'ing up my guitar cabinet at home. Does the job and I've got no complaints. Build quality is good and it doesent take up too much space either!
It is good for the money! But don't expect to be last for years if you are a tour drummer.
A good product
A decent product, I like it. The only thing I would complain about is that the arm can come out too far so it would not stand straight anymore, but it is not a big issue. Otherwise very good.
does what it's supposed to do
After a year of using this, one of the plastic parts at the end of the feet fell off, but the stand works fine. Unless you're operating a high-end studio and want to spend a lot on stands and HW, this one will do perfectly. It's stable enough to hold a bass drum mic without moving from the air shockwave and that's enough for me.
Good value for the money
Given the price I have not much to object, but be ready for some fixing job. The grip of the screws can be weak, especially on the telescopic boom arm, and, in one of the two MS 2002 I own, I had to put some insulation tape on the thread of the vertical telescopic part, which otherwise would collapse when handled.
For my hobbyist usage (once per week, handled by me only, left in place from the beginning to the end of the end) they are fine, and I saved a lot of money when compared to similar K&M stands.
For the money? Unbeatable.
As someone who's just starting out with his studio, I need many mic stands, and these are fantastic for the price. They might not extend as far as I might like, but I've found a purpose for each of them, including this one. Now there are some minor grips I have with the slight movement, even when I tighten everything as hard as possible, but it does it's job and it does it well!
Does what it goes for
Good height adjusted to the cab.
Stable enough.
Great.
Ok for the price
Very cheap mic stand.
If the stand is used as drum mic holder, that does not need to be put away, it works great.
I used two of those as a stand for vocal mic and the first one broke (at the elbow) the third time it was on the stage. The second one did not last for much more.
I gues the price - quality holds form this one too!
Tightening required washers
Washers needed on main Y axis tightener, used a thick washer, otherwise great. Sturdy and well made
Lovely!
For the price, not bad at all. stretches out to a good height and works well for what I use it for. Snare, Hi-Hat, Lead Guitar mic.
I was impressed with this stand, I bought 2 as spare.
Millenium MS 2002 Mic Stand.
At this price level it a great buy, not suited for life on the road, but leave it in your home studio, and once set up should give you years of service. Just assemble carefully leave it where you want it and forget about it. Lightweight on your pocket and in construction ideal for home use at this price you can't really complain. If you need something to withstand a life of gigging then something heavier built but much more expensive is in order. All in all a good little stand for the money.
Quality and cheap
These don't feel the strongest quality, so I won't depend on them for live use, but in a studio setting they are fantastic. They extend quite far and the arm allows you to tighten the grip very securely.
I have no problems using this stand with heavy mics such as the Lewitt 640REX when you counter-balance it with the telescopic arm.
Good for the price
It's good if you take care of it really well.... If you are rough it will become unstable really fast. I'd rather go for K&M stuff but this will do to. Good for micing guitar cab for example.
Good and stable. I didn't find any cons
Great value stand
We have some K+M stands, and now this little fella, it's a good quality piece of kit, not quite up to the same standard, but I'd be happy buying another (this one was to mic a cajon). Also, it's about 1/4 of the price! So yes, good purchase
Good for instruments
This stand is good to mic an instrument, I used it live too. Good built and works well.
