Millenium mike stand

this stand has been no problem so far. Although it's fairly light and easy to transport, stability has not been an issue. good value for money.

it is one place were this top part is screwed down to the vertical part and it rotates all the time making it loose like a not tighten bolt. Everything else is quite good and stable

Millenium MS-2002 Mic Stand

i really liked this stand its just right for my playing , sadly the handle broke so i need to order a new one , this is not the strongest of them all but a great all rounder and moves in many ways , the price is very cheep also , overall great product

Great Sturdy Littly Stand!

I got 2 Millenium MS-2002's to use micing up guitar amps in my studio and they work great! I was a little worried that at this price they might not be all that sturdy but i was wrong! Now i use them all over, they are such useful little stands to mic up instruments. and come with a cable clip to keep things nice and tidy, great for any studio or live environment. All in all 4.5 out of 5, An Great useful little stand at a great price!

Almost a brilliant product...

The stand is a great height for micing the outside kickdrum, guitar amps and capturing the mounted drums or hats.

I have two of these, one has lasted really well, the other unfortunately had a problem with the boom arm not tightening anymore. You don't much pressure when tightening these stands, however apply too much and they are possibly going to break.

Very useful product though, and a great price!

Good cheap stand

I needed a small stand for low to the ground micing such as bass drums but I also wanted one that could extend far enough to reach a snare drum or top of a guitar cab that wasn't too in the way, this does that with ease as its a 2-tier stand and 2-tier boom arm.

Its a good quality stand and comes with an adapter for mic clips. Its well balanced and I wouldn't be surprised if it even could hold an Electrovoice RE-20 without any issue.

I think the only problem I have is that the hand grip to tighten and lock in the veritcle pole high has cracked and broken making it much harder to turn but much sturdier in hight. I do believe this was due to someone dropping it and not actual a fault of the mic stand itself though.

In conclusion, its a small stand with a big reach at a very good price.

A fine stand.

Although I would not think of these stands as touring grade, they are perfectly fine for studio use, and light live sound usage. For the money they work well, I would happily buy them again.

Good mic stand

The mic stand is used to pick up a guitar amp in our rehearsal room and it does its job very well. The handling is easy and it is stable and doesn't need to much space, which is always a good thing.

does it's job in studio environment

I bought this one for my homestudio use and it does its job pretty well.

All the screws are fine and every way of adjusting it works as well.

Still, I wouldnt recommend it for use on the road because the stand appears quite flimsy over all. I can imagine it woould break apart prematurely in a "tour-situation".

Despite this i can say its just fine for (home-)studio usage.

Great value

Reasonably stable and usable for home use. Great deal taking the price into account. I use to hold the microphone for recording my acoustic guitar and I am very happy with that especially because of the small size and hight.

Good value for money

Cheap, well made and sturdy. Not the heaviest stand but still solid enough. My test is to see if it can hold an Electrovoice RE20 in place when fully extended, it passes the test!

Another surprisingly good 'Millenium' product

I needed a stand to mic my guitar cabinet for recordings, and didn't want to put too much money for it, so I bought this one. It seems this is far better made than I had expected, since I would also take this with me to a gig - the stand is heavy and seems to have enough stability to handle high sound pressures. The crane is long enough to place this farther away from the miking point.

Okay for the price

I actually bought two of these with a friend. I got the better one as my friends stand had all it's screws stripped almost instantaneously and the whole stand almost broke. Mine has lasted to this day which is amazing considering how unreliable the other one was.

So you might want to be careful with this one and don't hold your hopes too high up. You get what you pay for. But if you do get lucky, this stand works great and is no worse or better than other stands a big higher up in the price scales. So, get this or don't. It's not bad for the price.

worth it, just don't treat it badly

Metal parts are durable, plastic ones not so. So make sure you don't mistreat it and it will last a long time. Open the locks before adjusting to avoid undue breakage.

Great value

This a very sturdy stand. with many budget mic stands it's often diffcult to tighten the joints and they often droop when heavier mics are attached. This however stays strong. It's easy to extend all the various parts and makes mic placement very easy.

Pretty good

This stand is pretty good for recording/micing a kick drum. It's not perfect but is pretty good for the money. I still use it often

Short mic stand

I use this stand to mic kick drum, snare and sometimes guitar cab and I have no problems with it whatsoever. It is made out of metal and plastic for the screw tops and has lasted for a couple of years so far. Recommended.

Amazing. Great for using on amps and kick drums, fairly sturdy.

good purchase

I bought a few of these stands as workhorses for my studio, they are sturdy and lock together nicely, the telescopic arm doesn't slip, they are simple and work exactly as desired. Lots of the fixings are plastic so might start waring over time but a few months in i haven't had any problems with them. My only minor niggle would be the 'millenium' label is stickered on not painted; i know this is a very small aspect but none the less it would finish a lot nicer and look a lot more professional.

Tall Mic Stand

Built to look exactly as the K&M one. I wouldn't be surprised if it were built in the same factory - K&M parts are usable on these. Provided you look after it, as will all mic stands - especially cheap ones, it'll do the job fine. I'm looking at buying more for pub gigs - £10 stand is easier to replace if it gets nicked than a £45 one!
