Great Budget Stand

We bought a whole bunch of these to use on an orchestra and the worked out great.

On these lower down models, we used them on the kick drum, cello, snare drum and guitar amps.

They can be slightly wobbly when at full extension, so not idea for a heavy studio microphone, but a great solution for live events.

Good short stand for bass drum and amps

Not the most robust of stands but better than some and fine for what it is used for. I can happily state that great as a mic stand for my 6 year old! So primary schools might find them useful too.

Nice stand

I use this mic stand for indoor interviews. It has a very little form factor so I can leave my shotgun mic out of frame. Very lightweight so it's easy to carry around.

A good low-end stand

Using this stand to mount a stereo set of small diaphragm condenser microphones.

The stand is relatively well built and the size is good for what it is.

Will suit well to mic up base drums, guitar/bass cabinets.

In its low position very stable but if put in the highest position, the stability is sub par, so would not recommend for miking up anything above 40cm from the ground.

Good value for money considering.

Handy Stand

Hi, got three of these handy little mike stands for my studio.

They are quite good for the price, can handle the wheight of the Beta52 or AkG 112 easily.

They are sturdy stands that I use to mike guitar cabs or drum sets.

Searching for a cheap guitar amp mic stand.

In my search for a decent, yet cheap mic stand to use for guitar amps I came across this millenium stand.

I read some mixed reviews about the stand's stability but for the price I figured it would be worth the gamble.

On arrival it kinda surprised me because I think the quality is actually really good for the price. It feels sturdy enough for me.

(note that I dont use it professionally)

Maybe if you will use it on a daily base you're better off buying a more expensive K&m or something alike. Because you may tire the joints, but I think it will be just fine.

As far as it goes for the microphone stability: I tested it with a SM57 and a MXL990 large diapraghm condenser and it was very able to hold the microphones weight.

Versatile

Great finish. It is quite durable and robust to endure daily studio use and the demands of gigging. In my case I use it to record any type of instruments thanks to its size. Great to use it to record drums.

Great stands for micing guitar amps

Perfect little stand for micing guitar amps or maybe even for short people. Nothing fancy but the tripod base feels sturdy enough to extend the mic boom fully without the unit tipping over with the weight of a heavy mic attached. Would certainly buy this product again for this particular use.

Good Stand

Good and small mic stand you can use for a snare or a bass drum as well as bongoes.

Good stability with a decent build. Easy to set up and regulate according to your requirements.

I would definitely buy a couple more for live a studio purposes.

Good as any mic's stand

I had two of these mic stands. I used every time I had the ocasion. Is good as any mic stand. If you don't stress the parts too much, you will have this forever. Guarantee!:)

Cheap, does the job

Holds mics where they were put, every time.

Survives being put up & packed away by musicians as well as new crew & drunk helpers.

Looks ok, easy to use.

Not perfect but very good.

It is a stable stand, it is necessary to make some force to tighten for the microphone not move with the vibrations. I use along with a AKG D40. it is not the best support because of that, but for the price it does the job. One point I really like is that I can use the microphone in any position easily due to the djustment dynamics of the stand.

Nice little stand

Quality is ok, for the price it's very good and usable stand. It fits for snare drum or flour tom very well.

Does what it says!

This short mic stand has been ideal for Bass Drum use and for use with Guitar amps on stage. Build quality is fine and has stood up to life on the road. All aspects of stand still work after several years and still lots of life left in this stand, great value for money

After 4 years of mild use still holding up well!!

Very pleased with this low value microphone stand.

Though I feel the screws having loosen a little bit, i still holds up pretty well and once tightened, doesn't move at all.

Does what it is supposed to

I admit it, when it comes down to pieces of gear that aren't fancy mics, amps or guitars... I'm a total cheap skate.

And that's where the Millenium MS-2002 mic stand came in.

I use it to mic up my amp for recording - and it's perfect for that. It provides for all the necessary adjustments to mic up a speaker cabinet appriopriately.

For studio applications, it is stable enough. In fact it is of remarkably high quality considering the price. I was half way expecting to send it back and having to spend a little more for a higher grade stand. I did not.

When used in live applications regularly, I don't know how long it woud hold up. It seems fairly sturdy and should last for quite a few gigs, but at this price? Pffft... even if it should break eventually, you could get a new one without your bank account even feeling the blow.

So if you need to mic up your amp for any purpose, go for it. You can't go wrong with this piece of kit.
