A great item

We use these as a stand for our revolving lights (our little gimmick) on stage. They need to be steady which these certainly are.

The base is heavy enough so that it doesn't topple over quickly. It is very road worthy and can be dis/assembled rapidly.

No cons and at this price you cannot go wrong.

Nice choice for the price

Very good price/quality ratio. Feels solid, takes very little space to stand on.

Don't expect too much

For the money it is ok, but sturdiness and stability not like the Gravity or K&M stands. Not for on the road use. Please note use felt feet if you place it on wooden floors as the rubbers may leave a mark on the floor as mentioned in the instructions for use. Also, as the foot is not so wide, it easily falls over. Not recommended

Inconspicuous stand

We use three of these for our singers in a soul band and they definitely look better than boom mic stands or stands with tripod bases. The cast iron bases really are heavy though so when I have three of them in a bag you really notice it. I guess this is needed to stop them from toppling over. These seem well made and I haven't encountered any problems yet.

Very sturdy and stable design. Budget friendly

Not as sturdy as it could be.

I use the stand for studio recording and for that, it does work ok. It is very good value but I do find that if you place anything other than a single mic on the stand it has a tendancy to topple (for example you can't really fit a pop-shield without some wobble!).

If all you need is a cheap and cheerful single mic stand, then this is just that - just don't overload it.

An unexpensive option

It does it's job, but don't expect the sturdiness or the stability of other brands. As others have mentioned, you need to hold the mic with one hand to release the regulation, or it will fall on your hand quickly.

Knowing it's limitations, a good purchase.

stability is problem, but if you don't push the stand, it will definetly do it's purpose.

Decent

I was looking for a stand to put inside my wardrobe, which I was transforming into a vocal booth. So this was a good buy because it would occupy pretty much less space than any other tripod stands.

In fact, it does the job but the quality is not so good. After a while the middle piece that holds the top of the stand became loose, I ended up to use some tape to make it hold.

If you don't mind about that, go for it. It is pretty cheap so you end up not to lose anything. When the time comes, use some tape!

great mic stand

it doesn't take up much space and very sturdy bottom, all in all great mic stand to have in its price range.

Decent cheao microphone stand.

Not as solid and sturdy as the Hercules which is in a league of its own. Not as easy to raise and lower but if its cheap and cheerful you want. This will do just fine.

Good for the money!

The base isn't heavy enough wich makes the stand wobble a little bit! Only contacts the floor on 3 point wich again makes it wobbly.

Good low budget stand

I use them for church choir with lots of singer. I've been using classic stands with three legs but lots of people walking around those stand means that someone will step on stand leg and every couple week one stand is damaged. With mic stand with base those problems are solved and they use less space than classic stands with legs.

Assembly is quick and fast, base look nice and is made of cast steel so it have enough weight.

I would definitlely recomend those stand for "on the budget" choirs and band with lots of singers.
