Millenium MS 2004 Reviews
Good budget stand
I use this stand as a permanent stand for my condensator in my studio so it's easy for me to start recording. It feels very stable and the cast iron base takes up very little space while providing the stability I need.
I've had this stand for about three years now and I still use it to this day. A Very good budget alternative to the more expensive brands.
nice little affordable straight stand
base feels nice and heavy. reasonably stable. I filled the upper part of the stand with sand as i found it resonated through the mic leading to unwanted feedback.
I wish it looked a bit more "retro".
Maybe a chrome version soon ?
Setting the STANDard
A very sturdy, reliable and easy to use microphone stand that represents great value for money. Since purchasing, this has been used 2-3 times a week and delivers every time despite some rough treatment - great value for the price.
Straight Mic Stand
Good quality stand, easy to handle.
Robust, heavy duty.
thanks
Great value for money - does the job very well.
I've had this Mic stand for almost 4 years now and it has served me very well. I prefer this heavy base type stand to the tripod boom stands. Being a solo singer that doesn't play an instrument, I find the stand a big part of my act. You can easily unscrew the base if you need to pack the whole thing into a bag, or in my case (I've a very long gig bag) it fits directly in the bag. Get it, you won't be disappointed. Great for studio use too.
Much sturdier!
These are much sturdier than the boom stands although the adjuster screw feels flimsy. I've had this holding some pretty heavy large diaphragm mics and it seems to have handled well!
good mic stand
Very good mic stand with a small and solid round base. just what i needed for my basement because other mic stands just take too much space. if you are taller than 1,85m i would look for another stand, but up to this height it works great and i never knocked it over till now.
Round Base Mic Stand
I bought this round base microphone stand for stage use and have since bought a number as especially musical theatre and cabaret events can see the benefits of an astetically pleasing option for a mic stand. The metal base of a good weight and build making it structurally good however the paint chipped off very quickly and easily making the long term appearance less brilliant.
Decent mic stand
I read lots of different opinions about the Millenium stands. Lots of people where complaining about the quality of the boom stands, other said that they where good value stands. So I got a simple straight one. It does what it should pretty well, it feels pretty sturdy and is mostly working well. It can fall down pretty easily though, and it is a bit to much plastic for my taste.
Great value for the price
This stand has great value for the price. The only complaint is that it could have a slightly wider base for some increased stability but overall I've had no issues with this stand.
Study!
Sturdy but nearly lost a finger trying to loosen it, use gloves!
about a...
This is a good price performance choice for lead singers. Speaking about stability, in my case there is a bit geometrical defect in base. In other hand, there is only one plastic detail, which is not fragile. In conclusion it is made for long time use.
Great, hard wearing mice stand.
This is a great microphone stand with a nice heavy base. I've been gigging every weekend with it for the last year and have had no problems with it. It's hard wearing and durable.
Think what you'll need it for
I bought this without thinking. Great for a dynamic mic, not great for a condenser and cradle and especially not great for a reflection shield in addition to the above.
Mic Stand
Very good and well made mic stand. Nice small foot area to give you more space to move on stage. The base is nice and heavy and does not tilt.
Good compact stand
Great stand for small spaces,
Mic stand is sturdy and weighted very well
Great price
Really good!
I bought this mic stand so that I could record vocals with the mic being comfortably placed. It works a treat and the bass is nicely weighted so it makes it a lot harder to knock over. However when you have a condenser mic, pop shield and acoustic screen whilst the stand is up quite high it is pretty unstable. Apart from that good buy.
Great little mike stand if you have limited space
I use it in my rehearsal room. Makes it less cluttered. But I am so used to it now that I am thinking of taking it to gigs too, so I always have my own mike stand with me.
