Good one!

It looks cool, it's convenient to use and to carry.

Good mic stand

For the money this stand is great. I've been using it for several years now and I can see it lasting a whole lot more!

My only criticism of the stand is the tendency for the main arm to loosen from the base over time...but that's being picky and wouldn't put me off purchasing another.

I bought this microphone stand because it takes up little space on stage .

It's stable due to heavy base and is easy to install. Stand is a good quality for such a low price and ideal for singers!

One of the best mic-stands Millenium has to offer.

After the below average stand I got from Millenium, the MS-2005, I was worried this mic stand would follow the same pattern, however, this is not the case.

Pros:

-Easy to use, like all mic-stands should be.

-Great adaptability for a lot of different microphones.

-Amazingly stable, thanks to the metal round base, one of the best features it has to offer.

Cons:

-Doesn't extend horizontally, meaning you can't use it for rigging anything for recording unless you put your amp or anything else on top of a table.

Overall, if you want something to use for voice, this is the perfect microphone stand, and for the price it's very affordable. I highly reccomend getting this.

used with a 60's retro mic

I use this stand with my 60's retro microphone the stabilty is great to use well worth the money i spent

Stable and inexpensive

Stable and inexpensive. All I need.

Cheap and usable

I use these for mounting Genelec 8020 monitors. They're strong, have heavy bases and are therefore stable and do the job perfectly. Great for the money.

Good but not perfect

I bought this stand because doesn't have too many hands and takes really little space on stage. I use it for micing accordiong, so I don't need it to be any higher, and with additional hands.

Pros:

- it is really cheap, but still helps me a lot when playing on stage, especially as it doesn't have long legs on the bottom, but has round base instead.

- having so only one screwing place, makes you have no problems with those.

- maximum height range of 153cm is quite good.

Cons:

- this round base can sometimes be unstable even on solid ground. I wouldn't use it on not flat and solid ground.

- round base is quite heavy and big, so I have problems with putting it in carrying bag sometimes. Often I have to take pole off of round base, which can be time consuming.

Perfect for the rock god frontman/woman

Didn't want to be sexist there but you can swing it round its got a heavy but not too heavy base,strong construction had no problem threading the bar to the base as others reported. Take your time and you shouldn't thread it with all these type stands the bar will end up becoming loose but like someone else said a bit of loctite(permanent) or plumbers tape(non permanent) to keep that thread lasting longer. Can't see it falling apart anytime soon the thread is quite long and the construction is all metal. For 10 euro very cheap as well for something built this well.

Work ok, but threads were poor.

I bought four of these stands. They come disassembled (base unscrewed from the upright) and 2 of them wouldn't screw in fully - could get a few turns on them. Certainly enough turns to use the stand. But couldn't get the base to screw all the way on to the upright. Felt like the thread was blocked somehow. Haven't tried using tools yet to tighten it further as I need to regularly remove the bases for transport and don't want them getting stuck.

I used these for mounting very small (4") loudspeakers on top of and they were perfectly stable.

Base separates from stand

So I bought this a couple months ago not for performing live music but as a microphone stand to use with my computer. It rarely gets moved much. Somehow the threads at the end of the pole that attach it to the base have gone somewhat bare. This means that it rocks back and forth and the pole falls out completely sometimes.

I would advise buying something of a higher quality. If this did not survive being used at my desk it will certainly not for live gigs...

Review of Millenium MS-2004

Very good quality at a very low price. This part I can highly recommend. Could not be better.

We use the stand in the middle of our practice room to make a live record with one microphone. Plenty of space for it is not necessary, easy to handle.

Good Static stand

I bought this stand for my main studio vocal microphone and it does the job.

It is not going to be moved around, put up and down much so i wanted something solid.

The base is heavy enough and overall appears well made.

It is ideal.

good but

is good stand but if you want to put a tablet( I have a Samsung tab 12.2in) the stand is falling down, not much stability cos I buy this special for my mic and tablet.

A small but good solid base for a microphone stand

The Millenium MS-2004 is a good solid well constructed stand - it doesn't get in the way of my feet but it is heavy enough at the base for it to stay stable with the fairly light weight condenser microphones I use.

I was expecting the stand to be a lot less heavy and to be more unstable at such a good low price level.

The stand is easy to store when not being used as it's a small footprint for the base.

I'm in agreement with the positive ratings and reviews given to this product which encouraged me to get it.

I use it together with the K&M 23550 Microphone Stereo Bar to make dual microphone recordings and the two items work well together to give a safe secure place for the microphones.

Round base.

Great and handy, This easily handles a 1/2 boom (cut the boom down y'self), and I can stand closer to the mic w'out tripping over the usual 3 legs.

I play guitar too and have no problem with this mic & acoustic or electric guitar. Its a space saver for me with a sometimes 7 piece band on usually small stages.

I have a "Mic stand mounted monitor" (SRM 150) for bigger venues, this particular stand is a bit unstable with the monitor on top, so I keep my old folding 3 legged mic stand just for this, or there's usually a sound guy with floor monitors at bigger venues.

I always assemble this type of mic stand with "loctite" thread locker on the parts that need it, saves me chasing the mic round & round. "You must, please" super glue the little rubber feet into the Iron base, or they will fall out somewhere at a gig last week, lost forever & these stands are very susceptible to "stage rumble" & feedback without the rubber feet. Also being "unfoldable" & pretty heavy, other bands don't seem take them by mistake.

The round base rolls around in the back of my van if I lay it down, so I stand it upright on its rubber feet to avoid the rolling.

Bars, small venues, Massive concerts, this is great. I love mine and the comments "vintage mic stand" really do the trick.

Not bad for such price

This one is easy to handle, the view is also not as bad as it could be for such relatively low price. If you are not going to look at it from 0.5m distance, there is absolutely no difference compared with other models. I am not going to use it LIVE, but I have made several tests and found Millenium MS-2004 stable enough to do its job.

I am using this in my vocal booth and I like it. It holds Rode NT2-A with Popfilter without problems. However, I have not tried it with Boom-Arm (who needs it in vocal booth anyway?:)), perhaps it may cause some trouble.

In my opinion. the quality is ok (3 of 5), Although tt does not look like it is going to brake:)

Usable stand

For a limited space, budget and for use with mostly dynamic mics and light condenser setup at a home studio and in small parties this stand works really well. I prefer this in many ways over the much more expensive tripod with boom.

For a setup with reflection filter, heavy condenser or for need to mic high, would probably look for something else.

Planning to get one or two more of these in the near future.
