Awesome Mic Stand

This is a great mic - very stable and perfect for a static position. The base is a good weight and can be easily handled. The thread on the pole is good quality and screws into the base easily. The height adjustment is very good and the lock is secure. We current use the stand to support a powered monitor - which gives you an idea of how much weight this stand can bear. Overall, this is an excellent stand for the money.

Solid and dependable

I bought this item because I needed a mic stand suitable for holding a stereo pair of condenser mics , but with a compact footprint that wouldn't get in the way. It also had to be portable enough to be moved regularly.

This item ticks all those boxes for me, and I'm comfortable that I can place my mics on it without worrying that they'll move or fall over. The base is weighty enough to keep the stand securely in place, but is still able to be moved around relatively easily.

Would definitely recommend for discreet but secure mic mounting.

Sturdy stand base

I wanted a stand that didn't take too much room on the floor. I often play in small venues and the tripod type floor stand takes up too much room.

I use a boom type attachment on it and have never had any problems with it toppling over.

Good sturdy product

Brilliant for little satellite speakers

These have a microphone thread on the top.

It's basically like a mic stand without a boom arm or clutch on it.

The bases are heavy enough for it to feel sturdy and they beat standard hifi speaker stands because of the weight and rigidity, I noticed they did help stop vibrations passing through.

Their small size enables me to have a very compact DAW setup with the bases tucking neatly under the edge of the desk.

I have seen these used for genelecs, most of which have a mic stand mounting, but the adjustable height means they might also be usefully for mounting iPads or laptops onstage and without feet they don't get in the way and they get a lot less tangled with random cables.

Millenium MS-2004

As the price suggests, this is a poor quality stand. I cannot take much abuse and didnt last very long. The base is sturdy but the actual stand part was flimsy and broke quite easily. Having said that, we have a singer who likes to use his mic stand as a stage prop (not Bon Jovi style!!) but even so, it should stand up to a little more abuse.

Very good, solid built

Never had any problem with it. Really solid built, the bottom part is quite heavy. The paint job on it can take quite a lot of abuse before show any scratch. Also, the parts hold on together very well, you'll never have a falling microphone from it. Totally recommended.

Does the job

The stand is certainly good for it's price, it does the job it's meant for. The tightening/loosening mechanism is a bit fragile, after a couple of months of regular use it has become a bit of a nuisance but does work with a bit of fiddling!

You get what you pay for...

I did not get on with this stand. The handling noise is horrific but I am using it with a condenser mic, It is a pain to adjust the height, if you loosen it and do not hold the top section it will fall down... imagine doing that with a condenser.. BOOOM!! Not great, I have since bought a K&M 26200 Elegance and love it, but I cannot really compare the two due to the difference in price. This is a cheap and cheerful stand which offers good value.

Space saver

I got this to use in a place where people will be walking past as you are playing so there will be no legs sticking out for them to catch there foot on and it is perfect for this application. It is not the most stable mic stand as you would expect from the round base but it is well stable enough for live use as long as it isn't getting hit very hard. It is also brilliant for saving some floor space in a home studio

good stand

Its a good stand i wasnt expecting the base of the stand to be so heavy which was exactly what i was looking for , for an upcoming project, works perfectly for elvis style microphones, my superlux fits perfect on this stand opposed to the boom stands which can be tempermental when it comes to setting up the mic with the xlr.

Great mic stand as long as you're not tall

Good stand at a great price, only thing is it doesn't extend very high. I'm about 178cm at use it at maximum height so if you're much taller I wouldn't recommend it. Other than that, it's reasonably sturdy, the base is heavy enough however it will wobble a bit when knocked, it appears to be because of the way they've spaced the rubber feet, but not a huge deal so far.

I was looking for another extra mic stand for my home studio, so i decided to give it a go, it's really good, better value for the money.

It stands and holds a mike

This mike stand does everything you expect: it stands and can be attached a mike to.

The base is heavy and solid, ensuring a stable performance.

The plastic parts seem strong enough, but remember that they are just plastic.

The stand is probably not recommended for intense hard rock gig performances, but this is just an assumption. It is great for just standing there holding a microphone, however.

If you need a cheap single mike stand this product is definitely recommended.

Heavy, stable, cheap microphone stand

A cheap, heavy, reliable microphone stand.

The main selling points are its small footprint (no extendable legs, just a small, cast-iron disk) and it's simplicty (no forward folding parts.

That last thing might be a disadvantage if you want to close-mike someone who is playing sitting down - in that case you'll need a horizontal arm.

Great for a retro-looking microphone!

Simple, sturdy and easy to place

This is a simple sturdy microphone stand that due to its simplicity will last longer than many stands with boom-arm. Especially if you compare it to cheaper boomstands.

The ralatively small base plate makes placement easier too.

Sometimes simpler means better. Highly recommended

Neat little stand

It's always nice to have some stands with a small footprint, and these are great. They look smart, they are very stable, and they have plenty of weight. My only complaint is that the threaded hole in the base for the shaft of the stand isn't drilled very straight, so they don't line up all that well. Otherwise, OK.

Could be a little longer

This could be a little too light micstand to gig with, as I'm afraid the upper ironbar will bend if the going gets though, but suits fine with easy rehearsal purposes. I mught be wrong here, it could survive at the easygoing gigs, but punk/metal etc gigs are too much. The most major drawback is the length; a normal 180cm singer has to sing a little bit downwards, 10cm more and it would be fine.
