trs connection patch bay studio connection
great patchbay lets you connect loads on units up and connect n to them without rear access , can change individual bays out for alternative board ( available to buy ) for more wiring options.
need rack to mount it in
My first patch bay... Don't regret it.
I got it to be able to connect all my guitar pedals, amps and synths in my small studio. Zero regrets. It's a whole new level now.
For the price this is a steal to be honest.
Do note you'll need a lot of cables to interconnect everything.
Excellent product
This patchbay has loads of versatility and functionality. Other reviewers have suggested it should have switches for switching normalling modes but this would be a much worse feature because the circuitry needed for the switches causes noise. It takes a bit more time to set this up but it works better as a result.
This patchbay is perfectly silent and reliable in my setup.
Great for the price
Not much to say. Use it daily and it's strong and robust.
Cheap and work as intended
Its a cheap and perfect solution when you start to have a lot of sound sources and fx.
Really good options for grounding and normals
This products design was really well thought out. It gives you all the usual normal configurations that you would expect, what makes it different from other similar products is the ground isolation options. You might never need it ... but if you do, you?ll appreciate it. As for the quality of the connectors, I've been using it for a few months now with no problems. Time will tell.
Great patchbay!
Simple patchbay solution, with good quality jack sockets and easy options for normaling/ semi-normaling/isolating each channel simply by opening the unit and turning the channel card around. Neutrik also do a special card for this unit if you need to patch TRS send/return inserts.
Light, well built, quickly and easily reconfigurable as all conections are on TRS jacks.
Does the intended job
A budget TRS patchbay for home or project studios. Connections all solid so far and no earth issues. Fits in a typical 19" rack and is 1U tall. Worth the money if you are branching out into a hybrid set up with a DAW and some outboard gear.
I like it
Nice patchbay for the price
It does its job well
I use a few pieces of this unit in the studio. It's a simple yet powerful solution to quickly re-route outboards and everything else. Highly recommended.
One of the best to get.
I have three of them. At first, some jacks get used to getting harder. No noise, no lost One of the best to get
Quality Patch Bay hiding under a bargain price
Out of the box this patch bay has transformed the productivity and flexibility of my studio.
Using this with Cordial CFM 3,0 VV High Quality Audio Cable and two of the sssnake SPP8030 8-Way Multicore Jacks patching in an analogue Soundtracs Megas mixer to my UA Apollo system. Further to this I have routed monitor outs from the Apollo to provide for more monitor options. I can still select two monitors from the Apollo without re-patching as the patch bay is semi normalised from the start. Just patch for more alternative monitors.
This patch bay introduces no noise and is of a solid construction that can be re-configured with ease.
Can you tell I am pleased!
a cost-effective choice for patchbay
Patchbay is useful when you plug in or out cable frequently.I have Pro tools HD IO and different type of hardware effect,so I need a patchbay to route the signal easily.
Neutrik stands for its connector and socket, which is well-know in professional.Neutrik Rean NYS SPP-L1 offer a cost-effective price offering the same Neutrik's quality. The sound is nothing complaint about.Very clear and nice.No additional issue are added into the routed source.Long-time durable design makes you one investment, lifetime benefit.
Affordable and effective patching!
If you want to take control of the cable spaghetti invading your studio, a patchbay is the answer; and with bantam units costing too much for the casual muso, these quarter-inch jack units come into their own. I have four now, arranged as one big bay three deep and a subsidiary bay on the other side of the room to handle effects sends and returns.
The units come "semi-normalised", which means that a connection made at the top of the rear panel automatically feeds down to the connection made at the bottom of the rear panel even if no patch cord is inserted in the front to link them. This is handy if you have a bunch of connections that, typically, stay the same: you can link the stereo outputs of your main keyboard, say, to inputs 1 and 2 on your audio interface in a semi-permanent fashion. Sticking a patch cord into the front sockets on a semi-normalled connection breaks the link, though, allowing you to overrride your usual setup whenever you like: and this is how I've got most of my studio arranged.
There are some connections, though, where it's better to have things totally variable, without any normalisation; and the bay allows you to set this up by unscrewing its front panel and reversing some or all of the little individual socket cards. By reinstalling them in various different configurations you can have normalled or semi-normalled functionality, or even use them as Y-splitters (what you'd call Mults in modular-synth-speak), and this can be decided on a card-by-card basis across the whole 24 pairs of sockets. Once you've got your head around the possibilities it's very flexible indeed, though a bit of a faff to replace the front panel when you're done because the little cards end up reluctant to align with the punched holes in the panel strip. But you'll get there in the end. There's a handy guide to the various configuration options silkscreened onto the top of the unit, too, which is a bit of a lifesaver if all this normalled / semi-normalled stuff is unfamiliar territory (as it was to me...)
In all ? hugely useful in taming my studio cabling, and versatile enough to accommodate lots of routing options.
Top quality Patchbay
TRS balanced Rean connections. never had a problem
Great addition
The flexibility this piece of kit gives to the studio is really great. This unit allows to change connections very quickly. Time saver unit and avoids me to go around the table to reach to the rear of the rack equipment. I can simply plug a wire in this patch bay and avoid all toe work.
Do the job
Never had any problem with it, and never felt any cut down in quality. Exactly how i want. Definitely recommend them.
