Rean NYS SPP-L1 5-stars Reviews
Cautiously optimistic
I bought 2 of these units and now have about 80 of the combined 96 connections patched in, all working problem-free. My only beef is that it's maybe a bit too easy to pull out the rear connections and create problems that way. I was ready to return these with a scathing comment about how 10 of the cards weren't working, until I realised I'd accidentally pulled out a bunch of cables from the back. I was particularly worried about another review I read on here, regarding harmonic distortion occurring on signals above -19dBfs. I tested for this with a sine wave generator and found no distortion on any signals right up to 0dBfs. Hopefully it stays that way, as the other reviewer's units were 3 years old, and mine are brand new at the time of writing.
The end to cable mess
Enough of reconnecting half of the studio every time I need a change. Patch bay is convenient way to reorganise your signal path as needed. Good quality build, Neutrik ports are pretty solid.
Simple, cheap and does the job
Absolutely no problems with this patch bay. It is completely modular, so even if some of the channels fail, which is unlikely, you could buy single channel modules to replace them. Great device for the money!
Excellent patchbay, versatile and great connectivity
It's a patch bay
It's what I needed for more flexible routing options. It works well.
One thing I noticed is that the cables don't slide in that well, they need quite a bit of a push.
Overall a great unit.
Perfect if you don't use it a lot
This is perfect for a "non-intense" use, versatile and good looking
Sturdy
I have had this patchbay in my studio for several years now and it still works well. The connectors are a bit hard to use, but they are durable and have held up well over time. In this price range, I think it is the best you can buy. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.
Top Quality
I will be getting another one of these
Easy to use
Does what it's meant to do! Not much more to say other than that it feels like it has an overall good build quality.
Great
Great patch panel for the money. Switching is native and is great for professional use.
Does what it should, very well.
Gets the job done, you can configure it to your liking, great value for money. Definitely the go-to trs patchbay for me.
A helpful studio item
I use it every day in my studio and I love it!
Solid piece of gear!
Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. You simply can’t go wrong with this unit. I own several of these and can say they definitely serve their purpose!
best home studio patch bay
I bought two of them , I think that it is the best choice for the price.
I ' d really love to see one more feature though even if it would increase the price for 10-20eu more. normal half normal switches
definitely will buy again for the next rack
simple from first glance, yet functional after learning - provides wide range of commutation and grounding
The best
I have 4 of these. A great feature is if you send a mono source into the top, it sums it to the bottom as well, this is fantastic for so many reasons. I love the simple design and it's solid.
a good patchbay for the price.
Does what you expect it to do. Nothing fancy.
Perfect value for the price
Using it on my home studio. Inputs/outputs from audio interface, compressors etc. Before buying was afraid about quality of the connectors. I am using it for 10-20 switches operation on the week.
Serious plus of this device is regular jack... you can use mono or stereo - it will for for you with your favourite cables!
Thanks!
A good solid petch bay
Essential item. good quality build is a must for something that you use every 5 minutes
Very well built.. Great value for money.
