Great drumhead

Excellent drumhead, with 2 different textures/sounds.

The coat

Great sounding coat. There are better ones though.

Great

Sound almost like a regular ambassador but gets rid of those low overtones that make the snare sound like a trash can. I like to use this on medium to high tunings because I don't even need to muffle it, it only lets out the good sounding overtones.

Geweldige snare head

Goede kwaliteit, lastig om doorheen te slaan. Geweldig geluid.

not sure if they are made tougher or my aim with that dot is just better ??

love the coated black dot... there is nothing more to say... well it lasts a long time... and it is easy to tune... and all around a great head...

Great Cutting sound with a tiny Setback

This head is Absolutely incredible, it gives you a very focused sound with moderate control (especially on a high tuned snare) it also sounds decent when played with brushes, tho not as smooth as a Regular Ambassador head, the only problem that I faced with this head is that fact that although it’s controlled, there are still some strange overtones, not as much as an Ambassador but somehow nastier, I’ve tried everything I can (matching lugs, using drum dial etc..) and the only thing that seemed to work was muffling and a specific tuning, if you stray too far from the heads “ sweet spot” you might get those nasty overtones, I personally find it hard to tune to that specific tone but it comes down to your tuning skills, the type of drum and even the acoustics of the room, with that being said, it’s still a very high quality snare head.

Great all around drumhead

I have this head on my 14"x6.5" Tama Superstar maple snare and it really brings its best tones out like no other head I've used. Can definitely recommend. Suitable for most styles.

Love it!

Very durable. Controlled sound. No problems with it.

Good to dampen ringy snares.

Durable and great sounding

This is a versatile drumhead. I used it for years and tried quite a number of different drumheads on snare, but it I always return to CS

Great head

I gave 4 star because 5 is for ambassador coated only! Anyway I'm not repented, I use it on my supraphonic and it's a great combination. Highly recommended!

Remo, enough said. The D'Addario for drummers.

Classic snare drum head

Simple a classic, you cannot go wrong with this one. Still has a fair amount of overtones despite the reverse dot, so some mild muffling might be necessary (I have a piece of duct tape on it).

Durability and resonance at its finest

Hard to look past this head for snare. In my opinion, Remo offer durability that is hard to find with other head manufacturers. The dot also allows for controlled snare sound and also cracking rim shots.
