Rode Procaster 5-stars Reviews
Gorgeous microphone and amazing sound quality
Maybe the best dynamic at this price range. I can argue that the Podcaster might be a bit better in terms of what you get for the money, but if you got the extra cash, this one is a clear winner.
Rode Procaster
This product is awesome.
Great mic for broadcasting
I was using a large diapraghm condenser mic before for broadcasting and teleconferencing, but as condeser mic it was picking up all the background noise.
Bought this mic together with RODECaster Pro II which has specific settings and processing onboard.
Great sound and looks like it is build like a tank. Only thing that is minor hinderence is that you cannot remove it from stand without unscrewing it.
Excellent mic, but requires some boost
Great mic, excellent voice quality, but a bit low on the volume, so it requires some boost - either real time or post production.
Simple, Plug & Record
Got it out of the package, plugged it in, turned up the microphone volume, and it's ready for recording. I don't think it could be any simpler even if they tried.
Great bang for the buck
I've bought the ProCaster about 3 years ago and so far I have absolutely no complaints.
The mic is not only great for podcasts, gaming, singing, but it's also built like a tank, so you don't have to worry about dropping it or it getting roughed up any time soon.
Sound and build quality is just amazing for the price this mic comes at, an absolute must have for beginners starting their podcasts / streaming career in noisier enviroments. This mic does an amazing job at filtering out backround noise, and is still sensitive enough to pick up every spoken word.
Solid
I'm not a microphone connoisseur, and I know the vast majority of what you might want from a microphone is subjective, but I found this mic very suitable for my voice, and I think I prefer its sound to Shure SM58, and some condenser mics.
Great sound and value
Love this mic, I use it every day and it delivers a lovely tone. Great build quality and weight.
Love is a strong word, but it's justified
I love this mic. Of all the podcasting gear I've bought, I feel this has been the best investment. I spent a little more money to buy the procaster and after many months of use I am incredibly satisfied. The sound quality is exactly what I hoped for, the mic feels so sturdy that I could use it as a weapon and it would still work, and its simplicity makes it perfect.
Solid like a hammer
Pros:
Bassy/comfy sound right out of the mic
Very good solid design
Best for its price
Cons:
Problems with plosives
Spectacular!
Best dynamic mic for the money. You cannot go wrong!
Dinamic Mic
It is so good for recording with unisolated area or even open one,
You can provide a very good quality sound from it even for podcast or any talking recording
Pretty good
Sound is more on the low end (which isn't a bad thing) and the outside durability is excellent.
A wondeful microphone
Probably the best microphone I used, sounds AMAZING, looks good, does the job. I use it for podcasting and sounds amazing, zero complaints!
awesomeness
this mic is heavy and just rigid. the sound is perfect as it sits below the 16K mark. The large membrane picks up enough to get a rounded sound. Close mic-ing is no problem and your details will be clear and clean. It does need a good pre-amp. Don't be afraid to lift up that signal. I just love this mic. i have bought TWO of them now lol
A great alternative to the Sure SM7B for half the price
I use it for VO work, podcasts, and radio production.
Nice full-bodied sound and a smooth top end that responds nicely to high frequency boosts in post-production.
I strongly recommend purchasing the Rode WS2 Filter with this as the internal pop filter is not great. However, paired with the WS2 it is excellent.
Best mic for it's price
I'd only change this mic for a Shure SM7B, for the price it is, IT'S THE BEST SOUNDING with the right settings on your amplifier. 10/10
Amazing Mic
This is really top class, sounds amazing looks amazing. I use it for a weekly house music radio show.
Perfect overall
Great sound and absolutely great in every aspect. The built-in pop filter is better than I had anticipated based on reviews I have seen, but that does depend on one's mic technique and positioning.
A bit heavier and bigger than I originally anticipated, but not an issue per se.
it is very create microphone
I would like to buy another one . because it is create for podcasting program .
