Conrad Götz Heritage Audition 98 Violin

Based on 3 reviews
A violin with personality is how I'd describe this violin. For beginners and seasoned pros I couldn't recommend a better violin, it's light to hold, feels well made and the sound though not deafening is full-bodied, warm and clear! The strings are soft to the touch and the Wittner pegs make tuning this violin a cinch! I only have one criticism of this violin and I am being nitpicky the end pin on the violin is a bit ugly and looks cheap but any luthier can change that! Apart from that I can't fault it, it makes any player of any level sound respectable and my regular practice instrument is a Stentor Conservatoire II and this Conrad Götz Audition violin sounds infinitely better!
Otto Jos. Klier 125-BR Jubilee Violin 4/4

Buying a violin is a serious decision that a beginner or advanced violinist can make because it is an expensive investment. And to an untrained eye, violins may look alike but in reality, there are various types of violin in terms of size, quality, make, and sizes. Based on function, sound quality and value, this is a great instrument. Do other violins sound better - of course. Are other violins easier to play - of course. Can you get better sound and ease of play in other violins at this price - definitely not. It was a gamble for me since I bought it online without trying it out, but I am quite satisfied with the purchase of this German made violin.
Klaus Heffler No. 6/0 SE Orch. Violin 4/4

? Summary: a good intermediate violin: fits exactly my needs and price possibilities. ? Pro: easy to use: o Easy to tune, using the pegs as well as the fine tuners (this is truly critical) o Just right string pressure on left hand (for me at least) o Feels good in my hands o Good response ? Cons: o Sound is not as crisp as I like o Does not come with Dominant strings as indicated originally. Strings are good though. For a student at a certain point a beginner violin will limit your capability of progression (this may be true for the bow as well, and you may consider different strings and rosin. Anyhow I needed to get a new violin in the range of some 750-800¤. My main goal was thus to get a violin on which I could develop e.g. vibrato and staccato. Of course more expensive violin...
Yamaha V5 SC44 Violin 4/4

As a complete violin beginner with a reasonably trained ear, I decided on this one to have my first go a a violin family instrument. I generally find the sound of beginner and intermediate instruments somewhere between uninteresting and painful, and was expecting to have to pay a lot more for something I could put up with, but this one sounds significantly more balanced and "musical" than any others in the price range, so that was an easy decision. Most important for the beginner: From the perspective of a complete beginner, the instrument seemed well set up and easy to play out of the box. Both tuning pegs and finetuners work great, and the violin stays in tune very well, as long as temperature and humidity is reasonably stable. A year and a half, countless practice hours, a...
Karl Höfner H115-GG-V 4/4 Violin

A very good one. Brand new, well varnished and beautiful body. The sound is very solid, excellent echo in a concert or recording room. The wood colour is light and shining, less feeling of antique for me. Well set screws for fine tuning for E string, the pegs are great to use as well. One thing need to note is, the violin that I received DOES have its chinrest with, whereas there is no chinrest in the preview picture. I am happy with the chinrest and it is comfortable for me. This one is my updated violin finally get rid of that cheap one. A great instrument can bring me self-confidence and something more than music itself. I struggled in my mind when I haven?t decided which violin would be the perfect one for me, until I chose Hofner and it didn't let me down. I think the strings need...

I am not a musician, but my doughter's teacher several times told me something like this "such a good violin your doughter has". Besides my doughter took part in 5 or 7 contests during our first year of using this violin and everytime on every contest there was somebody who would ask "Where did you get this wondeful instrument?". This accompanied with opinion of my doughter's teacher led me to conclusion that I chose the very right instrument for 11 year old musician and this instrument will be enough for her to finish musical school and maybe even first years of musical college.
Yamaha V 20 G Violin 4/4

TLDR: This violin worths every cent you pay for. Very good sound and looks beautiful and great handling. Long Version: I was looking for the best violin for sub 2000¤ category. I have been to a few music shops and local luthiers where I tried a few violins. Out of all of them, this Yamaha violin worked better for me...it even sounded better and handled easier than one violin that I tried (priced at the 3k range). This violin sounds beautiful. It is a huge upgrade to my first violin and makes me to practice more just for the nice sound of it. It is very light thanks to boxwood accessories and the oil varnish looks beautiful and shiny. Just a side note: because of storage time...I think the dominant strings that were on the violin by factory had lost their tone...I changed the string...
Rainer W. Leonhardt No. 110/1 Master Violin 4/4

Based on 1 reviews
This is my very first brand new violin. I have always had school, antique and second hand violins and although I have never had a problem with these I wanted something bold, bright and reliable for traditional folk fiddle playing. Older instruments do have their good points but tend to be somewhat quieter (even with brighter strings) and more temperamental with changes in the weather. This fiddle fits the bill perfectly. It speaks well, with a clear bold but smooth tone and feels comfortable and easy to play. Despite the variable humidity and fluctuating winter temperatures in the last 2 weeks here in Portugal this instrument has kept its tuning from the first day. I was a little doubtful about the varnish and accessories which for me are a little flashier than I am used to but the...
Franz Sandner Master de luxe Stradivari

Based on 1 reviews
I was looking for a level up violin after many years with my great grandfather’s hand-me-down from a century ago. Stumbled across this one which ticked all my boxes: boxwood accessories, stradivari model, heart-shaped pegs. To be honest the picture on the website is a bit far off - but I gotta say I am very positively surprised by the actual violin. The one I received has darker color than the picture, somewhere in between reddish and brownish color. The front also has a bit flaming going on, making the color mercurial and ever changing under different lighting. The flaming on the back is good but not dramatic, matches the well with the subdued color scheme. As for the sound, I think it’s worthy of the “Master” categorization. All four string is balanced in volume...
Stentor SR1500 Violin Student II 4/4

Based on 32 reviews
This violin was recommended by online teachers and students alike, and for the few extra pounds, its worth getting the student 2 over the student 1. I also spruced mine up with a set of dominant strings, but its honestly not necessary and plays great with the standard strings it ships with. It is important to understand that in order to learn, progress and advance as a student violinist, you need your instrument to be able to sing for you - if you are fighting with your instrument to make it sound somewhat like it should (tuning every session or non resonant sounds on certain scales) then it will be difficult to progress - this violin won't fail you, and instead you can work on what YOU are doing wrong instead of figuring out what's wrong with your violin. Don't make the same mistake...
