I purchased this mic as part of a larger order for my local church which also included a U508 receiver, bodypack and headset mic. We run this through an LD Systems Maui 5. I have to say this is a very fine microphone. The weight is good without being too heavy, the sound is crystal clear and reasonably full and neutral. I also love the option to change mic heads depending on your purpose. The only slight nag I have with it is a short delay when you first switch on. Otherwise, this is a brilliant microphone.

I love the build quality on this range, it truly is a PRO range of products. I will however say I am in no way musical and cannot test this on a guitar. I use this unit as a transmitter to set a battery powered speaker up completely wirelessly. The range far exceeds my requirement of 120 metres, the battery life outlasts the 6 hour event length. The guutar cable allows connection to an aux send on my mixer, and the belt clip allows mounting the pack above body height on a custom bracket on a mic stand to allow for true unobstructed operation. This transmitter successfully relays audio to multiple receivers for a multi speaker setups.

In total I have 16 Mic systems units between frequencies B and C, but unfortunately it is impossible to get those frequencies in places in America, because they are "forbidden"; and although there are some units left in my country, they are not the newest and cost about twice as much. I never thought that in a German company, I was not only going to find what I needed, but completely new units, and it was SO SIMPLE and fast that they sent it to me in Central America... Now, I can rest assured that the original investment I will not have to change it completely, and I can continue using it for a long time, updating components...

Great convenient solution for a home wireless setup. It turns it’s self on and back off when finished. What’s better? 😆 Not suitable for gigging use but I didn’t expect a product of this type/price to be. Signal cuts out momentarily every so often for no particularly obvious reason but for playing at home not an issue. The ease of use is the best feature but be warned the battery will drain even without use. Again this type of device I would expect this. If this sounds negative it’s not meant to. I’d buy again. Fab little device. 👍🏻 🎶

Our band uses G50 and G90 systems - we can't afford the really high end systems yet but having used some of the lower quality entry systems we just wouldn't trust them on stage. The line 6 systems seem like a great mid point. The G30 is a bit too plastic but the G50 and G90 are good enough for pro use. We needed several guitars and basses for quick changes so bought several of these transmitters to leave on each instrument. Each has 12 channels and is very easy to use - with an on and off that is recessed so you don't accidentally turn it off. Similarly there's a mute button. The newer units handle two banks called rf1 or rf2 - one is better for use around wireless systems that are essential (good for Home) or one set that will defeat wifi without sharing - this usually doesn't...

I purchased this additional hand held to compliment the lapel system and another hand held system I have used all summer .. These systems work in the same way as another well know brand work, quick sync the units, balanced output, takes AA battery's, lock handset and comes with rack ears, but at a fraction of the costed of Senn..... I used this system with a matching system in a 2u rack at 3 carnivals this summer, were the presenter was walking about the field making all the announcements but keeping in sight of the receiver that was places at the front edge of the stage and had a strong signal around 20 metres distance, Indoors it can be placed at the mix position of 30 metres approx without any problems .. if set at monitor mix position there are no problems at all, I will be buying...

Bought this on a whim as I already had the correct receivers. Wasn't expecting much and what I got was much better than expected! The mic is built well, metal casing, it feels good to hold. It's quite a long mic, looks longer than sennhiesser equivalents. Pairing the mic with the receiver is easy. The mic sounds good, with a little EQ it's just as good as any other wireless mic I've used (for speech that is). It came in a cardboard box only with the mic shrink wrapped and bubble wrapped, no case or even padded bag for it but for the price you get what you pay for. So far super happy with it, only tested at home, first event is in a few weeks time.

This transmitter was purchased to take advantage of an existing Line6 Relay G30, to accommodate a second guitar. The G30 works flawlessly and this extra Tx just slots right in there. I have seen reports complaining that the plastic battery door is too flimsy and breaks off. Yes it is delicate. I do not attach it to the strap with only the belt clip, I use a wide elasticated strap in addition which also covers the battery door. This plasticky problem extends to the small buttons that secure the belt clip. You barely have to even LOOK at them and they break off. I might have chosen the slightly more robust G50 relay, if it did not have that stupid connector on the transmitter and the awkward external antennae on the receiver.
