Classic Microphone

When I was younger and knew nothing about mics and recording and setting live stages I kept seeing this mic everywhere, every professional sound engineer had at least 5-6 of those around. Now that I'm more experienced I know why.

This mic is a true workhorse and will do a very satisfying job no matter where you set it, but it especially likes guitar amps and drum snares. I've used it mainly for recording guitars at home and it always delivers. with clarity and warmth and an even round sound, everything I hope to get out of my setup I get effortlessly by using this microphone. Even when I try recording with another mic I also have this one on too. Live I've used it for guitars and also for vocals with success every time. I also have the Shure A2WS matching windscreen and the bag is also a nice add-on.

It's also worth mentioning that this mic will just not die no matter what you do to it. Mine has been dropped from 10 meters high, stepped on, thrown at a wall, had guitar cabinets accidentally set their full weight on it, etc. and it only had one bad-ass scar to show. This mic is rock'n'roll.

Solid microphone for recording bass and guitar

Have been using this to record my amps for over a year now, and I couldn't be more happy with the sound. Used in conjunction with other microphones might be a great idea, as this being a dynamic, you're less likely to have phase issues with this.

A studio must have.

There's a reason for virtually every studio everywhere to have a bunch of this hanging arround for the past fifty years . They're cheep, versatile, resistent and well built.

You can use one of this in studio conditions on snares and drums all arround (there's people that even use them on bass drums), guitar cabinets from funk to metal.

Even in live conditions this are great for vocals.

if you what to record a snare drum just throw one SM57 and you wont be desapointed by the result

Brilliant for guitar amps

I bought this microphone as it's the industry standard professional- class microphone for recording guitar amps. I love it. It is excellent at mid- frequencies and also can be used as a microphone for snare drums. I wouldn't be without it and would buy again any time.

My new Shure SM57 LC

I bought the legendary Shure SM57 LC microphone in the arsenal. I apply to removal of a sound from a guitar office of Laney Cub R12 and a snare drum. In details fulfills frequencies in the average and high middle. On an input it is heavy to overload the microphone. Very well in case of shock and biting sounds. For complete sounding in addition I use the condenser microphone.

In case of the small sizes it is weighty and executed from the strong casing and surely fastens with the holder who goes in a set.

In practice I assured myself an excellent working horse. It was pleasant to me.

In the short term to acquire one more microphone.
