The best mic on snare

There is no better budget microphone, on snare than this.

Go to budget microphone

Little to say other than that this is a necessary microphone to have if your starting out and working on a budget. Light weight, durable and great sound.

Solid, Sturdy, Legendary.

What can you say about SM57? It's a good work horse, I can definitely recommend getting at least one. It's built like a tank. Sound characteristics are pretty well-known, so I won't be diving much into them. For any home studio it's a must. Also came with small leather "case" (can't find a better word) for easier carrying. Honestly, just get one of these, but if you're on a budget, you should also check out t.bone microphones, they're cheaper and provide similar, if not better, sound characteristics.

This is Shure SM57)

No surprises. It's good. Exactly what I expected. I bought it for guitar recording. Good purchase 👌🏾

Versatile mic, great for electric guitar cabs

The SM57 is a classic mic, especially (in my opinion) for live and even studio use on guitar cabs like Marshall 4x12s. I like to use other mics as well for recording, but the SM57 has its place even in a studio.

The best instrument recording.

I use this for my electric guitar, recording through a PRS MT15 amp and Palmer 1x12 V30 cabinet. Amazing job.

What can you say for this mic that has not been said. Stable for snare and electric guitars for me for the last 17 years.

The mighty SM57

I mean, do I have to get started with this mic?

This is the industrial standard. This microphone has been used on pretty much every classic record, and still is used today. It just works on any instrument and any amp. Just a wonderful mic and easy to use.

Apsolute hero!

Good for recording homemade sounds

I use the SM57 to record percussive sounds in my house, and they just work great with it.

I know they're made specifically for instruments, but I also recorded my voice with it and, if I manage not to blow inside the microphone, it's good for voice as well
