Very good all-rounder, great for instruments, vocals and is extremely robust.
Great build quality - sound good
Industry standard. Good all around microphone!
A classic
This classic is used on snares, guitars, wind instruments in live and studio situations. It is unbreakable and well built.
A great allrounder.
It's a 57. Get one
Yes they plastic shell can break if you're being very rough with it.
Yes it should come with a windsheild.
Yes everyone should have a 57 because they are a standard and used on most of your favourite recordings.
Very good mic
I use this mic mostly for guitar recording and live performance as well and it has never failed me. It is very good for capturing loudness like guitar, brass or snare drum. It is made like a tank. I have also used it to record speech but I prefer the sm58 for that kind of stuff. It is a must have in your studio.
A real workhorse
This is a real timeless workhorse for our band and band's studio. I use it for recording snare and guitars.
Great mic for it's price. Using it on nothing else but snare drum. To this day it has served me well and will probably do do for a couple of years to come no mater how many times the drummer "accidentally" smacks it.
Excelent mic!
Shure SM57 is one of legendary mics, used worldwide in studios and on stages. Perfect for drums, guitar amps, percussion, brass and even voice. Simply a must have.
Great microphone
Satisfied with the purchase. The microphone is a real legend. For its tasks copes 100%
Industry standard instrument microphone
You can't go wrong with an SM57, every studio in the world has a bunch of these.
You can either use it alone or alongside a condenser mic, either way it captures the amp's sound perfectly.
Industry standard for a reason!
Just works for anything really.....recorded stuff from electric guitars acoustic guitar, miked up amplifiers....also used to record stuff like radio speakers for lo-fi stuff and my weird-coloured glockenspiel....
Can be connected to mixer directly or used with samplers such as SP404 or digitakt or just plug directly in an audio interface or into delays...
Great for vocals and guitars or just for banging on stuff like doors and tabletops really...
very good nice price
Very good clear sound and pick up sound at high resolution I have not found any problem for this item
Workhorse
What can I say that hasn't been said before? This mic has been the industry standard since 1965. I use it mainly for snare and guitar cabs, but it's also great on toms and vocals. If you record drums or electric guitar you need this mic.
Standard for a reason
I can see that this mic is the standard in the industry for a reason.
No words needed
I think my feedback is absolutely unnecessary, but I?ll say it again: best microphone in history to record guitars, snares etc!!
