Very decent studio desk for the price.

I needed a cheap second desk for my home office, specifically for my music noodling needs. This was cheap and seemed to have most of the features I wanted.

It was fairly easy to assemble for someone with plenty of Ikea experience. The wheels are useful, and the cut-out for your chair is very useful.

I do miss having a keyboard shelf - I feel like the main desk height is a little bit too low, and the monitor shelf a little bit too high for larger screens (they ended up above eye-level for me).

However, for this price, that's no real argument. If you want a cheap desk, this one's great to get you started, and to learn what you might want in a higher-end desk.

Check your monitor/screen height!

The desk is good, however I have had to modify it, shortening the length of the uprights, as the 2nd shelf was too high.

I'm fairly average height, however I was craning my neck to look at my screens on the shelf and still keep my elbows level with the main desk.

Perfect not only for music

I bought this desk mainly for music purposes, but also knowing that it would have to be suitable to work on. And, it is!

The top shelf comfortably hold my speakers and my monitor which is on an arm. The main desk area is spacious and can hold everything. I can't comment on the racks as I didn't install them (who has money for analogue stuff nowadays?). The bottom shelf is really helpful to put gear on as it keeps it separate from the floor.

Overall a great product!

Good

Everything fine except center brackets can't be screwed fully because center vertical panel is too thin for their total length, this can be fixed by adding washers.

Cons:

- main worktop is too low

- upper shelf is too high when using it for a computer screen or monitors

Almost perfect

First thing to point out is that this desk is not healthy for marathon work. It should have been higher. The two racks are not identical. One wouldn't fit what the other would.

I have been using this desk for 5 years until a year ago and now it's carefully stored to be used again someday.

Amazing for the price

A central upright broke as I put it together but makes no difference really. What you get for the money is impressive. Would buy again.

Great start point

The desk is big and have lots of space, but not much in the rack (depth-wise, unless if you have so much space behind of your desk, but how many people are going to have it in the center of a room?). I ended up using the space as book shelves, and since the height is too much for both a computer-monitor and monitor-speakers, I cut off 4.5 cm to lower it down.

Since it's simply made, you can add or modify so easily.

It's ok

the first 3-4 years was ok. then some parts started to get unglued and peel off, especially where your legs meet the wood...but it's a nice buy for the money. It is well balanced set up

Cheap and sturdy!

A very good and cheap studio desk. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it's quite a low desk , The computer screen will be high up when placed on the shelf. Otherwise a bargain!

Good desk, arrived damaged

Great desk, especially for its price. The desk itself is pretty sturdy and the rack mounts work great. With this said, the desk arrived damaged, with a large crack on the main desktop, but this has since been resolved.

Solid table

Its a solid and robust table if you mount it softly and gently. The holes are pretty bad drilled so I don't think its something you can disassemble that many times. Mine had two bang, one on the wood and other on the metal but im pretty sure i just had bad luck with UPS. Nethertheless if you dont care much about the looks this is a pretty solid station.

Love it!

Amazing space saver; fits all my units, computers, monitors etc.

Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Pros:

Well designed and manufactured and very easy to assemble on your own.

Cons:

Only Con I have, and hence why I'm not giving 5 stars, is that the screw holes in the rack unit mounts are set too narrow (about 2 millimetres narrower than the units narrowest setting) and so I can only screw in one side. Other than that it is exactly what I needed.

great desk

it needs to be assembled but the instructions are really clear and easy to follow the rack's are really convenient and it's sturdier than you'd think, excellent for home recording and it definitely looks far more professional than an office desk :)

Perfect for a home studio

It's what I expected but....coming straight to the only 2 "bad" points.

I use an I mac to the screen it's a little bit too high for me and I think if the wheels were bigger it would be easier to move it, but apart from these points it's a bargain, it really worth each euro it costs.

Way better than I expected

When I bought this table, I was preparing myself for a cheap, computer-desk like feel, you know, the ones that feel so plastic even though they are made from wood?

Well, not this one.

Use and Pros:

This weighs 45 kg and is sturdy as hell. The assembly was easy, instructions clear and included parts - none was missing. This table allows me to place two 8" monitors as well as a 25" screen on the top shelf, making my life easier. There is a plenty of space everywhere.

Cons:

The only tiny grief that I had was the included rack-mount bars - the screw holes were not as precisely cut as I'd wished but will definitely do the job.
