Amazing for the price

For the money they sound excellent. They are not the most comfortable headphones but neither are they the worse Ii've worn. Leads are durable and have yet to be damaged by running over with the studio chairs

Amazing sound quality for the price. Fairly neutral across the spectrum. Has some troubles handling drop A on a 5 string bass if the EQ is bass heavy. Otherwise I can reccomend. They are durable, confortable and everything seems very rugged and well made

What did you expect for what it cost

To be very honest, I have been working in loads of differents studios with different equipments. I adquired this item because I really needed urgently some headphones for a recording job. I wasn't looking for something fancy, but this headphones actually shock me out. They work and sound quite well for the price. I have recorded 3 or 4 people with them, and I had no complains. If you looking for a pair of headphones for your home studio, or just to have a different sound reference for a nice price: This headphones are what you are looking for.

Excellent headphones for the price

Ordered these headphones along with the AKG velour pads. The pads that come with it are not very comfortable, and tend to get sweaty as most pleather pads. I also have a Beyerdynamic DT 770, and the sound is not as transparent, but still very enjoyable. It it slightly more colored and therefore possibly more enjoyable as 'listening' headphones. Build quality is not great, the headphones are not meant for transportation. After several months of use, the small cable extension broke and I had to solder a new cable. Still, great headphones for the price, would buy again.

Good quality headphones, ideal for practice or studio work.

Preity good for the price, but needs better pads for the comfort, with good pads is really good. Bets a lot of more expensive headphones under the ¤100 mark.

Surprised by the quality

For the price paid, I've got surprisingly good quality for my home recording studio. The headphones are obviously not in range of some high quality products, however, it serves the purpose for your home studio needs.

What I was expecting

The sound is not the best but if you compare with other headphones in the same price range I guess they are not bad at all.

It does get a little uncomfortable after a while.

Comfort is bad with stock earpads, so buy Beyerdynamic pads at least. Quality is BAD and my plug attached to bezel broke in 8 months of use.

Good set of cans

I bought these for my studio and can safely say they are a great sturdy bit of kit. They get dropped and heavily used and are a real workhorse. They are affordable and worth every penny. They are very comfortable to wear and I don't hear complaints about them after hours of wearing. The sound quality is very good too.

Interesting starting product

My first pair of Studio Headphones so i can't give an accurate feedback. The price is pretty interesting and the quality too. Even if it's my first pair, since the very first experience with them i felt the quality change. Would absolutely recommend to those who want to try some headphone mixing starting with a reasonable price.

Great!

I?ve been using these for 3 years now and I?m totally satisfied. They are durable, the sound pretty nice and flat, and I get not distortion at all even at high volume. Also the long cable is very convenient!

Good starting monitors

I use these headphones to play guitar from balanced output and mix/master my tracks.

For guitar playing I really like them. Neutral well balanced sound. For mixing I sometimes get lost with the low end. I'm not sure if it's just me or the clarity of low end in these headphones is not the strong part.

What a godlike pair of headphones. Fantastic sound, GREAT durability, modular cable, the only slightly negative thing is that my ears hurt when I wear them for a long time; mainly the top part of the ear.

Just buy them.

Slightly disappointing compared to other Superlux headphones.

I've owned several of these cheap Superlux headphone models. Some of them have sounded very impressive for the price. These ones... not so much. Perhaps I just prefer differently voiced headphones but these ones seemed a bit too stiff and sterile sounding to me, and still not neutral/detailed enough for mixing (which to be fair would be too much to ask at this price).

Comfort is slightly better than on the other Superlux headphones I've tried though. I prefer this headband design over the one they use on their even cheaper models. They are still very clammy with their all plastic design though.

Build quality... Seems ok but I know from experience that all these cheap Superlux headphones have VERY thin and fragile cables that always break, usually near the plug. And the plug is of the molded kind so it's impossible to re-solder it. They can be fixed at the cost of a new jack plug but the thin wire is a pain to work with and it WILL break again.

I got these just to have a couple of extra cheap headphones in my control room but would never consider them for hifi/critical listening or mixing. And obviously the open back design limits their application for tracking work. But just to have around the control room as an alternative monitoring for doing synth/MIDI overdubs... they are great!

Very nice for the money. They feel less cheap than the price but they still feel cheap.

Best Sound For the Price

These headphones are a great entry product for anyone that wants to listen to good quality sounds. not the most comfortable headphones after extended sessions.

One of the best VFM headphones!

I purchased these for my brother 5 years ago, and he still uses them to this day!

I briefly gave him a set of Austrian-made Q701, and also a K7XX, but he still stuck stuck with the Superlux!

Perfect studio quality headphones.

Those headphones deliver great quality and are really comfortable. As well durable through falls. The cable quality is outstanding.. 1 and half year almost using those and still not even a flaw. The package comes with a cool case for the headphones as well as mini AUX audio cable and a 3m. cable .
