Fine headphones for their price

When I got these headphones I was slightly impressed by sound quality for such a price. I must say that they aren't so comfortable to use more than 1 hour, your ears will hurt.

After some time you will get used to it.

Neutraler Sound, gute Verarbeitung

Der Sound ist recht neutral und besser für Spiele geeignet als für den Musikgenuss. Der Sitz ist gut, allerdings sollte man sich die Kopfstützen etwas zurechtbiegen, da es sonst auf dauer unangenehm wird.

Can take a beating

This is my second pair of cans. First one broke after years of abuse, dropping it a hundred times during gaming. I’ve owned AKG’s, Sennheiser, Audeze cans but these are my go to when I need near indestructable headphones for everyday gaming use.

Superlux is a solid company that provides many other companies with their products where a label gets slapped on. On this particular model the high end may be a bit harsh but after a break in period that smooths out eventually.

I have a medium to big sized head so the headband crushes my skull when I use it for more than an hour. Replace the sweaty p leather cushions with felt cushions and your golden. I recommend these headphones if you are willing to sacrifice comfort over audio quality and sheer durability. The sound quality is stellar and well rounded. Bass heads should look elsewhere.

Great sound on a budget but change the pads.

Bought a pair along with some AKG K-240 velour pads because i heard some good reviews but the stock pads were supposedly bad.

Stock pads were like most fake leather pads youd get, they do the job but a pad swap is so worth it just for the comfort level alone.

Build wise is mostly plastic, expected at this price point. Theyre also bulky and big so theyre better for home use.

Sound is kinda 'fun', not accurate but good for listening to music or gaming for example. I wouldnt use them for music production.

Being semi open there is sound bleed so take that into consideration when you need to be quiet.

Price is very hard to beat and even if you do get other pads theyre still cheaper than some budget headphones. Different length cables is a nice bonus too. If you do manage to break them then it wont cost much to replace them.

Overall: Cheap set of headphones which sound great for the price, with a pad swap they get even better. Best used when at home relaxing listening to music or the likes of gaming. If you have no other headphones or just want to recommend to a friend then these are worth a look.

Good Sound

Compared to its price it deliver great sound, but if you wear it for a long time it becomes uncomfortable a little bit because of built quality but that's ok because you're not paying a lot for it.

Great quality for the money

It is a great set for the money. You will not capare it with a headset of thousand euros but for the money are very good . Quality wise are nice and sound wise are doing the job.

Everyone should have a pair (or three)

Excellent for the price. Headband is fine & IS adjustable (& moddable). Materials may be cheaply made but handle with care & they will last. The clamping is strong but with use and softer pads are fine for extended use. Sound quality is for me just right - flat, not coloured. Feed them some hi-res audio with a good amp. I have two so far and three various AKGs and a few others but trust these more for fidelity and will probably buy a couple more pairs before they get discontinued.

not the level of other superluxes

the sound is poor to ok, nothing special; but the wearing part of those is simply not very comfy;

straight cable is a bizzare choice as well;

i woudn't buy it second time, even for this price

Price/performance - the best. I have also ATH-M50 and BDynamic 880 Pro, but I still use Supelux - for a change, for other reference, for music listening. You can buy it as first pair of headphones and You will use it for many many years.

Good

Compared to the price, this is a great headset with an amazing impedance. I really enjoy it in my home studio. Great work!

good quality for great value

To be honest I bought these because they were cheap, the headphones i had been using for audio recording just gave out on me one day and needed to find a backup pair quickly until i could afford something better, but in all honesty I'm actually pretty happy with how these sound and they're made fairly sturdy, the only criticism i have for them is that after wearing them for awhile they become pretty uncomfortable, but this hasn't become too much of an issue for me and I'm only too happy to stick with these headphones for the time being.

Sound good, painful to wear

Somewhat recommended. Literally amazing sound if you consider the price of these. Deep and crisp, can easily be used to mix at home. They are not too tight, but the design is prone to slip forward. Unfortunately, I find them painful on my ears for longer than around 40-60mins. You might not, especially if you are small eared.

For a good opinioned spare second pair, or a seriously-on-a-budget pair, they are recommended.

Good sound, poor comfort and quality

Bought them long time ago for mixing/producing. Sounded good, clear, however the comfort was horrid, huge pressure on ears, pain was imminent using these, also, with original pleather pads these were really sweaty thing to use.

Poor build quality as far as cable connector quality comes - cable that runs from headphones to connector went bad after a while, no easy way to fix this other than removing their cable connector assembly completely and resoldering new cable inside the headphones thus making cable permanent.

+cheap

+said to be rather neutral

+rather good sound stage, ie, don’t sound compressed

+extra cables and carrying pouch included(one of the seams disintegrated rather quickly tho)

-poor build quality, cable that goes from headphones to 3.5mm female plug broke down very easily

-hot on ears, gets them sweaty

-very, very tight, not recommended for longer sessions, otherwise ear pain guaranteed, so you might want to put these on some kind of stretcher or something, to easen up their clamping force

Good overall headphones for low price

Used these headphones for 4 year and still working perfectly and sound quality is good. Comfort is fine but over time headband has loosened to point that headphones don't sit so well on your head.

Great value!

Bang for buck, these are excellent headphones for students.

Reasonably comfortable.

Sound quality is great! A little bright sound at first, but this settles after a bit of use.

Build quality is moderate. They're not tough, but not fragile either.

I would buy these again and again at this price.
