How is that possible?

I have used many professional brand name headphones.

I bought them from curiosity.

I can't believe this pair has such a good sound.

I use them for recording because I never use headphones for mixing/mastering.

I use headphones just to catch any noise detail...

So I recorded vocals listening through them.

Every detail and vox tuning issues were revealed.

Clear,well balanced and detailed sound.

Buy them.

Bang for the buck

Most of the parts are plastic, its quite comfortable but not the best, sound okey its have clarity. Overall good bang for the buck

Great for guitar monitoring

I use them to play the guitar on my Boss GT100 at nights when I can not use a cabinet or monitor speakers. They sound great.

Just don't use them at work, or your coworkers will hate you because they are open headphones :)

Headband broke on both sides only a few months in.

Sound quality is bass dominant. Not professional studio headphones so you get what you pay for.

I've had AKG K-240s for over a year now and thought these were roughly the same. How wrong I was. These are simply a poor build, I don't doubt Superlux have decent headphones on offer though. but AKG-K240s are only €55 and the MKII is available

good for the money!

Really useable as a monitor headphone. For longer listening sessions it can become a bit tiresome on the ears. But certainly worth the small sum of money for this headphone.

Used for gaming

Clear sound, in all gaming-related scales. Footsteps and remote sounds easily distinguished.

Can be worn for hours without ears becoming irritated.

Only after several years, the cable and pads started wear out.

For the price can't say anything bad.

Considering the price, they're a really great budget option for home studio use. Sound is better than most of the "budget studio headphones in 50-100€ range. Comfort may not be the best, but may be down to personal preference. One hefty great piece for sure.

Wow!!

probably the best budget headphones you can buy today. I use them in my home studio for mixing with my Apogee element. The clarity is unbelievable even when I’m mixing multiple tracks and instruments.

Pros: price, sound quality, clarity, robust construction

Cons: they don’t come with noise cancellation, and they become slightly uncomfortable if you use them more than 4 hours

Don’t spend your money in more expensive headphones, these are the best you can buy in the market today. They beat more expensive headphones that cost 10 times more.

Good choice for bundle deal.

I use these headphones as part of a bundle deal with the MPS 850 e-kit. They are suited to this, nothing fancy but the quality is good.

Pro's: Affordable, good sound, has a very nice one-size-fits-all mechanism that creates a snug fit around the head.

Con's: It comes with a screw-in adapter plug, this is nice and sturdy for playing the e-kit but makes it cumbersome if you were planning to use it for other purposes (phone, mp3-player, ...).

Sound for this price is awesome

It really sounds fine. Basses are quite decent, treble may be a bit high.

Amazing headphones for the price.

These headphones have great sound quality and are very comfortable. For only 20€ they are an amazing buy. Also very handy that you can change from headphone jack to a 1/4 inch jack easily.

Awesome for the price

I use the superlux HD-681 in my studio for recording and for listening music etc.

The quality of the product is top notch for the price tag, cheap materials with great durability, very good sound and great comfort. I'm using them from about 3 years now.

Price/Quality perfection

For the price, can't be beaten. I use it for my ATV drums and no problem playing for prolonged periods.

It was a present for my father and replaced his 30 year old earphone.

An extreme powerful bass (but not too much) for this price level.

Really good for their price!

Great sound, perfectly comfort! The quality seems a little cheap but it not a problem! Worthy buying them!

Amazing for the price!

Good clear headphones, especially given their price. They do what you'd expect and they do it right.

The only thing that feels a bit off is that the volume produced is slightly lower than expected.

Keep in mind though that they are open cup, so there is little to no external sound isolation. That means the sound isn't as punchy, the high frequencies feel a bit distant and the very low frequencies sound a bit washed out. Not too much of a problem, but easy to tell if you are used to closed cups.
