Great build, functions perfectly

I've used the clip-on polytune tuners before and they are great. For a reliable and rugged on-board tuner, this is an obvious choice. I've gigged with this tuner in diverse conditions where the bright screen has come in really handy. The built-in buffer also takes care of any high frequency roll-off that might occur in long cable runs into your board.

Does the job

I use this one on my bass pedalboard, first in the chain. It does the job very well. I have the buffer on, although don't hear any difference between it on and off. I suppose that's a good thing - no signal loss. Recommended.

If you are looking for a cheap, reliable and useful tuner pedal don't look elsewhere. The new TC Electronic PolyTune is a major improvement. Not only does it feature a high quality buffer, this pedal tracks and tunes accurately. You can strum all your guitar strings at the same time and find out which ones are out of tune in an instant. On a live situation where you have to tune fast in between songs or in between parts, this is specially useful. I have been using the PolyTune family of tuners since the first model came out and I can say it is the best tuner I have ever used. Thank you for the product TC!

Love it, its amazing. This is a game changer for tuners.

I love the different modes, it takes a bit of time to understand how the different types work, once you get a hang of it, it will be your best friend at any gig. Must have for every gigging musician!

It does indeed tune the guitar. Plus it will save you one 9V center negative port from your PSU since you can connect another pedal to it.

I can use it without glasses since the tuner is quite bright and display is big enough.

Good, solid tuner with great display & buffer

The display is pretty much always visible, even in bright daylight. The polytune feature is OK, but I don't often use it as I don't find it accurate enough to be properly in tune. Single string tuning is excellent and easy to do with such a good display. I also like the built-in buffer, which is a real plus for me. Overall a good tuner for a reasonable price. Not as sturdy as a Boss tuner, but this display makes it a winner. Useful extra feature is the 9volt out, which I sometimes use to power off-board pedals.

Great Tuner

I use this as both a tuner and a buffer at the front of my pedalboard.

It's an easy to use tuner that has a killswitch, which is handy if you were playing live so you can tune silently. The buffer in the pedal is also really solid, but if you prefer a true bypass pedal then you have that option with this pedal.

The only negative for this pedal is the fact that because this pedal is so white it gets dirty easily.

Great tuner!

Great quality and functional tuner with a lot of presets and features. I read that some users had to do a firmware update in order to get access to other tuning presets than standard and drop D. However, the unit came with all different kinds of presets already so it was not necessary in my case.

Excellent tuner

The Polytune feature is great for quickly checking every string simultaneously. The tuner is accurate and the sensitivity is just right for my liking. Build is robust and just as road-worthy as any other solid metal pedal. Good for gigging musicians and for studio use, as it will likely last for years and years.

Price is a bit steep for just a tuner, but considering it's likely to be a once-in-a-lifetime investment, it is worth the cost.

Pretty good tuner

Works nicely as a buffer and a tuner. Ignore thhe polytune, it does not function well. Use your ears and the screen.

Seeing all the strings at once saves you time not checking those strings which are still in tune.
