Absolutely brilliant

The only clip tuner I've tried that triggers in a fast and accurate manner on the low B string of a 5 string bass. Very good!!

the best clip tuner in the market

I tried so many tuners already, and no doubt this is the best one. Simple and clear, the price now is good, it's time to have your own.

Great tuner and battery life. Poly tuning not perfect.

Bought this to replace one of those cheap Fender FCT tuners. Costs a bit more but the upgrade in quality was definitely worth it.

Feels pretty sturdy, the screen is pretty easy to read and operate. Most importantly, it's accurate and the battery life is good.

The single string tuning is good, however the multi-string tuning isn't quite perfect. The low E and A always show a bit flat for example, even if they're right on in chromatic mode.

All around a pretty recommended choice, but maybe don't buy just for the poly tuning just yet.

+ Scherm past zich aan aan de oriëntatie van het toestel. Meting staat dus nooit op zijn kop.

Good for BASS

great for intonations set up, daily tuning, and it's portable enough to take to any music store, try out their every single bass, just so you can say, nah, my Sandberg does that as well, but better:)

Use it all the time

Very convenient. Use it all the time. Might go crazy in a loud environments though.

Good tuner, works as described

The tuner works as described, the one thing that bothers me is that it turns of during tuning after some time, while i'm stil tuning). I wish i had gotten the black one. :D

Simply the best clip tuner for me. I used it in acoustic instruments and also on a electric guitar. Simply accurate and perfect.

Best tuner i've ever used

I've used in the past clip tuners so I was a little bit skeptical when I've bought it. But It turned out to be very very precise.

But that my depend on the guitar you're tuning. I used it on my Taylor 114ce and I can say that I can tune it perfectly.

Quick, accurate and sturdy

This excellent quality tuner does everything you'd expect from a clip-on tuner. It starts quickly, has excellent readability and above all is very accurate. The polytune feature is a nice plus.

It feels like quality material, I like its size/format and the way to handle it.

I choose the white to black one to find it back easily :-)

Incredible clip on tuner

I use it on acoustic and electric guitars and works just perfect.

Don't have anything negative to say about this clip tuner, just awsome!

Excellent single string tuning

The single string tuning it's very easy and precise, and since it arrived the PolyTune lives on my guitars' headstock. I still have mixed feeling about the polytune strumming tuning, that seems a bit less precise (but I'm still experimenting).

Very good quality tuner

I think this is the best tuner I ever owned. Display is very clear and is visible in every light condition. The only (little) cons is the power button, it needs to be pressed with too much energy to go on.

Best clip on tuner money can buy

I have used this tuner at every gig for the last couple of years on acoustic and electric guitar as well as bass. It is extremely accurate and very bright and the battery lasts a really long time.

It is made of high quality materials and feels and looks very premium. It is very easy to use. I usually strum my open strings to get an idea of what is in or out and then go string by string for fine tuning.

The only issue is that it sometimes recognises the low (note) E string as a B or flickers between E and B. The solution is to play the 12th fret harmonic and it recognises the E.

I would recommend this to any guitarist. This is a tuner you can trust. Even if you already have a pedal tuner, this clip on makes a great backup. Or if you have your pedal tuner on a board and don?t want to set it up for a practice, this clip on is a reliable alternative. I usually have it with me in my bag with a capo and some picks just in case I end up playing a guitar on my travels.

The only con is that tuning accuracy is not the best compared to bigger tuners.

Reliable

Great tuner for just about any type of guitar or bass. I love mine and the batteries last very long.

Great tuner

PROS: Little size, bright screen, quality-metal/rubber, all-strings tuning at once

CONS: It's expensive, but I think it's worth buying a tuner that will last you a few years, than to buy a new cheap tuner every month.

The only dissapointment that I had with it is that the white plastic (at the ON button) broke a bit after a very short time, because I pressed it. When you want to take the tuner off the guitar, lift the tuner-itself (plastic thing) a bit, and then press the metal only. I hope this helps!

Does the job

The precision is amazing, and my only complain is that even after tune every string one by one, is showing low lectures on the strumming mode.

Not a problem for me.

Another negative point is that I'm not able to find a correct spot on PRS headstocks xD but I suppose I can't blame the tuner for that.

A superb little tuner, with a couple of caveats.

I use my Polytune Clip all the time, and of all my tuners (and I have owned a lot) it is my favourite. However, I am only going to give it four out of five because of a couple of things.

One; the polytune (all the strings at once) function is ok, but I wouldn't trust that alone when playing live or recording. It's not really possible to check all the strings accurately. I always use the single string mode to tune up, and it is excellent at that.

Two; the casing is plastic, and a small crack developed where it is very thin around the on button. This messed around with the function of the unit, and I had to take it apart, superglue the crack and put it back together again. It works fine, but it was an annoyance.

In summary; this is a great and accurate clip on tuner, but the poly gimmick isn't for me. It has a design flaw in the case, and at this kind of price I cannot justify five stars.
