Simply Superb

I've had quite a number of tuners over the years, and they've varied in quality. This is absolutely superb.

I'm mainly using this tuner in a project studio which influenced my decision to get the clip version.The ability to swap quickly from headstock to headstock is far more convenient than using the floor pedal version for my current purposes. Were I playing in a live environment more, the pedal version would be a more practical choice.

The accuracy and sensitivity of this thing are unbelievable. I tend to use it in individual string mode for fine tuning, and the poly tune mode for a quick reference spot check.

I genuinely don't know how the engineers at TC Electronic have managed to produce this unit at this price point. Super performance, and amazing battery life. I won't be using anything else anytime soon.

If you're considering it, don't consider it any longer. Just buy it. You won't regret it.

It's good, with minor issues

It works well and has all the features you would expect in a clip-on tuner.

Problems: It randomly switches to polyphonic tuning mode when you are trying to tune one string, and there is no way to disable this behavior.

It does not show the octave number of a note, for example C1, C2, C3, etc...

The battery cover seems flimsy and does not fit perfectly in place.

I bought this tuner to get more place in my pedalboard. It works well very practical and very accurate! It does the job very well.

Just amasing

As a total beginner and someone who has never tuned a guitar before I could not believe how the poly tune had my new guitar sounding the way it should in minutes

I would recommend this item for beginners like me who know nothing, and professionals in a hurry

Polytune Clip Tuners everwhere!!!!

These little guys are everywhere I look now....you could probably build a mansion with all the discarded Boss TU2 pedals on EBay! I have 5 of these - one for every bat....need I say more?

Very well made clip tuner

I've used this on my 1850s upright bass, Sandberg 5 string bass guitar and on various acoustics and it has performed very well. I personally prefer the mode where you tune one string at a time but the other mode (where you can see the tuning of all of the strings at once) is useful during a gig to quickly see which string is the problem. I keep mine in the box it came in because it's really small and the box is great quality. Highly recommended, even though it is much more expensive than a lot of other tuners.

The last tuner you'll need

I haven't touched another tuner since receiving this one. The accuracy is insane! More than accurate enough to set your intonation unlike a lot of other tuners around. There are tuners that cost twice as much as this does and come nowhere near being as accurate. I'm used to tuning up with a tuner and then manually tweaking from there but I finally don't have to do that any more.

The only complaint I have is actually more of a pro for this tuner. The low E on my main guitar has a fret that's a hair high. Doesn't cause any problems when plugged in but the tuner is so sensitive that it picks up on it and it has trouble getting a reading on that string. However this is a problem with the guitar and not the tuner and it's fine on my other guitars. This is worth every penny and if they doubled the price it would still be worth it.

Awesome tuner

I got this tuner for those main points :

-It's easy to use, very clear and to understand how it works ;

-It's a very accurate tuner ;

-It's responding fast ;

-You do not need to plug anything to use it.

Just leave it on the head of your guitar and it will follow your musical instrument everywhere. The clip is good, so unless you knock the head of your guitar on something, the tuner shouldn't move.

About the cons, I'm note really convinced with this 6 strings tuning at the same time. I find it more accurate when tuning strings one by one.

To sum up, TC Electronic did a great job with this little beast. It does the job better than any tuners I had so far (and I tried many) !

Like so much TC Stuff....

...it just fails to deliver.

Forget their claims that you can display (and therefore tune) all six strings on a guitar simultaneously, it simply doesn't work, and believe me, I've tried it on a few dozen guitars.

For regular tuning, intonation though it's fine, though to be honest I wish I'd bought a Snark or something similar rather than this.

Deeply disappointing, and from me at least, not recommended at this price.

best clip on tuner

Ive had several different clip on tuners but this one leaves them all in the dust.

the big bright screen mean its very easy to see on a dark stage.

Its very accurate , and the poly function is very useful to quickly see which strings may need tuning.

THE BEST TUNER

I USE MY TUNER A LOT IN SESSIONS AS I USE THE DOUBLE DROP D TUNING FOR BACKING IRISH TRADITIONAL TUNES AND FOR SONGS CHANGE TO STANDARD TUNING THIS TUNER IS ACCURATE AND FAST AND WITH THE NOISE LEVELS IN THE BAR THE TUNER PICKS UP THE TUNING BY THE VIBRATION BATTERY LIFE IS VERY GOOD I COULDN'T FAULT THIS TUNER IN ANY WAY 100%.

A very precise and solid tuner! I tried a few clip tuners and I have to say that the TC Electronic PolyTune Clip Tuner is (by far) the best.

You can strum all strings at the same time and the PolyTune will show you which note needs a correction.

And it really works! I did not believe it when I read the description, but now I'm very convinced and use it very often, because it saves a lot of time.

Even when you're tuning every single string, you will save time, because it reacts extremely fast!

It works super precise with both acoustic guitars and electric guitars.

Very Good

Very good tuner. I decidet to buy a clip tuner in order to save space in my pedalboard. The TC Electronic PolyTune Clip is very accurate and fast. ;) Recommended!

Simple, practical and small tuner for all occasions...

Nothing to say.. It's TC.

As said before, nothing to say. It will become your new best friend.

It's really accurate, so portable, stage-ready,a real quality tuner.

You may think it's expensive. But I tried and owned lots of tuners, if I had this clip Poly tune since the first times I would have saved a lot of money.

(Cheaper tuners are not even close to this accuracy, so I spent money and time to tune slower and worse.)

I suggest to have this tuner ones and for all.

Simply the best clip-on tuner

Having tried several cheaper clip-on tuners I am so impressed with the TC Electronic Polytune that I now have two and my son has bought one also.
