Great pedal for a sound boost when doing a solo

Easy to install & set up. Set the dial for the amount of boost you require beforehand, then simply hit the button to apply the boost.

Warm Up Your Sound

Great pedal and for the price and size it was ideal for my pedalboard. I use this booster on all the time when performing to push my amp to the sweet spot, great clarity and warm sound.

Simplicity wins

Does exactly what it supposed to do. Does not colour the sound, if you want to add volume its there. Put in front if you want to give a spark to your amp. ( you can buy a much better pedal for that though). But for the money, the build quality, the size, it is unbeatable

Interesanting device

I ordered this pedal for my friend. He showed me that this pedal does boost your signal, but it does not saturate the sound, so you get a clean boost of the signal.

Brilliant little pedal

I had one of these before , and had regretted letting it go . I finally decided to put it on my board again. It's perfect for jumping in and out of songs with solo's , without overly changing your sound. Just gives the right amount of grit to lift you above everything else

No BS boost!

It's only a boost pedal, yup and that is what it does. Clean, sturdy and without colouring the sound. One knob. That's all you need on a boost pedal. The boost range is more than enough (if you'd need more you're either deaf or need to set your amp up properly...)

Very useful tool to have

I use this pedal as always on, just before going into the amp, after all my overdrives. I'd much rather have high volume going in and then work on cutting that down as I see fit, than feeling it lacking and having to turn other things up to compensate and potential distort the signal more than I would like. It of course has a dozen other uses, whether always on or temporary boost.

Adds some noise

This has some its own noise. Keep in mind when boosting distortions it adds its own mid-pitch noise.

One of the best clean boost

Minus 1 star, the product had a trace of use on the the bottom side, whereas it should be brand new.

For the money - a MUST!

Very practical, musical and highly usable allaround booster! Don't even think about it, just throw one in the shopping bag and you are ready for a many situations when GOING down (a) badass SOLO! (Acoustic AND electric and NOT just guitars!)

A surprisingly useful little box

Such a simple idea, so well executed. A volume boost on a footswitch. This is the mini version of a bigger one that features additional treble and bass tone adjustment, but why pay extra for unnecessary features and a bigger box.

As far as I can tell it is just a straight volume boost, without any tone colouration. However, in practice it gives the impression of creating a fatter sound.

Perhaps this is the amp reacting to more signal. I don't really know, but I like it.

A great, simple, clean boost with a bonus feature

The Spark Mini is a great clean boost, without any perceivable sound colouring or noise. The build is solid, the knob is comfortable and the switch is soft (without that clunk that most oldschool switches have), so it doesn't hurt when you step on it only wearing socks. Works fine both as a boost before my preamp to raise the gain, and in the FX loop as a volume boost. Comes with self-adhesing rubber feet and a tc electronic sticker. Looks quite cool, too.

The switch also has a hold feature (tc electronic call it PrimeTime), meaning that if you press and release the switch it works as usual, but if you hold the switch down for more than a moment the pedal switches off when you take your foot off. Very useful if you only want to accentuate a specific part.

The only downside is that battery isn't an option, but I don't know how you would do that in this size.

Great pedal in a small form factor and for a low price.

Not instantly usable.

I had this connected, but didn't always use it, things changed slowly as I got the hang of it, I do minute lead breaks between chord shapes. The stop/go button on this gets a real beating when I'm in full flight, but seems to be doing OK so far.

The adjustable gain on this is a nice feature and I find m'self adjusting a little different for every number.

I love it for expressing my, or the whole mood of the gig.

Overall, it's a super musical tool. Sometimes I don't even kick it, even though it's connected.

Such a great buster pedal!

This thing is incredible. The volume can be very loud. Usually I use it for about 9 hours, and it sounds very loud! Sound of this thing is realy awesome, it's really what I need.

A good Booster Pedal

It's a very good, well prized little booster. It does its jobs admirably, doesn't distort the sound and take little a space in the pedalboard.

Buy it.

Really solid construction and finish.

I use it to boost a pedal that is mostly for rock and it makes the sound a bit warmer and richer.

I am quite satisfied with the purchase.

great pedal from TC

Not many cons about this pedal, easy handling, simple features, good sound, amazing quality in a mini pedal for a cheap price. The con will be the size of the footswitch and the plastical shape of the volume knot. Cool spark mini pedal, TC works great.

Can't be simplier!

Such a great and fun little tool to enhance your sound or boost your amp into a beast. I personally use it at the end of my chain before or after delay to lift up my solos. The PrimeTime option is unique and extremely usable for short pieces and I seem to use it more often now.

What a funny price for professional and reliable gear!
