Thomann CTG-10 Clip Tuner Reviews
It is very nice!
GREAT LITTLE TUNERS FOR THE PRICW
HAD TO BUY BATTERIES BUT I CHECK IT AGAINT A CONN TUNER AND IF NOT PERFECYT CLOSE ENOUGH I BOUGHT TWO SO I WOUL HAVE AN EXTRA
not good
looks nice, affordable, easy to use, but it is not working on dreadnought acoutic guitar as it should be. not sensitive enough so very often can't recognize string vibration at all or it is very slow.
wouldn't recommend it.
Easy to read and just works.
Big bright screen that is easy to read even in bright lighting where others I own get washed out and become unreadable.
Gets the job done at a good price
You don't need more than this, been using for several months now for both for guitar and bass. it works well, not much you could say.
makes a good buy for a fair price.
Very cheap, would be better off paying a small premium and getting one that works.
This tuner is okay, it functions alright on my acoustic guitar and is usable in those circumstances but I have found that for use on my electric guitars it was far too inconsistent with picking up that a note is actually being played. While this could be an issue with my specific guitars, I feel it's unlikely given all 3 had the same issue.
I ended up having to go buy a different one for about £10 and that has worked much better, this one now sits in my acoustic case as an "emergency backup" although I'd still rather use a phone tuner than this.
Nice little tuner
Inexpensive tuner, clips on guitar nice and easy. Adjustable angle for viewing. Easy to read and use. Only con is it struggles to pick up the low b string on a 5 string bass. No problem on guitar or 4 string bass
it is unreliable for gig use ..it doesnt react well on bass guitar.little better on electric..this is for use on a rehearsal but even then sometimes it acts like it is a mess..confusing G and D strings.. i think it is good for home use or at some party when you play just for fun.it is cheap so it is usable but not for serious use..would be afraid to go on a live play with this
Very good tuner, but he have a problems with turning on.
The body feels a bit cheap, but the tuner itself is very easy and convenient to use.
Great tuner for a ridiculously low price.
I bought this because where I busk has strip lighting, and my much more expensive Snark tuner was so reflective, I couldn't read the display. This seems accurate, and is easy to read. Very happy with it.
Rubbish
Totally insensitive. Replaced with a D’darrio which is excellent.
Perfect
I bought it for a gift for a beginner guitarist, so i tried it to check if it works properly. I was surprised by the quality and the tuning stability, in fact it was faster than my Fender one!!!
Recommended.
Does the job.
Good tuner and does the job. Nice and compact to throw in my hard case.
It doesnât hear low strings
In noisy environment it doesn’t deliver…
Low strings tuning is problematic mostly. It takes time to ‘forget’ the string tuned before
Not that great
I have difficulty tuning my guitar with this. It doesn't always detect my guitar's pitch and keeps flicking from on note to another. Quite frustrating to use.
Less is more
This is a clip tuner that works. The best part is that it only has one button, so you can't accidentally switch off 440 hz when you don't mean to, which is always.
do its thing
For this price - it does its thing. If you want a cheap and better one - the korg does the thing , but it would have an input instead of a clips.
It tunes
What can I say. Clip on and tune. It does what it's supposed to. Great value.
Low price/High quality
This tuner has features I did not know existed, 3 settings for making sure your entire neck is tuned and frets are OK. The screen is very distinctive and visible in most lighting conditions. I recommend this tuner....!
